  1. That is natural for glaciers. If you went to one that is expanding like they are in other parts would that mean we have global cooling. Climate has always been changing. That is a fact. Most warming over the last hundred years took place before 1940 and since then there has actually been a cooling. Since 1998 the temperature has been basicly flat with no increase.
  2. Better take a closer look. http://www.junkscience.com/MSU_Temps/NCDCanom.htm
  3. You haven't shown that it hasn't increased. My bet is you can expect a telegraph article by Bob Carter to be linked to now...That article was what started this widespread myth that temperature hasn't increased since 1998 Bob Carter, yes indeed. A die-hard liar/denier paid for by oil&gas. http://allpoliticsnow.com/content/view/27/1/ You probably called it. Typical left wing tactic of the gloom and doom industry and all originating from commie command and control at the cesspool of corruption. What is the "typical left wing tactic"? Looking truthfully at a source for information, and identifying when the source is a bought and paid for liar? Yeah, I guess it is. You are the one who chose to make Bob Carter your expert. That guy isn't a scientist, he's a PR man. And he gets his money from the energy lobby sector. I linked a source which contains various links to information on him. You might want to read it if you're thinking of posting anythign else from Mr. Carter. Unless you're not interested in the truth, that is. You might want to take a look at the facts. http://www.junkscience.com/MSU_Temps/UAHMSUglobe-m.htm
  4. You haven't shown that it hasn't increased. http://www.junkscience.com/MSU_Temps/UAHMSUglobe-m.htm http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jh...4/09/do0907.xml Shoggoth, you called it right! Bob Carter. Good grief. B.Max, why do you deny the reality of Global Warming? Is there some financial concern to you, or do you find it unbelievable and overwhelming? I deny there is any man made global warming because there is no evidence for it.

  7. Maybe you could post the proof of man made global warming while you're at it, and tell the class why there has been no increase in global temperature since 1998.
  8. Who would you debate with, the Taliban or Al Qaeda.
  9. Layton Says US Elections a Wake Up Call for Tories Yes it is, they had better start being conservatives or they will be gone. Looking up the UN's butt to see if they can see John Chretien's feet is not being conservative.
  10. The Tyndall people contributed 27 pages of evidence. They didn't write the report. Same difference. No matter it was only out a couple of days and already has been discredited. All that wasted money trying to prove man made global warming, and all one has to do is look at the temperature records. The most recent since 1998 show no increase in temeperature. In fact it has stopped. Of course they don't want people to know that. I guess that's why all the increase in scare mongering, they are afraid the majority of people will find out.
  11. Right from the horses mouth, or the other end depending on your point of view. http://www.tyndall.ac.uk/media/news/latest_news.shtml
  12. The drive to attack Iraq came from the U.S. Blair deserves his share of the blame for Iraq as well. As far as Stern goes, I never expected OPEC to embrace it not right wing American think thanks. The U.N. committee could very well be accurate about the additional costs. Stern had a worse case scenario that had those same numbers in place. From what I read Stern never even wrote a lot of the report. He has no credibilty.
  13. Actually Blair wasn't, they had their own intelligence. As far as Stern goes, it looks more like he is a duper. http://www.thebusinessonline.com/Document....81-687746BE6F0A
  14. If we can go by what jdobbin say's this must prove Blair has no credibility, and since he has been duped by the gloom and doom industry, they also would have no credibility. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2087-2426786,00.html
  15. I haven't seen any evidence or anyone credible say that this period was global. Well I guess you didn't look at the link.
  16. It wasn't global. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_Warm_Period The evidence suggests it was.
  17. Medeival Warming Period (MWP) was a localized event to Europe. This has been talked about many times before. China also had a localized warming period. Demings knows all this yet used it to argue his case. Not according to this. http://sharpgary.org/400-1294AD.html
  18. And that wouldn't happen for a very long time either. This is about new sub-divisions initially. The energy companies would continue to be making a lot of profit of pipelines from the north and across the west and down south. There isn't going to be a mass conversion unless gas becomes so uneconomical. This is about building for the future. At one time everyone had boilers and fuel oil. It took a very long time to convert and put pipelines to every house. Some places out east still don't have a pipeline. In their case, geo-thermal looks good rather than waiting for the pipes. Actually I was thinking about the people that put the pipe lines in. Which got me thinking. So far theoretically we've eliminated the furnace compamy the pipe line guys, the people who make the pipe, the people who haul it, the people who drill the wells, the people who build the plants, the people who operate them, and I guess a host of office people who go along with all the various components and likely others I haven't thought about. Who will be left to buy the houses. In fact what we have there assuming somebody bought the houses is some sort of subsistence living.
  19. And I thought Chretien's plan for Kyoto was pretty useless. Of course. Just like kyoto. It's not much wonder Harper told the EU to take a hike. They are going down the tubes and he didn't want to take us with them.
  20. I don't believe in the credits either. Lends itself to easily to corruption and fraud. Well in this case one begot the other. As Chretien said, without carbon credits there is no use for kyoto.
  21. Yeah and kill off the the pipe line industry at the same time.
  22. Don't see Moncton involved in this. No the poeple behind this will be the ones pushing kyoto and the rest of it. Which is what Moncton is exposing. It's all connected. No man made global warming, no kyoto, no hot air credits.
  23. Sounds like a good way to kill off the furnace industry.
  24. The government won't even deal with him anymore. The Home Office has flagged anything with his name on it. The whole thing is working its way through the courts. And now he knows something about the climate? Yeah I expect he knows where the skeletons are buried, and now we're starting to find out. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml...5/ncarbon05.xml
  25. It is hard to believe anything that comes out of this guy's mouth. His criminal behaviour disqualifies him from being credible. No it's not, and you mean allegations. Monckton’s friends suspect there may be an ulterior motive because of rows over immigration that he has had with the Home Office. He is more than credible. Much more credible than your drive by smear.
