  1. I doubt if they'll be re- eleced now. They've screwed a lot of people. Individuals, pension plans and the oil patch all at once. A lot of junior exploation companies will likely be closing their doors, and the bigger oil companies won't do the work they were doing.
  2. I say bring em down. We've been hung with a new rope.
  3. I don't see any reason why they can't supply their own guns. I'll bet the price tag would come away down.
  4. The left kept saying do something. Well now we are seeing what doing something is. Tax the hell out of everything that is, create more poor people and could very well set the stage for a new round of death by government. http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/financi...f6-d72107274d52
  5. http://www.canada.com/topics/news/world/st...520&k=23032 Another nail in the coffin of the denial croud such as those who sent Harper a letter asking for more study. Will Harper stand up and acknowledge this report? Will he stand with our ally Great Britain in this fight? Obviously Global Warming and the fight against it is part of our Federal political discourse at the moment, and thus far Harper has done little to show that he takes the situation seriously. Tell us gerry what kind of scientist is this and what research has he done. This a report based on the false assumption that there is man made global warming. Man made global warming based on the phony computer models.
  6. No I need you to provide the proof of man made global warming. Not phony computer models that have to sabotaged to give the answer their looking for.
  7. I haven't seen any facts. He keeps pointing to data which was incorrect and he knows it. What incorrect data.
  8. Richard Lindzen is paid by the oil industry to comment. He has been paid by OPEC in the past. Lindzen is incorrect on warming and has been for some time. I don't care who he is paid by. The facts are the facts. Put up the proof of man made global warming.
  9. Again it's all based on computer models that have to be sabotaged to come up with the desired predetermined conclusion. When they do that their models won't match the known historical temperature records. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml...nclimate129.xml
  10. You will likely find we won't deal with terrorists and surrender would be out of the question.
  11. That is just one of the tricks that Republican party uses to keep minority voters away from the polls. When you heard that statement you probably assumed it meant that people currently in jail could not vote (which is reasonable in my opinion). What it actually means is that anyone with a criminal record is banned from voting for life even if they have been a law abiding citizen for years (which is completely unreasonable). In addition, the Republicans have used the no-felon-laws to scratch many black voters off the list who have not been convicted of anything because of 'mistaken identity'. Anyone who cares about democracy should be very concerned about these slimy tactics. That said, the democrats are not completely clean because they are fighting measures which force people to show id at the polling booth. OTOH, the Republicans are pushing for a type of ID that most poor people would not have the money to acquire. There is a compromise possible on the ID issue but I think both sides are guilty of using it for partisan purposes. As I understand it if you are a convicted felon you can't vote for five years from whatever time I don't know. The voter ID cards from I hear are free so that's no argument. It all says more about the Dems rather than the Rep. If their voters are cons and illegals.
  12. Lie. Sure Figeaf.
  13. You might want to rethink what you just said. It will raise the earths temperature if all things are equal, but they're not. So that can only mean that it won't. What ever it will or won't raise the earths temperature seems to have little to do with the rise or fall of the known historical temperature records based on the increases of CO2.
  14. An excellent piece of Israeli, American and now Canadian bashing. I don't know what one of his gems stands out the most. There are so many of them. So I'll go with this one. Hamas won an honest and open election in Palestine as if that is some how justification to over look the fact they are a terrorist organization responsible for sending homicide bombers into Israel to kill hundreds of people. The reason they don't recognize Israel is because they intend to see them wiped off the map. Chuckman needs to be reminded that Hitler was also elected, and his time did everything he could do to wipe the Jews out of Europe, and if he had one the war and taken over the world he would have wiped them off the planet. Israel bashing has become just a smoke screen for Jew bashing.
  15. I've heard that before, but I also heard it was the names of convicted felons they removed.
  16. The most charges seem to be signing up the same voters in such a way as to able to vote more than once in the same election. Signing up voters who are not citizens.
  17. oodles is not a percentage. What seems like big money to one, is not necessarily enough to the company.
  18. If one oil companies can't reach a deal it's unlikely another will either.
  19. Do you have any links to support that? No but I listen to a lot of American politics.
  20. So Newfoundland is trying to up the take after a deal was made.
  21. It's Dems that have been caught on many many occasions trying to rig elections. Now we are suppose to believe that the elections are all in hands of the Rep.
  22. Well I thought they weren't being developed.
  23. It doesn't change anything, it's still the best way to do it. The government has to stop spending money on the feel goods and start doing their job.
  24. What they need to do is have the ownership of the resources transferred to Newfoundland. That the management would be provincial, but it still wouldn't guarantee the oil companies would do anything if they can't get a deal they can live with.
  25. I guess the carbeque could help business. My real concern is that the politicians are ditzing around the edges of a serious problem. If they don't deal with it there will be no France, period. Those of us who have been against the mass importation of incompatible cultures have been saying that for years.
