  1. There is no reason to demonstrate anything. Even if it had never happened, that would still be irrelevant. If a bank has never been robbed, they still keep the money in the vault. They still lock the doors at night. Asking for ID to show that you are eligible to vote is the very least we should do, especially since the list of acceptable IDs (and exceptions to them) is so comprehensive. Not expecting people to prove who they are to vote is irrational. If anything, the new proposals are still far too lax.
  2. He's been pretty clear as well. Perhaps you're suffered a head injury and it's affecting your memory?
  3. Obviously not. I just did a really quick scan of this thread and within less than a minute I found four posts that answer the question.
  4. I agree. You continually asking the same questions that have already been answered is getting embarrassing.
  5. Pollievre is the one who ASKED for the Senate's input on the bill.
  6. As usual, you're lying. The changes are VERY minor, and they're all being welcomed by the government.
  7. Asked and answered, just re-read this thread.
  8. If they were underfunding education in BC, you might have a point. Since they are not, you don't.
  9. The majority of the public is just repeating what the MSM told them, most of which is patently false. If what they THOUGHT was in the bill was true, then they'd have a reason to be concerned. Since it isn't, they don't. The Senators proposed some very minor changes, most of those just clarifications of what the bill already says. The things that have the opposition bent out of shape are the parts that are the most important, and absolutely must stay.
  10. Taiwan is China. Republic of China. Their own constitution says their intent is full reunification with The People's Republic of China and Mongolia.
  11. Good thing nobody is attacking public schools in any way then.
  12. Again, and again you ask the same questions that have already been answered. Are you working on a remake of Groundhog Day?
  13. You're asking for a distinction that seldom has a difference. Individual voter fraud is just as likely to be candidate directed.
  14. What "ruler"? The Queen?
  15. Two sides of the same coin, equally important. I'm on the side of democracy and preventing fraud.
  16. It's definitely a dog whistle for CPC supporters. Doing more to stop voter fraud has been consistently raised as something that they really wanted to see for a very long time. It will shore up support (money and votes) among the core, absolutely.
  17. Freedom of choice includes the freedom to decline. Forcing, even coercing, people to vote is anti-democratic.
  18. Qello is a pay service, isn't it? Did you sign up without knowing what it was? (I had no idea what it was when Apple TV added a little while back). What issues did you have?
  19. If Youtube didn't work for you, something is amiss with their setup. It's always rock solid for us, never any issue of any kind. The MBP sports stream Airplay is the only issue I've had of any kind with the AppleTV actually. Everything else just works. The $10/mo UFC service does not include live viewing of the $60 pay per views, but they are all added to the library for later viewing. There doesn't seem to be any set time frame for when they're added. Sometimes the next day, sometimes a week later. So far, always well before the next one at least.
  20. No mumps here, but measles and chicken pox, for sure. Definitely not a big deal at all.
  21. Concerns over safety, testing, side-effects, and efficacy are all very good reasons.
  22. Manitobans have has enough of the NDP and their wasteful spending. Continually giving in to public sector unions is just one of the reasons they are going to be lucky if the even place third in the next election. The damage they've done to education, healthcare, and social services is going to take at least a decade to fix.
  23. My favourite parts are how she actually DID receive the documents she requested, even though it was conclusively shown to her that she wasn't even requesting them from the place where were stored. That "interference" she alleges was the staffers actually doing their jobs -- looking for the documents she wanted, not finding them, and letting her know where she might go to actually find them. Then she sent in the proper request and got what she wanted. The Toronto Star -- "Yeah, we're lying, but it fits the narrative we like to tell."
  24. Most of them would use almost the same wording regarding their right not to vaccinate.
  25. It's cute that you believe that. You're in for a rude awakening. People do not like being extorted.
