"i was laughing at it. i was willing to prove and ready to prove that this was a joke and i was wrong..." "i would have said anything to make it stop."

bush_cheney continues to tell us it's not torture. he says it's nothing more than getting your head flushed just like he used to in school. but what happens when someone who believes the same thing goes and actually experiences waterboarding? this happens: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vE6fsn_c644

i don't really see this more than the manufacturing of consent. most of these people are extremely ignorant and this is why they are easily influenced. as it can also be seen in radical islam as well, religion can be molded into whatever you want and pretty much anything can be sold as acceptable and for the good of your group. even torture which goes against the true message of christianity (or islam or judaism)

so you reduce yourself to a DoP type response. he does the same thing when he can't counter facts. DoP has been shown to be a hypocrite for proudly declaring himself to be an atheist when he supports the creation of a jewish state. you have come in here and have failed to counter that point. i suppose all you two have left are useless posts like above.

the UK does not give automatic citizenship to those who are christian. bad comparison. do christians receive special real estate privileges in the UK as opposed to those who are not christian? bad comparison, again. does the UK call itself a christian state? not really. but israel, formally defines itself as a "jewish state". your attempt to show similarity between the two, failed.

i'm not sad for the tamil group. i don't support any group or organization that is okay with killing or terrorizing civilians in order to achieve a goal. i am, however, sad that you're promoting a type of policy that has killed millions of innocent people. a type of policy that has failed a lot more than it has succeeded.

if you call yourself an atheist and you support a state that caters to a specific religious group, you're as confused as an anti-abortionist who supports an abortion clinic. are you trying to say that all countries outside of israel in the middle east practice stoning to death? this is your reason for supporting israel? you are incorrect. if you're a muslim or a christian, you do not receive automatic israeli citizenship. you also do not receive special monetary help to move to israel. if you're a muslim israeli and you try to get a house permit or purchase land in israel, you will hit a dead end. this is not the case if you're jewish.

to be fair, there are many american christians who are not hypocrites: NRCAT - National Religious Campaign Against Torture In January 2006, NRCAT introduced a statement of conscience titled "Torture is a Moral Issue." Since then, over 25,000 people have added their support to the statement. The text has appeared in advertisements, including on the op-ed page of the New York Times. We invite you to add your support by signing the statement today. "Torture is a Moral Issue" Statement of Conscience Torture violates the basic dignity of the human person that all religions, in their highest ideals, hold dear. It degrades everyone involved -- policy-makers, perpetrators and victims. It contradicts our nation's most cherished ideals. Any policies that permit torture and inhumane treatment are shocking and morally intolerable. NRCAT's definition of torture is the same as that contained in the United Nations Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, which defines torture as "any act by which severe pain or suffering, whether physical or mental, is intentionally inflicted on a person for such purposes as obtaining from him or a third person information or a confession, punishing him for an act he or a third person has committed or is suspected of having committed, or intimidating or coercing him or a third person, or for any reason based on discrimination of any kind, when such pain or suffering is inflicted by or at the instigation of or with the consent or acquiescence of a public official or other person acting in an official capacity. It does not include pain or suffering arising only from, inherent in or incidental to lawful sanctions." Nothing less is at stake in the torture abuse crisis than the soul of our nation. What does it signify if torture is condemned in word but allowed in deed? Let America abolish torture now -- without exceptions.

according to this self-proclaimed christian, jesus would have OK'd torture: It’s likely even Jesus would have OK’d water boarding if it would have saved his Mom. He would’ve done the same to save his Dad, or any one of His disciples. For that matter, He even died to save all humans. this stuff is laugh out loud.

how is that black and white world of yours doing? your iron fist must be pounding pretty hard on your computer desk right about now. you put all the vampires to shame with your thirst for blood. didn't the nazi government declare some jews to be terrorist groups and/or guerilla groups? didn't they do the same to the ukrainians? how much did russia hold back while attacking afghanistan?

i'm preaching for international law. if you want to make excuses too, go for it. -
i thought you agreed with OB that if you're going to insult, make it a good one and not some low-browed pee joke.

