I can’t blame Biden, what can he rely on the Trudeau government for nowadays?  Nothing.

People do things for their friends they don't do for others. They include their friends in things they wouldn't include others in. There are any number of occasions when it would be very, very helpful to this country to be the US's best friend in the world. There are none where we are better off being more distant.

I’m sure the next time we sign a treaty with them, or let their planes land in an emergency, or send some firefighting crews down there, they will call us their BFF and we can be happy again knowing they still love us.
