  1. they have never stated that they are opposed to the existence of state of israel. your interpretation of "palestinian land" meaning "israel" is bs. the sites are a bunch of smear campaigns. the fact that they have never said they are opposed to the existence of israel is an indication of where they stand. you're not reading carefully and getting all emotional. i used hamas and their charter as an example of where they stand. sure. here is likud's platform: Self-Rule The Government of Israel flatly rejects the establishment of a Palestinian Arab state west of the Jordan river. The Palestinians can run their lives freely in the framework of self-rule, but not as an independent and sovereign state. i'm not going to respond to sites you've provided where they've taken the same bs smearing propaganda you'd expect from the hasbara. i asked you to provide me with information about ISM's platform or statement (like hamas' charter and likud's platform) in regards to israel and you failed.
  2. since the police took money to do illegal activity which involves news of the world, then it's quite reasonable to assume that they could be lying.
  3. it's dumb to try to draw a parallel between the arab rise against the dictators to the guy who blew his head up at the funeral in afghanistan. a lot of the violence we're seeing is perpetuated by the dictators who want to stay in power. this is about dictators trying to resist the uprising of the people. much like past revolutions that have happened in europe and other parts of the world.
  4. what point? spell it out for me.
  5. the above comment is your proof that they are against the existence of israel? how do you expect people to take you seriously when you have such a silly approach to debates? show me where ISM has stated that they are opposed to the existence of state of israel. kind of like how hamas has in their charter that they want to obliterate israel or how the current israeli government has vowed to never allow a palestinian state.
  6. you're right, you didn't make any comments about reagan. it was dancer. you brought yourself into the middle of my talking down to dancer who called reagan a hero who not only shook hands and cuddled with several dictators and terrorist around the world, but he also took direct part in the atrocities by funding, supplying and training them. so dancer? lets talk about your hero.
  7. and a big LOL for linking to idfspokesperson.com
  8. show proof of ISM being opposed to the existence of israel. i'll help you by getting started. here is a link to their site.
  9. trudeau's hand shake with mao is i'm sure as outrageous to you as: nixon shaking mao's hand and reagan ready to embrace and dance with the saudi king, in 1981 and reagan walking hand in hand with philipino dictator, marcos and reagan shaking hands with the dictator, mobutu and reagan and another good buddy, montt, the guatemalan mass murderer and reagan with another terrorist. this time with savimbi, the poster child of human rights abusers from angola and it keeps going. look at the photos above with reagan and company and you tell me what the hand shakes mean. now talk to me about reagan's friendly relationship with dictators and terrorists and his direct involvement in human rights abuses. there is a good chance you will avoid responding to this.
  10. been there, done that. in fact, just a few days ago after my butter chicken meal, an ass canon was created.
  11. to be fair, bob (yes, even though he has called for the ethnic cleansing of palestinians), stated that he thinks the law "is a step in the wrong direction"... then again, he followed it up with another justification by using "arabs societies are worse". but yeah, we have to find some positive.
  12. spare us the violin playing. israel can take care of itself. i rather money be going to programs that save people's lives and to organizations like UNICEF that give children an opportunity to be educated than money going to israel to buy more weapons that end up killing civilians. if you gave that choice to any sane, unbiased person, i'm sure they would prefer $800 million to the UN, rather than $3 billion to israel.
  13. the israeli courts may strike the anti-boycott law down, especially with the huge opposition to it right now. regarding cultural boycotts; the beginning of the end of apartheid south africa started with cultural boycotts. a boycott by the musician/group sends a message to the fans both in israel and brings the issue more into the spotlight.
  14. not much, but the economic boycotts from abroad and from the palestinians have made a major impact on the settlement economy. there is also the increasing cultural boycotts by artists from within israel and from abroad.
  15. shutting down the UN is another way to shut down criticism of israel. that's all they really care about. if they really cared about the taxpayers' money being wasted on these foreign projects, they would say something about the $3 billion a year of welfare money given to israel from the US taxpayers, which is significantly more than what US owes to the UN each year.
  16. there are several organizations within israel that list products to boycott. with this new law, those organizations and anyone else promoting these boycotts can be punished. this law was passed in order to appease the extreme right wing settlement parties within bibi's coalition. without their support, his party would collapse.
  17. ever since bibi has come to power israel is looking more and more like a fascist state: Israel’s interior minister seeks to extend ban on family unification Order stipulates that unification between Israeli citizens and Palestinian partners to be prohibited link
  18. for those keeping score, reagan was directly involved in the deaths and torture of hundreds of thousands of civilians, while, wait for it, trudeau shook hands with mao and had no part in mao's human rights violations. yes. both of you are so ridiculous that you would: a) try to somehow draw a parallel between trudeau shaking hands with a human rights violator to reagan actually having direct involvement with human rights violators. try to excuse reagan's direct involvement in the deaths of thousands of civilians through sponsoring and training terrorist organizations and then call him a hero. i have no problem with criticizing trudeau for not being vocal about human rights and instead looking like he was some star struck fanboy. however, if the person who is criticizing trudeau for shaking hands while calling reagan a hero, who had direct involvement with groups and organizations who committed atrocities in south america, then i have to remind you what a pathetic clown you are and how little worth of credibility you have in your judgement.
  19. your hero sponsored groups and organizations who killed thousands of people in nicaragua, colombia and el salvador. your hero's government was found to be guilty of state sponsored terrorism by the world court. lets not forget the 200,000+ peasants killed by the the guatemalan government which was financed and trained by reagan.
  20. they agree with you? sure. if you also believe that israel's blockade violates human rights laws. again, i'm glad you pointed to the document from ICRC.
  21. i'm glad that you're pointing to a document from ICRC, because this is what the ICRC has said about the blockade. okay, now, stay with me: Israel's blockade of Gaza is a clear violation of international humanitarian law, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has said. Key message The ICRC, a traditionally neutral organisation, paints a bleak picture of conditions in Gaza: hospitals short of equipment, power cuts lasting hours each day, drinking water unfit for consumption. "The whole of Gaza's civilian population is being punished for acts for which they bear no responsibility. The closure therefore constitutes a collective punishment imposed in clear violation of Israel's obligations under international humanitarian law," the agency said in the statement. And the ICRC blames differences between Hamas and the Palestinian Authority for some of Gaza's shortages. But the key message from the body which rarely publicly criticises governments is that Israel's blockade of Gaza must be lifted.
  22. trudeau shaking hands with mao and castro is worse than reagan's role in the state sponsored terrorism. i see what you mean.
  23. which of these 'almost all countries' have been occupying and annexing another group of people's land for over 40 years? which country has created an illegal blockade which even the red cross has called a clear violation of international humanitarian law? which of these countries have been receiving both political and economic support from western countries?
  24. you missed the point again. i am comparing trudeau's relationship with mao, which did not involve any role in mao's human rights abuses to other western leaders' relationships with dictators and their direct roles in the human rights abuses.
  25. i'm glad that you're finally admitting that israel is one of the worst human rights violator. this is a big step for you.
