Back in the 60's 70's afghanistan was a vibrant place to be,with markets and business's ,it was doing quite well I understand till the russians showed up.

Just like there is no guarantee that the kid that was sent to college on the goverment dime ,stays in college.

All I see here is hate, hate for harper that people would sell us out just to defeat him. Just in todays paper and I have mentioned this before , the money the libs took out of the PS pension fund is going to come back and haunt us, and I understand we are starting to feel the effects of all the money taken from the UI fund. My small town in the ottawa valley with a pop of 8000 ,we had about 750 people at the cenotaph, and the great part was the kids that took part and took their hat off for the anthem and stood for the minute of silence. I agree the plan has to be changed and I think harper will respond. Strogan got the ball rolling , but now I think he is starting to go to far with his critizism. When you (what i hear)constantly scream and threaten to punch out the lights of the minister ,then he is going to far, when that happens things start to go backwards instead of front words.
