No, you're wrong. No other sitting government that I can remember put out attack ads when it wasn't election time. No other sitting government sues at the drop of a hat to keep from having to answer questions in the house. No other sitting government answers every question with a ..... but the Liberals answer. No other sitting government has put out a booklet on how to disrupt parliament. No other leader that I have heard has chided his members when they fail to knock down the Liberals in Question Period. No other leader that I have heard of wants to completely decimate another party. This is a mean bully government led by a leader? you say? I call him a pit bull clown. He has brought our politics to new lows never imagined by the populace. And what's scary is that some people (of the same ilk I would say) cheer him on and think it's good.

If there is a choice to be made it will probably go against the people in favour of trade partners and big business.

This is just too hilariously hypocritical. The Cons have no scruples against using people's words out of context and against them. Look at the attack ads they have had made. One more example of do what I say and not as I do.

I believe it is a PM appointment. So how does that explain the RCMP's actions during the last election? It was a deliberate ploy to help oust the Liberals. That was truly outrageous and smacks of eastern bloc tactics.

Mr. Dion, if you became Prime Minister would you form policies around what is good for the majority of Canadians (not the few most prosperous) instead of carrying on the seemingly traditional policies for the benefit of big business (mostly foreign owned) that rape and pillage our country putting very little to nothing back. Canada needs to take it's for sale signs down.

Is it just Liberals that are being critical? Nope. It's security experts. Nothing to do with the Liberals. It's the public (like me). Nothing to do with the Liberals. The pseudo Liberal justification/deflection has no place here. In the hierarchy of importance in levels of government the PMO is first, Defence second, Foreign Affairs, third. So Foreign Affairs would have the third most top level security information/documents in government. How can you honestly not see why security is important.

This has nothing to do with Trudeau, Chretien or slashed budgets. This all too familiar refrain ... but the Liberals... is getting to be monotonous and is used even when there is no connection whatsoever. The Bernier affair is all to do with Steve being caught flat footed and refuses to admit it or correct it. It's not "manly" to back down even if it is to correct something that could have serious ramifications for the whole country. It seems to be their motto to look right rather than to do right - hence all the posturing.

What about the special diplomatic passport she must have had to accompany Bernier overseas? Did she have one? If so she must have been investigated. Did she give it back? If she didn't ... ooops, why not?

According to Harris Decima (as seen on the National last night) Harpers numbers are down: Overall satisfaction with this government: Dec 07 - 53% May 08 - 40% Furthermore, 61% think Harper is doing a bad job re: integrity and 65% think Harper is doing a bad job with accountability. Majority? I think maybe not.

In the slimey way this government works it will find a way (as will their supporters) to either blame the Libs or the media or both.

It doesn't matter what the Liberals have or haven't done. It is to do with here and now and this government is not doing it's job. All this sticking to the script is so they don't have to admit they mishandled this affair. They know they were wrong. And the mindful masses know they were wrong. It doesn't help either our image or our security to have the parrots carry on their script. Canadians should be outraged that a government should be so lax and then so dishonest no matter who is forming the government. Because someone did it before is no argument; in fact it's a condemnation of this government who promised to do it different. So go be a parrot, keep your head in the sand. Next time it might not turn out as well as it did this time.

Those of you who maintain the CPC propaganda line are very short sighted followers. If you think outside your box for a minute you could imagine the ramifications. All I can say is you should quit being an unquestioning follower - the world is comprised of shady doings that you may not see in your sheltered environment but we know it happens. Why put this country in a position where it can?

I think this government should get things right before shooting their mouths off. Of course they bent over backwards to let media file corrections - they are in enough doo doo without this. Are you in with the psychick stylist that will look in her crystal ball and tell you now whether Steve is honest enough to answer honestly?
