  1. Apparently this particular crew has been suspeneded from his job with guess what? The named american airline apologises for such behaviour.
  2. Reality is their service is getting pooere every year. And btw not getting paid enough is no excuse for such behaviour. You don't like this job go and get another.... It gets on my nerve when such a behaviour by crew members gets blamed on low salaries. If airliners are making profit at the expnese of their statt that's not customers problem, who are paying for the service...
  3. Care to explain what you mean by this? You are using the word 'historically' as if there was a land called Israel a millenium ago..... The problem with your argument is that when you use such a vague statement then your question about Israel's right yo exist becomes laughsble. People who read your statement have the right to question the credibility of your knowledge of the region....But in your head you have this fixed template that your vague statement above is correct and therefore legitimises the question for Israel to exist. Well it doesn't....,
  4. That has been the mission of ISIS and extremists in US to push harder and blame one amother. Unfortunately the moderate are the ones trapped in between these zealout lots telling us. 'I told you so'
  5. Well trains are no better IMO. Getting back to this story being packed like a sardine is one story bwing blatantly rude towards a customer and raise a hand on a woman is another. I don'y care where this shmugg comes from but I would knock him down if I see him treat a woman with child like that. there is a degree of professionalism from the staff to be maintained. Ffs they get PAID for offering a service and being courteous. It's not a charity! What this guy has done brings into question the whole training procedure to create the myth airliners ate so proud of. Creating customer experience....
  6. Stand corrected. Just another American Airline.
  7. Looks like these idiots never seem to have learned their lesson.... Just two weeks after terrifying video of a bloodied United Airlines passenger who was violently kicked off a flight for refusing to give up his seat went viral, another video has emerged showing an American Airlines employee challenging a passenger to hit him after a woman holding a baby was allegedly hit with her stroller in an argument with airline staff. Obviously this bold guy who us a crew cabin member is not fit to hold this job given his thuggish attitude. Raising a hand on a woman is just wrong. A staff member of Amwrican Airlines doing this raises many questions about the future of this airliner. This kind of behaviour cannot be tolerated anywhere and they should be ashamed. This is an excerpt from the article: "OMG! AA Flight attendant violently took a stroller from a lady with her baby on my flight, hitting her and just missing the baby. Then he tried to fight a passenger who stood up for her. AA591 from SFO to DFW. What’s going on with these American Carriers???" https://www.google.co.uk/amp/jalopnik.com/american-airlines-employee-allegedly-hit-woman-with-str-1794552514/amp
  8. It makes perfect sense what he says... Religious leaders use religion as a tool to push their agenda. They ate like the good old Mafia back in old Italy where religion is used as a disguise for corruption. Just like the mafia some muslim leaders according to him are using religion to pursue their own agendas which is different from what that religion should be.
  9. I would go as far as saying that whatever reformation the anglican church experienced in the Middle Ages Britain is what we are witnessing to a certain extent in the Middle East today. It will take time....
  10. I agree that the devoutness and enthusiasm of europeans to Christianity is minimal atmost but do not share the same sentiment for americans....I think americans do take christianity very seriously to the point of fanatism just like some muslim countries. But don't you think you get the same thing with other religions? I mean someone of judaic faith can also be a moderate or nor religious or ultra orthodox.
  11. Bye Bye Billie. Au revoir, Tchau. Good riddance! Never liked him and about time to see the last of that smug face on Fox....
  12. Pessimism and realism are too different things meeting at different ends IMO. If I am facing a major challenge in my life I would rather show a positive attitude than be miserable git and moan how gloomy things are..... Realistically, people with positivity have a better chance to overcome obstacles...Just saying.....
  13. I personally don't think it has anything to do with religion. Yes there are those fanatics and unfortunately the spotlight is on muslims these days that use the religion for tge end game. However, my point of contention is with those who use the religion in the context to divide people into those who can assimiliate into the canadian culture and those who cannot. This is quite a dangerous path and prescriptive for excluding non judeo/christians ftom being a canadian just because tgey don't belong to that category. Why can we not have a system to identify good from bad apples instead of resorting to such divisive tactics that incites xenophobic tendencies against other groups?
