No Wonder the Israeli's attack the Palestinians!
dub replied to wulf42's topic in The Rest of the World
oh? they agreed to the partition border? that's a lie. your comments does not change the fact that around 20% of israel's military comes from the U.S. without it, they wouldn't have their F16 and the apache. really? what about their military presence every else in the middle east? israel gives no advantage to the U.S. they already have major presence around the mediterranean like in turkey. they also have many other bases throughout the middle east. also, it's not like israel gives the U.S. a resource advantage like countries like saudi and kuwait do. israel is a disadvantage both economically and in security. -

egypt has received over $50billion in aid from the U.S. since 1975. don't you think that's enough to buy cooperation from a dictator? -
ipod and MS are not necessarily the best products in their industry, but they're the most widely used. without the advertising money, they wouldn't be where they are. money from the special interest groups drive U.S. politics. this is politics 101. not sure why it needs to be discussed at length. obama could not be where he is without the backing of the special interest groups. in order to get the backing, he'd have to agree to a lot of their demands. "i" only see the surface? heh. who did you vote for? obama or mccain? bush or kerry? him or him? 1st choice or 2nd choice? the process is different but the end result is the same. you get to choose who they've put in front of you. will you make me repeat that again? ----- so what? mousavi disagrees with a lot of ahmadinejad's policies as well. both domestic and foreign. only one of two people are elected in every election.

are you being sensitive about the word usage? way to dodge again. it's not a surprise that one of south africa's main allies was israel during the apartheid years. -

they didn't accept the border (the major part of the plan). therefore, they didn't accept the partition. stop trying to reject the obvious. more than 20% of israel's military is made in the U.S. like the F16 and the apache's which israel uses often. that would be a pretty huge dent, don't you think? lol. c'mon now. how is giving israel $3billion a year + spending all the money in iraq saving U.S. money? if you want to be taken seriously, you should refrain from comments like that. israel has been a U.S. welfare handout for far too long. -

i guess there were people during the south african apartheid years who defended the south african government's treatment of the blacks too. -

you're not debating, Bonam. pretty much everything you wrote was a lie. -

you lie as well krusty. i never said "Israel immediately rejected Partition". either show this comment i made or STFU. i said israel rejected the partition because they rejected the border outlined $3 billion comes in military aid. many of the weapons used by israel is made in the US. i also mentioned the political support that israel receives from the AIPAC friendly US government. not to mention fighting israel's wars, like the iraq war. without US' mothering of israel, israel would flop. US is israel's viagra. -

israeli citizens receive more of the US tax money than american citizens do. that's kind of weird, no? i guess it's yours and jbg's decision to set the bar low by comparing the treatment of other religious and ethnic groups to the countries listed. perhaps people will forget how muslims are treated in western countries. maybe they'll forget that they're treated as equals, unlike in israel. what the heck are you going on about? not sure where you get your information, but that's wrong. israel ranks extremely low in aid to the palestinians. not to mention all the destruction they continue to create. just look at what they did in gaza recently. not to mention paralyzing the economy by their many actions. wrong again, mr. wrong man. they increased the settlements in the west bank even faster. where do you think the extremist gaza settlers went after they were taken out of gaza? wtf? lol. palestinian population density = 645 persons/km2 israeli population density = 324/km2 do you have any shame? lol. did you miss the one about the increasing settlements and the internationally recognized annexation of palestinian land? who is this clown? you're just a big fuckup. how is it that you were able to post so much misinformation in one post? wow. you've made DoP and dancer look good. -
what's taking place is very interesting to observe from the outside. this is the first 21st century revolution i've witnessed. technology is being used to the max. social networking sites like facebook and youtube are being heavily used to spread articles and videos from the protests taken by mobile phones and digicams. twitter is being used to spread the word about the protests and meet up places.

