Is Canada's Science Minister a creationalist?
Alta4ever replied to Chuck U. Farlie's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Like i said way earlier in the thread, toadbrother and the others that seem to have a problem with this are religious bigots. Many many "christian" scientists are doing great work. This is just another smear campaign by the liberals and the left throw as much sh.. as possible hoping something will stick. -
ever hear of the rule of 72 at the interst rates of the day it would have only taken 6 years to double the national debt that trudeau left.
-
I seem to recall that meech lake would have unified the country had trudeau not suck his nose in.

Is it enough for you to just exist? -
It takes time and money to clean up liberal messes.

I remeber to creat a safe working employment for their employees and to get a wage that could be lived off of. Bothof these have now ben met by legislation. One throught minimum wage laws, the through employment standard laws. Unions continue to exist to extort money, as the prior goals have been met.

If evolution has nothing to do with god, then what purose would a god have until we became what we are....thats a lot of time to do nothing. -

Its only an extreme matter if you are a conservative right....so how does this help the liberals reach out to the churches like the artical in the other thread says you are trying to do. -

So liberals want the liberal vote but won't let a man with a religious beleif be a minister of science.....wow great way to bring evangelicals around to your side. You will mock their beleifs and ask for their vote great strategy. I can just imagine what you would say to them. I imagine the liberal speaking to the church folk, "your too stupid to understance science, but don't worry we do, so vote liberal" -
So you didn't know that Trudeau ran huge deficits, that when he left office we were hevily in debt, and at that time intrest rates were heading into the double digits? That to keep the social programs in effect that he and other liberal governments had created required either huge tax increase to keep at a bad economic time, or running deficits until the recession ( which was worse then this one) had corrected. Our National debt is a result of legacy of trudeau. :ole I said I am no fan of Mulrooney, but the deficit was a result of trudeau and compounded by mulrooney.

Again Mdancer I ask for proof, which we both know does not exist, we have theories. Even Stwphen Hawking changes his mind from time to time on what the Unisverse is doing. At first he thought it was like an elastic band and would expand to a only a certain point then would begin contracting. He then changed his theory. My point is that they are thories yet to be proven. Its not like sailing around the world or taking pictures of the planet from space. We have no hard evidence of what caused these changes in evolution. I would like to know what event changed dinosaurs into chickens and other birds. For all those with an open mind and willing to listen, I wold encourage you to watch ben Stein's expelled, very interesting documentary, even if you don't agree with his stance. -
Not that i liked Mulrooney but his deficit was the reslut of bad management in the prioir adminsitration Trudeau, debt servicing and intrest rates are largely to do with the increase under mulrooney

what guided he change, the odds of life just appearing because ameno acids and protiens mixing are astronomical. It is something that has never been duplicated. Not to mention we still don't know were we came from, or exactly how it happened. What brought about those changes. what we have is science explaining adaptation, but not how life was created that is still theory. If a god did in fact do it, we don't know how it did it (no proof), if by random chance we still don't know (no proof) as we have not be able to duplicate any of it with the scientific methode. -
I bought three, two were absolute crap. The third I bought after I started doing research on the costs assocatied in the vehicles of union manufactures. After that I have boycotted North American auto makers until the management can show that they can make good decisions, and develope a little bass to deal with the unions I won't buy one from the big three again.

appearently they are stupid because science has neither proved or disproved how humans came to walk this earth, all it has done is prove that we have changed over time.
