  1. I am offering an apology to those who thought this was intended to incite. It was not my intent.
  2. Please tell me what part of my post you see as "telling Canadians how they should run their country"? I am curious though what constitutes "oodles of money" in the mind of a Canadian conservative, and it appears that I will never know since no answer has been forthcoming...just personal slams.
  3. I have no agenda; further, I do not see how asking what constitutes oodles of money translates to a smear. Being on several forums with Canadians for over 7 years, I think I have a good understanding of Canadian conservatives and liberals as well.
  4. Fortunately, it will not be up to you .
  5. He knew he was in violation of his parole when he made the film, that is why he chose to use a fictitious name. The first protest against the film was in Cairo prior to the Benghazi attack and the subsequent attacks throughout the world left him with blood on his hands.
  6. Actually, only until Fox wouldn't let go of the story....they were like a dog with a bone and the entire media noticed....not just MSNBC.
  7. That is because Fox News is an arm of the Republican Party; unable to use it to defeat Obama in 2012, they hope it will damage Hillary Clintons chances in 2016 should she decided to run. It has been presented as a news story on all the other networks not as a partisan conspiracy cover-up intended to enflame and outrage their conservative audience.
  8. Actually, the Libs would just like to know what constitutes "oodles of money" or "a lot of our tax dollars". Hardly an unfair question and one that has yet to be answered.
  9. One need not be a member of Mensa to recognize hard core Harper supporters or those who believe Conservative policies are best for Canada.
  10. The protests and demonstrations against the film beginning in Cairo and spreading across the world that resulted in death and injury to hundreds was the reason for his arrest. Your opinion about Benghazi closely resembles that of Fox News.
  11. Now you should know that Harper supporters don't let facts get in the way of a good narrative .
  12. Hardly, a bystander. http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/nakoula-basseley-nakoula-is-not-a-political-prisoner/
  13. As this article explains there is some parsing of stand down. Was the word stand down mention in witness testimony? http://www.slate.com/blogs/weigel/2013/05/08/benghazi_hearing_gregory_hicks_says_stand_down_order_is_true.html
  14. I don't think he did, he copped it from the liberals.
  15. “I feel so blessed that the government protects my wife and me from the dangers of gay marriage so we can safely go buy some assault weapons.” Will Ferrell

  16. No, I do not watch Fox News but I do read both on-line.
  17. They are not employees of Fox News and both appear on other networks. Dick Morris was a Fox News employee. Both Kristol and Krauthammer flamed out on their Iraq predictions.
  18. What does Krauthammer and Kristol have to do with Fox News?

  20. A refresher course on Dick Morris and his predictions. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mark-nickolas/worst-pundit-in-america-d_b_160212.html
  21. Well if the major of London says it, it must be true, LOL. A simple to understand explanation about snow http://www.newrepublic.com/blog/the-vine/what-the-snowpocalypse-says-about-global-warming#
  22. This of course was omitted from Hanson’s comment. Indeed, the current stand-still of the 5-year running mean global temperature may be largely a consequence of the fact that the first half of the past 10 years had predominately El Nino conditions, while the second half had predominately La Nina conditions (Nino index in Fig. 1). Comparing the global temperature at the time of the most recent three La Ninas (1999-2000, 2008, and 2011-2012), it is apparent that global temperature has continued to rise between recent years of comparable tropical temperature, indeed, at a rate of warming similar to that of the previous three decades. We conclude that background global warming is continuing, consistent with the known planetary energy imbalance, even though it is likely that the slowdown in climate forcing growth rate contributed to the recent apparent standstill in global temperature. http://www.nasa.gov/pdf/719139main_2012_GISTEMP_summary.pdf About the Arctic sea ice: http://nsidc.org/icelights/2012/03/26/the-arctic-sea-ice-maximum/ I don’t believe there has been much controversy the sea ice in the Antarctic http://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/earth20121112.html
  23. Then it should be no problem for you to provide us with examples and links to the investigations that you found lacking.
  24. And please tell me how you acquired so much knowledge of the investigations?
  25. Did you miss all of these? Investigations Clear Scientists of Wrongdoing Six official investigations have cleared scientists of accusations of wrongdoing. • A three-part Penn State University cleared scientist Michael Mann of wrongdoing. • Two reviews commissioned by the University of East Anglia"supported the honesty and integrity of scientists in the Climatic Research Unit." • A UK Parliament report concluded that the emails have no bearing on our understanding of climate science and that claims against UEA scientists are misleading. • The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Inspector General's office concluded there was no evidence of wrongdoing on behalf of their employees. • The National Science Foundation's Inspector General's office concluded, "Lacking any direct evidence of research misconduct...we are closing this investigation with no further action." Other agencies and media outlets have investigated the substance of the emails. • The Environmental Protection Agency, in response to petitions against action to curb heat-trapping emissions, dismissed attacks on the science rooted in the stolen emails. • Factcheck.org debunked claims that the emails put the conclusions of climate science into question. • Politifact.com rated claims that the emails falsify climate science as "false." • An Associated Press review of the emails found that they "don't undercut the vast body of evidence showing the world is warming because of man-made greenhouse gas emissions." http://www.ucsusa.org/global_warming/science_and_impacts/global_warming_contrarians/debunking-misinformation-stolen-emails-climategate.html And I guess you missed this also. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/al-gore/koch-brother-funded-study_b_1032439.html? As I said, Climategate was a lemon.
