If you want to make those private choices ie drugs, lets eliminate the current form of health care so you have to pay for your choices. I like trans fats, I would be very will to carry higher healthcare cost to enjoy them, would you do the same for your pot. I could really care less what people do in their bedrooms. But ya, I would support legslizing pot if you allow changes in our health care system so people had to pay for what they used because of their bad choices. If we could amend welfare so that those alcholics and drug users sitting at home being paid by the government to be leaches on society. I would support your cause DR. Greenthumb, when you and all those others who advocate, concede that the actions of over use of these substances means that the people who choose this lifestyle are personally responsible (not society or the taxpayer) for all cost assocatied with the use and abuse of these substances.

I am quite a happy fellow. I just don't like government intervention. I was very happy in November when Harper had annouced that some of the taxpayer funding would be taken away from political parties. It was a step in the right direction. That wuld have ment only to more public revenue streams to political parties to get rid of. I was very happy with the idea to reduce arts funding too bad that went under the bus. I am a very happy guy when government isn't wasting my hard earned tax dollars. But witht the welfare socialist state this country has become their is precious little that isn't wasted anymore. We need to go back to the idea of personal responsibility.

That depends on what reasonable market value is, what the land was worth prior to road widening or what the value is after the demand for that land has gone up to by the prospect of development. If it was stelmach asking my response would be suck eggs.

Why is it that the government is the one that must help them? Head hunting companies exist, they can go their for help. Why is it that the only solution in todays world is to have the government look after it? When have you ever seen a government that hasn't been mismanaged and cost the tax payers much more then promised? When will people learn government does not equal solution, it always equals more problems.

Prior to that the worst Prime Minister the world had ever seen. Yep I'd rather have this mismanagement then liberal mismanagement. Yes I did call mulrooney a liberal.

How about we fire her, the ministry and all those employed by the government who work in the ei deptartment, and get rid of another crap liberal program.

Beleive me I don't ignore the system that is nothing but a tax. I want to see it either made an optional form of a real insurance product or even better yet elminated.

Even better yet how about taking you resume to prespective employers, why is that you seem to think we need a governement ministery to find people work?
