  1. Randy, I can't prove you wrong, who could. I don't believe what you're saying about adultry, whoring around for a minute. Tolerated? by who, the divorce courts? And would you have a relationship with someone you know to be of that type of character, would you tolerate your spouse "whoring" around' Thought not. Tolerate is a big word. even bigger when the user may well have to live up to it.
  2. Right on WB, I recoil at the sight of the country's name on their sign. All our money spent on yet another Liberal folly to save us from high gas prices. I'll drive by three of their stations to buy gas from one of others. And I buy only gas from any of them
  3. Yep. if you have any excess cash left become an investor/speculator, might as well become part of the economy's problem.
  4. LOL, Well said benny. A smile like the guy who just sold you a really used car or a house with no foundation.
  5. Hey now, your post seems to say that adultry ," whoreing" around is OK, sorry, not in my world. We do agree that legal activity in private between adults is non of our business. Didn't call you morally disturbed, read the words again, slower this time.
  6. After Dion a three legged alligator would look good to Quebecers. The Convenient Canadian is too unpalatable, he's a legend in his own mind that after 30 some years has found his homeland and a nice pension for mad money. I am not sure if we'll vote again, but I can't wait for the sparks to fly. Maybe we'll give another kick at the Conservative can.
  7. Polygamy, incest, pedophilia, all against the law and I would say rightly so. Can't remember how far back but homosesexual acts were against the law too. That too has changed and rightly so. IMHO what consenting adults legally do in private is non of my concern. I can remember back to `99 when the feds voted overwhelmingly to protect the traditional man/woman definition of marriage. The loud mouth Liberal deputy PM shouted "we will defend the traditional definition of marriage `till hell freezes over". The Liberal party went downhill from there. I don't believe that anybody "equates" polygamy to homosexuality. For a lot of folks the definition of marriage restructuring was perhaps the brightest signal that changes were in our societial future, and not good ones at that.
  8. Lets put it to a public vote melanie, what is the true definition of marriage? And Randy, your apparent sense of morality is disturbing to say the least.
  9. LOL, That is the part of your post that makes perfect sense.
  10. A wake up call for what?, that a person can become a nutcase? I take a whole lot of comfort in your babble, gosh, if the registry would've been in place, that massacre wouldn't have happened.
  11. Hey, I'm no expert but it has been often quoted as saying that homosexuality is wrong. Now we have people saying that their religion sz more than one wife is hunky-dory. And I've just read that three countrys , France, Spain and ?, say incest is OK too. LOL,The world is going to hell in a hand basket and PT it may have started when they trashed the definition of marriage.
  12. What does it all matter? Competition, if there ever truly was any, has suffered another blow. The oil/gas/broker/speculator cabal is just gearing up for another ratchet session in pricing. Yoiu know, 3 clicks up, 1 back, repeat , repeat, repeat. They are in part responsible for the current financial maladies, and appear untouchable.
  13. The RCMP knew the perp was a nutcase with guns. And do you think anything qould have turned out differently if the guns were registered? Three LEOS were just killed in Oakland Calif. The perp had an AK47, registration would have stopped that tragedy too, right? And the same for those unfortunates in Montreal years ago, registered or not the results would have been the same.
  14. #1, LOL our economy is in the dumpster, our education and health care systerms are swamped, job losses are skyrocketing. And we're talking about keeping people like this here? Sorry folks, clean it out and lock the gate.
  15. The gun registry is typical Liberal BS. A monumental waste of money, we could destroy every civilian gun in the country and the perps would still get/have them. I find it amazing that supposedly intelligent pepople can't get their heads around that fact. As for the LEO's, they have to enter each situation as though someone is armed with some kind of weapon, it's common sense. I'm not a huge fan of Harper, but score one for him.
  16. Yep, those scuzzbags are responsible for the slaughter of, as I understand it, 4000 mostly innocent dogs. That alone dosen't get our vote. Never mind the 4' long Pinnochio nose. We bought cards to nominate a PC candidate in the last election, the process was foul beyond belief. Hope it's better organised the next time.
  17. Don't forget that ol' Petey is a Liberal, probably tired of seeing his beloved party rightfully getting a payback. In all fairness, over the years there's been a lot of bitter pills going back and forth, it's the nature of the beast. But after all the garbage the Libs pulled off they deserve what they get, and more.
  18. Grrrr. I hate cable as it is. So much garbage that I pay for and don't watch, or in the case of the 3-4 French channels, can't understand. We're next door to Toronto, sure would like to know if anyone is successfully using some kind of antennae. I'd be outside with my cable cutters.
  19. KI is smokin' the weed again. Voted Liberal all our lives but the lying/cheating/ stealing and social engineering got the best of us. Not a huge fan of Harper but he's the lessor of evils, time to get out the chequebook and door knocking shoes. Its vote for the Cons or nobody else.
  20. All right now, it's sock it to `im time. Lets line him up, the Convenient Canadian. Can't wait to see/hear what the brainiac has said/done is his 30+ years outside the "country that I love". This should be good, like the Liberal stratigest said, time for the beer and popcorn.
  21. LOL, I live a sheltered life, don't know a soul who uses that crap. So it's against the law, suck it up, you want to be a doper, pay the price.
  22. Good one r-t-e. The Vancouver debacle shows the world how badly a situation can be handled. One of those four LEOs should have had the intelligence to assess the situation and quickly come up with a plan of action. Something simple like an announcement on the P/A looking for someone to speak Polish, before they went in there. Hell, they more than likely would have come up with the poor guy's mother.
  23. JD I didn't catch the whole blurb but one of the news anchors was saying the budget had to be passed by a certain date or the 3bil would end up in a slush fund with absolutely no accountability. And I for one would love to see an election, LOL, it's mean out here, who would get the majority?
