  1. i guess your comment is one way to deal with being reminded that you support an undemocratic law.
  2. i realize you want to keep repeating that i'm against the existence of israel and even though i've responded to your false accusations a few times already, this is what i really feel: how israel was formed and the circumstances around it are questionable, but i'm not against the existence of israel. why do you support an undemocratic law when even bob calls the law backwards?
  3. so suddenly this crazy person represents all palestinians and the problem with not having peace in the middle east? why are you not talking about the growing illegal settlements driven by the government of israel? why are you not talking about likud's platform which says to never allow a palestinian state? why are you not talking about the illegal annexation and wall? what about the crazy settlers who attack palestinians and their farms? what about the mosques that are set on fire? there is a big fucking elephant sitting on your head and you're not willing to admit it. may peace be upon you, you radical leftist lawyer.
  4. stereotyping muslims seems to be the only thing some people can do in this forum. here is a story of ultra orthodox jews preventing an all girls school from opening. would those who spend much of their time propagating and promoting islamophobia in these forums treat this story the same as they would if they were muslim? of course not. because muslims should receive a different set of rules. blanket statements and stereotyping are okay as long as the target are muslims: Parents clash with ultra-Orthodox who shut down Beit Shemesh girls' school Haredi residents of city determined to prevent girls' school opening; parents: our mayor is scared to stand up for us. Violent confrontations erupted Monday afternoon between hundreds of parents of students at a religious school for girls in Beit Shemesh and a group of ultra-Orthodox protesters, who arrived at the school on Sunday night and who have refused to move. The protesters object to the presence of the girls in the area, although they themselves live in a different part of the city. The girls at the national religious “Orot” school had been due to start the new school year at the site, but were relocated due to the protest. Last week, Beit Shemesh Mayor Moshe Abutbul sent a letter to the parents’ association, warning that he had received serious threats from ultra-Orthodox residents of the city, who vowed to cause physical harm to both to the mayor and the students should the school open as planned. link
  5. rue.. you missed your scheduled meds again.
  6. there is a sexy young persian girl in my building who has a dog. she calls herself a typical iranian muslim. there are over a billion muslims around the world from various parts of the world and with various beliefs and outlooks. you would have to be either ignorant or have a hateful agenda to start a thread like this.
  7. because saudi arabia, despite some gains, still has a backwards culture that is unwelcoming to others with a different religious background. that said, it's bigoted and downright ignorant to blame the 911 attack on islam and muslims. being against the building of the mosque is a sign that you hold islam and muslims responsible for the 911 attacks when a mass majority of muslims, who come from different background, would never condone such an attack.
  8. the mosque controversy was the creation of pamela gellar. a hideous racist blogger who; wages a form of holy war through Atlas Shrugs, a Web site that attacks Islam with a rhetoric venomous enough that PayPal at one point branded it a hate site. Working here — often in fuzzy slippers — she has called for the removal of the Dome of the Rock from atop the Temple Mount in Jerusalem; posted doctored pictures of Elena Kagan, the Supreme Court justice, in a Nazi helmet; suggested the State Department was run by “Islamic supremacists”; and referred to health care reform as an act of national rape. Ms. Geller has been writing since 2005, but this summer she skyrocketed to national prominence as the firebrand in chief opposing Park51, the planned Muslim community center she denounces as “the ground zero mega-mosque.” if it wasn't for gellar, the building which was already being used for praying since 2009 would have received no attention. lucky for gellar, she can always count on mouthpieces who magnify her bigoted crusade against muslims and create a controversy out of nothing.
  9. oh. oh. here is one of many differences: - ground zero does not represent christianity, whereas mecca is a muslim holy city no wait, let me do another one: - there is no christian population in mecca, whereas in NYC, there is a large muslim population. can you tell me how they are not different?
  10. in 48 hours, the UN Security Council will meet again to discuss whether Palestine should become a new state. if you support this movement, here is your chance to show it by spreading the word.
  11. why do we have to compare ourselves with the worst? why can't we compare ourselves with what can be the best?
  12. it must have taken a lot for israel to muster the word 'regret' for killing 2 egyptian policemen. israel is having a hard time finding any friends in the world. the only countries that pretend to like israel are the ones whose political system and governments are heavily influenced by the israeli lobby.
  13. they killed egyptian police.
  14. you have a habit of trying to justify and downplay fascist dictators' atrocities.
  15. the israeli government realizes that it needs to take attention away from it's internal social economic problems by escalating violence and provoking others into fights.
  16. a blatant censorship by the media and there are people who are still unable to accept how pathetic this is.
  17. the iranian government fully agrees with you.
  18. you may claim to be a radical leftist lawyer, but your posts never reflect that.
  19. the religious and nationalistic right are taking a backseat to the majority of israelis who are demanding changes in the status quo. what started as a protest against high living costs has evolved into something more. people are demanding social justice. for the first time in a long time, arab israelis are protesting alongside jewish israelis. photos In response, Netanyahu has appointed a special committee to address the protesters' demands. The demonstrators have rejected all the reforms offered thus far by the government and have called for a million-person march in 50 cities across the country on Sept. 3. more
  20. sounds like you're okay with fascism.
  21. you used to call yourself a 'radical leftist lawyer'.
  22. an institution or a person can sue another person or institution for boycotting it. democracy in israel is fizzing out.
  23. here is a small piece of a multi-dimensional story:
  24. there are over 1.6 million muslims in the u.k. they're probably just tricking us by laying low and not killing people.
