I know you did, bush_cheney2004. I was there, I traveled 900 miles from my home to Washington, D.C. to pay my homage to Ronald Reagan, who along with Margaret Thatcher and Pope John Paul II helped to break down that wall and liberated my nephews and nieces in my former East Block Old Country. A few years later (2007) I visited his Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. If there ever was an American to be admired, in my mind, it is Ronald Reagan.

No sarcasm, at all. Meant every word I said. -

Or like the current president who has no idea what the Constitution is, was or ever could/would be and breaks a bunch of laws? -
The best name for a bridge between Canada and the United States has been taken already: Peace Bridge. I traveled on it roughly 300 times when I lived in Hamilton (Ontario) and worked in Akron (Ohio) from 1997 to 2003 and commuted on the weekly basis. I found the guards on either side totally professional, polite and courteous. In my mind PEACE has never been defined any better. I also crossed into the U.S. over the Ambassador Bridge several times. If a new bridge needs a name, call it FRIENDSHIP BRIDGE, which would be similar to Peace Bridge, and - hopefully - an expression of the relationship which has long existed and, hopefully, continue to exist between our two countries.

Re posts #17 & 18: The pissant fart Trudeau will be long forgotten (or else roundly despised) while Ronald Reagan will be remembered by reasonable people in the United States, Canada and the rest of the world as the one - along with Margaret Thatcher and Pope John Paul II - who made Gorbachev to "tear down that wall" and liberated millions of people sold to communist slavery by Franklin Delano Roosevelt. -

Don't give up just yet. Remember that Ronald Reagan was declared to be an "amiable dunce" by the same kind of intellectual idiots as the the ones who besmirch Sarah Palin today. http://www.mediaite.com/print/here-we-go-again-time-also-publishes-fake-sarah-palin-comment-about-christina-aguilera/ When dishonest crooks and despicable pieces of subhuman dirt have nothing to say, they always and invariably resort to lies. -

Not to be nitpicking, but the bulls-eye indicates the target where the bullet does the harm, while the cross-hair is only the view of the potential shooter. -

History seems to be repeating itself: Jimmy Carter = Barack 0bama. Which one is more inexperienced and incompetent? Iran = Egypt. Maybe not quite, yet, but the Muslim Brotherhood is every bit as crazy as the acolytes of the Ayatollah Khomeni. Unemployment little bit better now than under the peanut guy, but how long? Respect for the United States in the world about the same as under the Nobel Peace prize winner. I mean Carter, not the equally undeserving Nobel Prize winner and current occupier of the White House. Is there a new Ronald Reagan on the horizon? -
Is it time for a President Trump?

Yeah, some day the only thing you can do is roll your eyes, especially when you see symbols displayed by an illiterate. -

And even worse: She CHOSE to carry her child to term. And lovingly raise him, in spite of being differently abled. (Pardon the political correctness). Something that the convenience-driven, politically correct, lazy Democratic/liberal-abortion-loving slugs masquerading as females would never know or understand. -

And by now it it plain to see that Obama is a pig's ear. Or in his case elephant's ear. Both of them. -

In spite the lack of supporting evidence, I acknowledge that Obama is indeed an American born citizen. My reference to qualification was pertaining to life and political experiences. Or, in Obama's case the glaring lack thereof. -

If a glorified and totally unqualified nobody like Obama could become President, who could not and should not be eligible? This clown lowered the bar low enough for a slug to jump over it. -

I saw the most stirring and excellent presentation of Cavaliera Rusticana in Buffalo's Shea Theater. The Great Hall of Hamilton Place has better acoustics than Roy Thompson Hall. Stop denigrating Buffalo and Hamilton. -

Be prepared to suffer attacks by Muslim sympathizers, atheists, liberals and Obama-worshippers. (Pardon the redundancy). And of course, super-patriot "Canadians" who would gladly tell an immigrant like myself to "go back to the country you came from", and call anyone who disagrees with them racists, bigots, rednecks and uneducated boors. But you probably know that already. And DON'T ever use words like the ones that are surely to be used against you, unless you want to be banned at the slightest "indiscretion" deemed offensive by the mimosa-like moderators. -

When I was young and when my kids were young, and when I lived in Burlington, Ontario, we used to go to Burlington, Vermont for our kids to participate in the Burlington International Games, or hosted (billeted) kids from Vermont in alternating years. The people (parents) I met there never impressed me as rabid socialists as Bernie Sanders or Patrick Leahey, United States Senators. They got what they deserve. Nuff said.

I just left another forum for good, because it was full of hateful anti-American post by sanctimonious pseudo-patriot Canadians who were so full of themselves that they thought that the only way to be a good Canadian is to be Yankee-basher. Most of them not only admitted their ignorance about the United States, but were actually proud of declaring that they have not been in there since they were kids. Sad, isn't it, when one has to prove, or claim to be a patriot by showing hate and condescension towards the citizen of another country? -
