There was a canada before trudeau, a canada that was proud and not afraid of a days work, now we are a country of whinners, DEMANDING THIER ENTITLEMENTS, you sir is what is killing this country.

We will see how the NDP federal numbers hold up when mulcair says he is going to cancel the ship building contracts. I know he has not said anything but I am sure he will be against it.

They heard tapping, 5 hrs later they were ordered to quit, I understand they had police stopping the people from going in to get the job done. We all should hold our heads in shame for what happened there.

That is total BS. What do you thing rescuers do? That is what they get paid for? Look at 9/11 ,look when a mine collapes.Look all over the place and the heroics that take place SAVING PEOPLE LIVES. What they have done is a national shame. Heads must roll, starting with the minister in charge, Madeleine Meilleur and then dalton. Meiller was to busy with st bastice day to get invovled, she and staff should have been there on day 1 or 2, not heading up there now. Harper offered the military help, dalton said everything is under control. So everyone that keeps voting lib and the dippers that had a chance to get rid of these fools, thank you very much.

Open Government Not Here... Still Coming...
PIK replied to Michael Hardner's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Open and transparent, I laugh when I hear people talking about that. IMO I don't think any goverment could operate that way and even if mulcair formed a govermnet he to would do the same. It is a joke and getting tired of people complaining about it, it is not ever going to open or transparent, it is immpossible. -
I think he knows that,I am sure he is asking who for what?

McKay- justice? Toews- judge in manitoba? Oda-replaced by Maxime Bernier? Nichols -Public Safety? Chris Alexander- defence.?

Open Government Not Here... Still Coming...

LOL Take a look around the world if you want to see what destroying the eviro is all about. I am getting tired of people blaming harper for every ill going on. If people are really serious about the enviro, then put away the political correctness and tell the truth, over population is killing the planet, but to do that you are going to offend the non white countries that are spitting out kids left and right. And lets get back to cleaning this planet instead of trying to think of new kyotos that do nothing. That is what Ms May did before she started to hang out with the suzuki's of the world. When I 1st heard of her she was out trying to get the halfax tar ponds cleaned up. Did that ever happen. -
Our federal public sector workers are ill!
PIK replied to Fletch 27's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Not saying there is not hard working PS ,but there is alot more that are not. But I am right because they are human and humans abuse everything given to them. I got into it with few of them and they told me( I run a small business) I could not handle the stress, how fucking stupid is that, I don't have thier salary I don't have a pension I don't have any bennifits and one big mistake and I could lose everything. That there told me , he has no idea what is going on in real life and is totally spoiled. If 18000 can take off everyday, then we don't really need them. Or as you say you work with them, maybe you are out to lunch also. -
Ivison: Kiss Supply Management Goodbye
PIK replied to mentalfloss's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I think harper is trying hard to bring everyone together , even his policies that are more to helping out our own ,instead of the way it was before ,helping out the rest of the world (good photo ops). We have native problems, and alot of poor folks, there is so much to do within our own country, so sending billions to the rich euro bankers , no matter how pissed mulcair is ,is not a great idea. -

That is one union out of how many. But all that says is the teachers get what they want. I hang out with PS members and I will tell you why they take so much off, because they can and to them they are entitled to it. Plus family days and community days, they have so much time off they don' t have enough time to take it all off. They are spoiled and it needs to change, ever hear of greece? One more point, doctors do not like goverment and you can get a doctor's note anytime you want, more time off. -
The left sure is scraping the bottom of the barrel. If that is all they have now, is to many pics of harper, then that tells me harper is doing a great job. And who put them up, maybe the people that work for him becasue of how proud they are of him, maybe the libs were the ones that were not to proud of their leader.

It gives people a choice, I would pay more for canadian and I live in farm country and the dairy farmers do very well. They could afford a little cut. IMO. Now austrailia got rid of theirs and has done very very well. -
And lets not forget green energy, look at the countries that bought into the myth of green energy,(ONT included)and you see why some are so broke.

Government job cuts make NO economic sense
PIK replied to Moonlight Graham's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Heard today on the news that on any given day 19000 PS are on sick leave and why, because they can. And I hang out with some, I see it all the time. -

The RCMP is getting drunk on your tax dollars
PIK replied to Rick's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
This is more then having a drink at a bar. http://www.ottawasun.com/2012/06/20/pmo-stands-up-for-their-protector And it also shows how lazy they are getting, being pissed off because the boss makes them do thier job. Time to fire every one that gets into trouble. -
I can't believe what I am reading, some people would burn this place down to spite harper and I would take harper's word on the rule of law on these matters ,then some hatefull lefties on this board. Let me guess ,topaz and the rest probably believe the UN humans rights commision ,that because of the student protests in quebec we are as bad as syria. We have it so good in tghis country , but yet the left is still not happy. What will make the left happy, that we go down with europe. Like they say misery loves company and the canadian left is very miserable.

What I have heard on the radio, that it will be in the customs area and if people are acting suspicious, then the mikes will be on them, but I still don't like the idea. I am sick of the word terrorist. -