you're making excuses again and showing your blatant disregard for international law. you've already shown how you react to other groups who have broken international law. it's too bad you don't apply the same discontent to this zionist regime. it was illegal then and it is illegal now. at least a military outpost can be seen as "temporary", whereas these illegal settlements are more than likely permanent. ..and who cares if no one lived there 20/30 years ago. the land is not israel's and what they're doing is illegal. -
bc thinks waterboarding is like when his head was dunked into the urinals. this conservative radio show host probably thought the same thing before he tried: heh.

what does that even mean? why bring up canada? was that some kind of a blink, smile and give a ridiculous DoP style response? how can you be okay with receiving less of your tax money than an israeli citizen is receiving? how long have you been okay with getting bent over and pounded really hard by your government and the ones holding the leash, like AIPAC? oh don't worry, you're also receiving the burden of the smile and nod support. you're receiving less security and a collapsing infrastructure. no problem. i'm a citizen of the world. -

here is another article about iranian jews which you will not like to see: Iran's Jews spurn cash lure to emigrate to Israel ran's Jews have given the country a loyalty pledge in the face of cash offers aimed at encouraging them to move to Israel, the arch-enemy of its Islamic rulers. The incentives - ranging from £5,000 a person to £30,000 for families - were offered from a special fund established by wealthy expatriate Jews in an effort to prompt a mass migration to Israel among Iran's 25,000-strong Jewish community. The offers were made with Israel's official blessing and were additional to the usual state packages it provides to Jews emigrating from the diaspora. However, the Society of Iranian Jews dismissed them as "immature political enticements" and said their national identity was not for sale. "The identity of Iranian Jews is not tradable for any amount of money," the society said in a statement. "Iranian Jews are among the most ancient Iranians. Iran's Jews love their Iranian identity and their culture, so threats and this immature political enticement will not achieve their aim of wiping out the identity of Iranian Jews." The Israeli newspaper Ma'ariv reported that the incentives had been doubled after offers of £2,500 a head failed to attract any Iranian Jews to leave for Israel.

more drivel. how about an article from bbcnews to kick your ass: "Whatever they say abroad is lies - we are comfortable in Iran - if you're not political and don't bother them then they won't bother you," he explains. His customer, middle-aged housewife Giti agrees, saying she can easily talk to her two sons in Tel Aviv on the telephone and visit them. "It's not a problem coming and going; I went to Israel once through Turkey and once through Cyprus and it was not problem at all," she says. Gone are the early days of the Iranian revolution when Jews - and many Muslims - found it hard to get passports to travel abroad. "In the last five years the government has allowed Iranian Jews to go to Israel freely, meet their families and when they come back they face no problems," says Mr Mohtamed. He says there is also a way for Iranian Jews who emigrated to Israel decades ago to return to Iran and see their families. "They can now go to the Iranian consul general in Istanbul and get Iranian identity documents and freely come to Iran," he says. The exodus of Jews from Iran seems to have slowed down - the first wave was in the 1950s and the second was in the wake of the Iranian Revolution. Those Jews who remain in Iran seem to have made a conscious decision to stay put. "We are Iranian and we have been living in Iran for more than 3,000 years," says the Jewish hospital director Ciamak Morsathegh. "I am not going to leave - I will stay in Iran under any conditions," he declares.

so did many other jews from other countries. they left because it's a jewish state that gives special privileges to jews. not to mention the monetary compensation offered to a jew who immigrates to israel. so what you're saying is that Iran allows travel to israel. thanks for shoving your own foot in your mouth. the jews in iran have been offered a pretty good compensation to move to israel, but many, even though they're able to immigrate to israel, have decided to remain in iran. what does that tell you about iran and its views on jews? i'm curious, how much do you know about travel restrictions or immigration restrictions for muslims to israel? or is that the sort of topic that you don't like to talk about? this post is another reminder that facts keep kicking your ass.

guess who is paying for the zionist's agenda which is the 'greater israel'? answer: you are, american. about $3 billion a year, in case you didn't know. -
that islam, in general, is tolerant towards judaism and christianity. it's zionism that they seem to have a problem with. so what's your point?

in whose eyes? in all of our eyes. israel is a signatory to international law. that's what hitler said. the UN condemned canada for what? did canada annex U.S. land and then moved fanatical religious zealots to settle there? dub