you keep missing the point i am making. i never said ron paul didn't get to go on tv or be heard. i said that the end result is the same. in U.S. one of two candidates always wins. candidates who are heavily influenced by special interest groups. in iran, one of 4 candidates always win. candidates who are heavily influenced by special interest groups. if majority of the special interest groups are not behind you, you will not get a shot at being the president. do you disagree with that?
-
US is being very careful in how they respond to this situation. the EU has already started responding and they're mainly against ahmadinejad. i guess no one really knows how this will turn out.
-
i sure hope they don't shoot rubber coated bullets and kill people and blame it on the protesters. hopefully they don't start demolishing homes and bombing houses against the protest.

since when did US start giving canada $3billion of your tax money every year? sometimes you get really silly with your comparisons. -

dub replied to wulf42's topic in The Rest of the World
are you seriously comparing israel to those countries (even though iran has the second highest jewish population in the middle east)? saying that because they do it, it's okay for israel to do it as well? why not compare israel to the western countries like US and canada who don't put a restriction based on religion? -
the process may be different, but at the end, guys like ron paul or ralph nader will not win. don't you agree with that? barack seems like a genuinely nice and caring guy who wants the best for the american people but in order for him to reach where he has reached, he would have had to agree to play by the rules. the type of money he was able to raise came with conditions set by the special interest groups. same goes with a recent past president in iran like khatami. a genuinely nice and caring guy but he had to play by the rules. don't you agree with that? i agree that we have a lot more freedom than the iranians do and i never disputed that. my comment was towards the debate about who has the opportunity to be the president of each country. at the end of it all, the americans and the iranians will choose those who have been put in front of them. because a nader or a ron paul or a ali nasiri or a (insert iranian name here) will not become the president.

israel would flop without the political and economic support from the U.S. -
besides a democrat or a republican nominee, can anyone else win the presidency in the US? besides the hand picked nominee by the clerics, can anyone else win the presidency in Iran? the end result is the same; you get to choose between who we give you.

this just in! bibi has accepted the creation of a palestinian state! note: no military. no control of airspace. no freeze on the settlements. lol. -
we will have to see how long this burning passion will continue. here are some visuals that will give a glimpse into what is happening in tehran: photos: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/bahramks/RiotsInTehran# videos: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=ahrima...os&start=60

the nuclear program will continue no matter which candidate is elected. that's the only way they were able to become candidates. khamenai and rafsanjani (who is backing mousavi) have the power behind closed doors. khamenai has control over the basij and to a certain extent, iran's military, while rafsanjani (and his sons) have a lot of business interests. iran's young population is excited about this election. mousavi is being sold as iran's obama, while ahmadinejad is being sold as the maverick whose number 1 agenda is protecting iran pride and dignity. change in iran will not happen overnight. it will happen slowly and through international trade. this could be a good opportunity considering obama's apparent willingness to talk and flexibility and mousavi's repeated promise to be open to change. maybe khamenai and rafsanjani have realized that they can no longer stop the momentum in iran (since the death of khomeni) and the more they try to push the iranian people and squeeze them, the more chance they will lose power.

lols. unlike you, i only have so much time to waste. you've taken your ridiculousness to DoP's level and i really can't be bothered anymore. looking forward to your nonchalant posts. chinchin. -

huh? i have never said that palestinian women have it good or their rights are up to par. it's just that they have the opportunity to vote and you said otherwise and i corrected you. distracting from the point that you made a mistake is called dodging. i already told you that there is no need to drag this any further before, yet you keep digging your own hole. you just make yourself look bad. -

lols. okay buddy. we all make mistakes. people will think less of you if you keep denying it rather than just admitting you made a mistake. it's a good thing you don't care what people think, eh? *wink wink* -

dub replied to dub's topic in The Rest of the World
i thought it was already established that you made a mistake. either your pride is getting in the way of admitting the truth or your memory. let us recap and see who is being dishonest: - i made a comment about women's right to vote - you decided to falsely claim that palestinian women are not able to vote - i corrected you and you were taught that palestinian women are able to vote here are the quotes: dub: some movements take time. if my math is 'good', women were not able to vote for a lot longer than 60 years. bc2004: Tell us what else Palestinian woman still can't do...you walked right into that one. you want to keep denying the obvious? go ahead. it's your right to look ridiculous like DoP does quite often.