  14. I am just trying to emphasise that the cultures of the Far East or atleast Japanese that I am familiar with are very homogenous. There are not that many foreigners especially in smaller towns. There is nothing wrong with having photos taken or asking many questions. It was just new to me. I love these people but personally would not want to live there permanently. It's just a matter of choice...
  15. Democracies and change din't happen over night. This is the mistake West undertook when trying to install a western style democracy into Iraq that quite frankly took several centuries to develop in Europe....
  16. The reality is no direct attack had yet been taken place against their neighbour... Look we can sit here and talk for hours the rational for attacking NK. But the point that you keep making missing here is tge stakeholders involved (i.e. China) Any unprovoked attack against a sovereign nation like NK by the west will escalate the crisis. On the other hand I can see why US cannot neglect an ally like South Korea or Japan...Us needs them to counter balance the influence of China. Reality is if there is anything we have learned from two world wars is to not let it happen again. And all this sabre rattling is not helpful quite frankly. Diplomacy, dimplomacy, diplomacy.
  17. Granted. I am not disputing that it is a repressive regime. But it is not the NK's Economy we are questioning here. Military might provides the means for survival. This guy Jon Kim may be crazy but he is not stupid to realise that having a nuclear capability and support from Peking will provide him with a carte blanche to act in a way to show americans don't mess with us. We are not Iraq nor Libya. So far whatever we have seen from this guy is a show of defiance but no direct threats on their neighbours. The Chinese know this and are playing this well against the West.
  18. I think you misunderstood I didn't say I wanted to change the hapanese culture to accomodate mine. I am just not accustomed to it. I did like every little detail from the punctuality of their Shinkanzen to their hot springs, karaoke sessions and peace and tranquiility and beauty of their landscape. I guess the bit that was alien to me was having my photo taken by japanese girls who were not used to see many foreigners followed by a series of questions about what I liked or disliked about japanese culture. I don't think anyone is asking about changing Canada to suit foreigners. I just find it a bit racist when someone posted here earlier that Canada is for judeo/ christians as if religion is the determinent factor of who belongs to the "club"...
  19. Nevertheless, it seems this makes a rational for DRPK having nuclear capability as this will make them deterrent. Iraq and Libya didn't have the capability and look what happened to them.
  20. Which brings me to my point that China can use North Korea as a leverage against the US. Heightening the tension in that region will escalate into total all out war. A nightmare scenario the US must avoid at all costs IMO.
  21. My point of reference were the two countries benefiting from doing business with the US namely China and Russia...I said the US is also benefiting from this. Kim Jong business is to serve China and at the moment there is nothing stopping China to support him as is South Korea and Japan paying their due diligence to US to support them militarily against North Korea...
  22. So far you are the only one who has said this but do carry on... There is nothing wrong with preserving one's own cultural identity. The problem arises as one only wants to defines themselves with a certain group or religion. That's what I have difficulty to fathom. Spent six months in Japan for work and must say I cannot see myself living there because there is no sense of individuality. Everything is attributed to teams and group work. But I do admire them for what they have achieved in their country without having to rely on foreign workers. The West is not the same. We relied for too long on immigration and countries like US reaped and are still reaping the benefits. As for Saudi Arabia no I don't wish to live there. But is that what it comes down to? Compare Canada with Saudi Arabia? Really!? On another note it never stopped the West from doing business with this despicable regime.
  23. Here we go. As soon as one is presented with counter argument then the other party is blamed for being a lefty. Don't you kind of think you are doing the same thing here by labelling people and shutting them down?
  24. I think it is wrong to be judgemental the way you are. By saying Canada belongs to people from Judeo/Christians you are saying it is ok to have jews, Christians but it is not ok to have hindus, japanese, chinese, muslims etc. That is utterly and blatantly a racist view. I am not ok with people with criminal records crossing the border. I believe in a fair system that treats criminals as they are regardless if they are muslims, jews or christians! It is absolutely absurd to define people by their religious identity...
  25. I think the notion of making Canada only for white Christians and now according to you Judaism as well is very selective and insulting to others who are equally Canadians....
