I'm shocked that even their stock value went down as much as it did. They gave their customers better cars than the government was allowing them to. They should be rewarded.

Yes, please do look at them, and tell me which one YOU think is worse. -

I'm the one who asked you if you know the difference. If you need my answer, that tells me all I need to know. -

I can. But judging past performance, I'm not so sure you can. -

If one guy makes $30k and owes $100k, and the second guy makes $100k and owes $200k, which one do you think is deeper in debt? -

We never had any of the economic problems that are plaguing other countries around the world. Government revenues are up, taxes are down, jobs are up, exports are up, inflation is down, interest rates are low, debt to GDP is low, the middle class has grown. Under other Prime Ministers, we did have trouble with many of those things. -

Only Ten? It's really hard to keep the list that short. 1) Lowest federal tax burden since the 1950's. 2) 60% increase in healthcare transfers 3) 35% increase in Veterans funding 4) Universal Childcare Benefit 5) Took big money interests out of politics: Eliminated corporate and union funding of political parties, and dramatically reduced the individual maximum donation. 6) Settled over 800 Aboriginal land claims -- more than all previous Prime Ministers combined. 7) Signed 40+ free trade agreements -- more than all previous Prime Ministers combined. 8) Canadian Wheat Board monopoly ended 9) Removed entrenched gender discrimination from the Indian Act 10) Union transparency act. -
So from what i can parse from the articles being written, VW gave their customers a better value than they were legally allowed to. Makes me want to go out and buy one of those cars too.
-
That was my first thought as well: there's some money to be made here, better buy that stock before it recovers.

I've seen a lot of concerts. The best one I've ever seen by far was the Kiss 1996 reunion tour.

What about it? That article is about hair and bite mark analysis. It was DNA that proved the falsely accused's innocence.

They are a shout-filled trainwreck. The only people who want them are people who want the circus. Serious candidates will avoid them, crackpots will insist on them.

You're fooling yourself if you think the Liberals will legalize pot. They're deliberately trying to capitalize on the fact that people don't know the difference between legalization and decriminalization. If you're looking at the Washington State model, you'd be guessing wrong. Very few places that have applied for it have actually been allowed to sell pot.
-
Yes, regulated by the same agency.
-
There are more regulations that that. You can't smoke in any public place. You can't grow it yourself. You can't sell it without a license. You can't take it out of state. You can't buy as much as you want. No edibles are allowed. etc, etc.
-
The article DOES prove what I'm saying. It details all of the ways that pot is controlled, and all of the ways that using, buying or growing it is still completely illegal.
-
Washington state has decriminalized pot. It's still a highly regulated controlled substance.
-
Did you read the rest of the article? The lawmakers don't write the news headlines. Badly written headlines like that are the reason why people mistakenly think that Washington state legalized pot.
