  1. Sux to be you too does it? 👍
  2. I could care less about you and Shady for sure.
  3. 1. As much as possible. 2. No, you're here debating it right now. 3. No, carbon taxes are mice nuts compared to the inflation driven by climate change, 4. I'm not complaining. In fact I just said I have no issue with paying more. There's no contradiction. 5. Smarten up then.
  4. Sux to be you apparently. Meanwhile I'm living the dream and enjoying the best years of my life. 4 years cancer free now too! And I don't have to submit another FIT sample for 10 years! They're pretty sure something else will kill me by then. I have every intention of showing them otherwise! Sorry for peeing on your pancakes but smell ya later!
  5. He? Your toaster you mean? Must be a Toshiba knock off, its a little more obvious where you learned English.
  6. The value of the environment is important enough to me that I learned to make a living at it - after fishing and logging collapsed due to greed, lobbying and some of the most misguided fùcked up fisheries and ecosystem management on the planet, I learned how to make a good part of my living as a private contractor and consultant as an environmental monitor on things like TFL cut blocks and the development of golf courses and resorts and when managing a fishery. I was even incorporated. That's where political environmental activism led me. Nowadays I can put $300 or more a day in my pocket in ecotourism burning anywhere from 150 - 300 litres of fuel doing it. I probably pay more carbon tax in a week than this whole whiny forum put together and I've got no issue with me, and you, paying more on top of it. Retirement is imminent and I can definitely see going back in activism as a volunteer, especially of your money. 🤣
  7. It's not everyone, but there are a lot of conspiracy gas fumes these days. 2nd hand smoke gives you cancer too don't forget. I see more than a few people I've known for 50 years now go over to the stupid side. Maybe it's like the Dark Side...it's not more powerful, it's easier.
  8. Speaking for myself I value the environment more. You simply can't have enduring prosperity without it.
  9. Which is all you ever say to everyone. Yawn...
  10. You're up on all the cruise lingo are you?
  11. No you're not. Towards information, that you run away from.
  12. I accept your surrender.
  13. No it didn't. No it doesn't. I already explained everyone is capable of finding this information in their own.
  14. So what you're saying is that 9 people were killed by undocumented people in the last 4 years and ICE killed 33 since Trump took office? Why didn't you just say so?
  15. No one said it was but climate change is certainly a far bigger driver than the picayune amount intended to mitigate it. But why are you bothering to throw numbers around when you think it's all bullshit?
  16. Notice where my AI says climate change is amongst the primary drivers and yours says it's not the primary driver? That matters. That said, climate change driven food inflation is a driver that will continue to grow whereas the others may wax and wane. You'll see that reflected over time in AI overviews as it becomes less deniable that climate change is the primary driver not just of food inflation but just about everything that's driving us off a cliff.
  17. It shouldn't be surprising I suppose, Northern and Southern latitudes and climates are changing faster. Kinda throws a kink into the idea climate change will turn all of Canada into farmland.
  18. You can certainly see how the difference between the loons and ordinary conservatives has evolved around this forum over the decades. The right wing has been way more of a direction than a place for decades now and many an old conservative has been cast off, left behind and branded a lefty if they can't keep up. It's a vindication for real lefties. And it's funny as fùck to boot!
  19. And how's that working out for ya? To hear you people speak, our threat is existential - a clear and present danger.
  20. AI says... Canada: Climate change, combined with geopolitical factors, is a primary driver behind a projected food price increase of 4% to 6% for 2026 in Canada. While there is no single percentage for total food inflation attributed solely to climate change, researchers warn it could increase food prices by up to 3.2% every year globally. By contrast, the carbon tax has been found to have "essentially no impact" (near 0%) on food prices, as farmers are largely exempt from direct costs that would be passed to consumers.
  21. You people have been screeching this for as long as I can remember. For over 50 years commies have successfully invaded, infiltrated and indoctrinated every level of government without having to fire a single shot. How do you explain that? What do you tell future generations - perhaps something like David Suzuki who said he tried and did his best? Maybe the bigger threat is you for not doing a thing to stop it. I mean, Canadians used to give their lives trying to do something about people like me and old Dave. I spend way more time LMAO at them as I get older. It's far healthier and more constructive.
