Of course they do, how can they not. If you got a mortgage would the bank ever say,"you don't have to pay it off", what makes them US so special were you think they don't have to pay it off?

They only way it will ever be payed off is with new money which will just exasperate the problem even more.

He still took you country to war with out the approval of your people. Did people not own houses under a gold standard...as for the other stuff, how do you know what would of been invented had your country stayed on a gold standard. But it isn't fair when countries can print money to service the debt which hurts the people.

If your president can take your country to war with out the approval of the people then he is a king, Obama is a king. Define stuff. Debt isn't some sort of privilege, it is a burden.

Oil demand falls with a weakening economy which brings down its price. Gold and silver go up when governments pump the market full of currency. Since the global economy is slumping and the only weapon central banks have is to pump money into the market, i'll assume they will do that again to prop the economy back up. Gold and silver are bound to go up.

Yes, that is a very good attribute to have, too bad only a few people have it now. Governments can become very dangerous, that is to say that they are easily corruptible. I believe the founding fathers of America knew this and that is why they setup their political and economic system the way they did, they made full of fail-safes. America was designed to be a constitutional republic, now they don't follow the constitution and their Federal government has gotten so large and powerful it that their republic is dying. All Ron Paul is saying is they should follow the Constitution, why do so many people think that is such a bad idea. I think this is in part why Paul gets no media coverage. Big government, corporations and banks benefit greatly from having a fiat currency, they need the easy credit to survive. They aren't going to put someone on TV that is a threat to them. The worst part is all the debt, taxes and inflation associated with fiat currencies are hurting the middle class the most and they don't even realize it. Random stat, people say he is not electable but I think if the media let him say his message then he would easily get elected. Even when the media has him on now they ask him irrelevant questions such as "do you think the media is treating you unfairly" or "what do you think of this campaign add", useless questions like that.

I tend to gravitate to people who speak truth. I also liked people like Bill Hicks and George Carlin. As for what country or what career they have is irrelevant to me. Ya, your political process gives all the power too greedy self interested fools instead. As for freedom, how is what he's preaching not a message of freedom. Ben Bernake is an economic dictator, he has more power then Obama, he could bring your nation to its knees in a matter of minutes if he wanted to.

I know he ran as a libertarian and no I wasn't born yet. Starting wars and putting trade sanctions on countries is what is isolating America, how is your countries relationship with Cuba? Trading and talking with countries has nothing to do with being an isolationist. I don't agree with him on everything but he is the most honest and caring politician I have seen in my lifetime. Look at the other GOP candidates, they continue to spread a message of fear, he is telling you guys not to worry, to not be afraid, that may not seem like a lot to you but that speaks volumes to me. As for a gold standard, he doesn't want your economy and by extension the American people's lives to be manipulated by banks. His campaign really is a campaign for liberty. He doesn't want to run the world, the economy or anybodies life, he wants your people to be free so they can be the master of their own fate. I hope you are wrong here.

Not new to me, I was rooting for him in '08. As for wining an election, he has won several times since this is his 13th time in congress. Put Paul in a debate against Obama and Paul would destroy him. I don't know why you don't want him as your President, which of his views do you not agree with. Do you think the wars should end? He really doesn't focus on that subject and the reason he thinks so is because he spent most of his life delivering babies as a doctor. He would of been criminally charged if he hurt the fetus while under his care, he considers them to be living beings. what??? Where did you hear this from? he says this because in a truly free society people should have the right to be racists, however he has no intentions on repealing the act.I don't understand why people call him crazy, he wants to end the wars and trade with the countries instead of fighting with him.
