Memories...Classic!

I tend to think that it is these common denominators and historical facts that we can appreciate and put emphasis on to avoid giving a voice to extremism on either side.
-
But.....it is good to acknowledge these instead of blaming all... Don't you think?

Great video for our fellow knee jerkers to watch..... If it wasn't for the contribution of these muslims we would be singing 'Deutschland ist über alles' along with some members on this forum....

America under President Trump

Fyi the first EO that was overruled by the court included green card holder nationals, which was so ridiculous...But ofcourse you knew that. -
A lot of critics think of Sean Connery as the true character of James Bond and Roger Moore as a copy cat. Interesting to see that Bond movies even had the influence of an american actor George Lazenby as lead actor in 1978 bond movie on her majesty's secret service. That to cover the gap between Sean Connery and Roger Moore in Diamonds are forever....

US tourism has declined considerably thanks to Trump. Rest assured if it is gonna hurt the businesses further he will get thumb down. Money talks... -
So what their number is increasing in Canada? Are you going to blame every single muslim in Canada for the actions of one person? I am bemused why no one realises such rhetorics is what groups like ISIS are hoping for to create a rift. and btw how can any sane person call this war on terror whilst Trump just signed a $110bn arms contract with sunni wahabi Saudi Arabia??? There is no limit to hypocrisy....

America under President Trump

Trump can only exercise his power as POTUS to a certain degree. He is not above the law and courts can overturn his orders. It is embarrassing to see a president causing so much mayhem and in a tounge and cheek war with literally every multinational IT company in silicon valley over his silly travel ban. -
You still don't get it.... the motive of this deranged individual is being politicised...and it's being played right in the hands of ISIS and the likes. That's what they want. Glorifying heros...I can't be more vocal...

There is another thread about Trump. Feel free to post there. It has nothing to do with this topic.

Islam like any other religions has its short comings especially when it is politicised to a great degree in this day and age. My point of contention was and remains that exercising the focus on drawing attention to these individuals is what extremists in ISIS and other groups want. They are rubbing their hands on to get attention. And frankly our media in the West is literally handing it to them on silver plate IMHO.
-
Far from it...I blame the media to the same extent for making these guys a hero by identifying them.
-
Your selective hearing and judgement is astonishing....No one in the mind is condoning his actions.

What happened in Manchester is quite tragic and demonstrates an issue with home grown terrorism. I think there is an issue the way media reports to a certain extent for publicising details of these terrorists thereby glorifying their actions and recruiting more volunteers. Instead of mentioning their names media should focus on the deluded and deranged individual who committed these atrocities... Mentioning his name will only give the likes of him more popularity sadly with more extremists joining forces. There is a degree of islamophobia in the West because of the events unfolding. Media has its own share of blame in the way it reports. Blaming me all Muslims for the actions of these individuals will only inflame hatred and achieve animosity towards muslims which is the objective of extremists on both sides.

Trump is a businessman...he doesn't give a hoot about poor human rights nor to SA's notorious affiliations to ISIS, Boko Haram Al Qaeda. This whole "show trial" by Trump with a gesture towards saudi king is nothing but just usual rhetorics to the mullahs in Iran and pleasing certain mouthpiece in that area... Notice in his press conference in Israel he made a reference to Iran not being a danger to Israel but to the whole world...(allegedly after signing a $110bn with saudi arabia) Something that Bibi pathetically failed to emphasise and has affected his popularity miserably. The thing that is very hypocritical is for America to let these savage wahhabi sunni groups to show their military muscles through these deals but if Iran exercises the right to carry out military exercises for her defense in the region then it is subject to criticism and scrutiny...It is these short sighted policies blinded by arms deals that breeds more extremism and religious and sectarian violence and inevitably forms of terrorism by wahabism ideology across Europe and elsewhere. -
It is worth noting that this genital circumcision is not widely practised in Shia version as I could't find any reference. However, male circumcision in widely practised in judaism and islam.... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_male_circumcision Male circumcision practised as a religious rite is found in texts of the Hebrew Bible, as part of the Abrahamic covenant, such as in Genesis 17, and is therefore practised by Jews, Muslims, and some Christians, who constitute the Abrahamic religions. Some rabbinical sources indicate that even before the covenant of Abraham, the aposthia of Shem may have been an inspiration for circumcision; though the aposthia of Shem is not specifically mentioned in the Genesis text.[9][10]

Can you cite to support your claim that "Muslim countries were Christian before Islam invaded"!? -
The events that led to both world wars are in the history books to remind us Betsie. Now....I thought it is clear that reading many news coming out about North Korea makes the situation in that region very volatile. It is very naive to think that NK would attack any other country including the US. However, should the US decide to unilaterally attack NK unprovoked on behalf of her allies Japan and South Korea that may trigger a response and escalate the war involving regional powers China snd possibly Russia. Based on the events that let to both World Wars one doesn't have to go through that experience to understand the consequences of such a move....
-
I already hinted how the previous world wars started by dragging other countries into the conflict.....

These guys mean business

War would be crazy if we have never learned from two world wars..... Start storing tins in your cupboards....
