  1. "Real" credit cards that don't have your name on them are easy to get. It doesn't make sense that anyone would use one with their name on it for that purpose.
  2. Right. That's why so many of them are in therapy. And why the suicide rates are so high. Cock-sure, all of them.
  3. There's a lot of stuff on Google. Lots of people who are not anyone's "golden boy"
  4. But it's not lying if you're allowed to just decide. "Are you a woman?" "I am today"
  5. Never heard of them either. Tell me again how he's a golden boy for the christian right.
  6. I don't think he's anyone's golden boy. I'd never even heard of him until last week. He was on a reality show, and those are all fake. That already tells you all you need to know about how sincere he is.
  7. No mention of Ashley Madison whatsoever in that confession. Certainly nothing that answers what I asked: If he did or didn't do it, it doesn't make sense either way -- why use your real name, your real contact info, why have multiple accounts?
  8. Who would use their own name and/or real information that could be traced back to them for a service like this? What possible reason would there be to have multiple accounts under the same name? It doesn't make sense.
  9. Yup. If someone can just decide what gender they are, why can't they just decide what age they are? I feel younger, so I want to change my birth cert. to reflect that. What? I can't do that? How about if I get a face lift and take HGH and testosterone injections? Come to think of it, dogs are pretty cool. Maybe I'd like to be a dog. Yep, I want to legally change my status from human to dog. You know, because I identify with them.
  10. I agree. The hack of the private information is a crime. Just because "it's already out there" doesn't make it OK to redistribute that private information. It's not OK to receive stolen property under the guise of what's done is done.
  11. Not either/or. Both.
  12. That's a false choice. We have one of the strongest democracies in the world. May does have a voice that is already over-represented in comparison to her seriousness as a candidate of the job of Prime Minister.
  13. Only for the ones who don't live here and don't pay taxes here. By moving away, they're the ones who chose to put Canada on the back-burner. All they have to do is come back home.
  14. It is democratic, and it is fair. No one is being excluded from the democratic process. There's be no point in holding the debate, that would just be a gong show with that many people talking over each other. The "Other debate" is not a bad idea though. Let any party that doesn't meet official party status have their say there. No one is afraid of them. Some people just want to see a composed, serious leaders debate. One where the people who actually have a chance of becoming the next PM can let people know what the people might be getting.
  15. It really is ridiculous. It's time that he started vetting the questions. If you say you're going to ask a question that's already been answered, you're off the list. If you go off script and ask a different question than you said you would, you're off the list.
  16. He's answered the same questions over and over again. He has not avoided anything.
  17. This isn't the "let's hear everyone talk event". It's an election to decide who will govern the next parliament. May is already over-represented in terms of the coverage she gets in comparison to the number of voters it appeals to. If you want full equality and all voices present, you have to include the BQ and the FD, as well as all of the independent MPs. If you do that, you need to include the leaders of all of the minor parties that haven't elected an MP yet. Christian Heritage, Communist, Rhino, Pirate, etc. It would be unmanageable, you have to draw a line somewhere.
  18. Yes. Any time frame is going to be arbitrary. Five years is enough time to find out if whatever you were seeking outside of the country is going to work out for you or not.
  19. They still have that right. All they have to do is re-establish residency so we know what riding they should vote in.
  20. I think a lot more people would identify as libertarian if they knew what it was.
  21. JT voted for C-51.
  22. CBC position on politics: Liberals and NDP steal millions from taxpayers: no problem. Conservatives spend their own money: scandal.
  23. That they published that paper is evidence they aren't as conservative as you think they are.
  24. I see no drift. The topic is reasons to vote conservative. There are lots of them. And many people disagree with them too. It's VERY broad.
  25. Why not? If it's good for the goose...
