What we all forget is the UN created Israel and sanctioned the new nation. It has a right to exist. Yes ,they did make the desert flower. Arabs who stayed and were welcomed are living with more freedom than those living in the rest of the middle east. Democracy only flourishs in Israel as far as the middle east is concerned at this present moment. Lets us all hope and pray that democracy will take hold after these up rising.

I think we all ,as citizens not only have a right to protect our and our nieghbours property and lives from bad guys ,we have a duty to do what we can ,even if your only capable of picking up the phone to call 911 or if more able bodied to apprehend and hold a bad guy for police with as much force as required. As we see in Caledonia the people have been deserted by the Police and are left helpless ,they must protect themselves until the rule of law is once again implemented by reluctant politicians and Police brass who left the victims to fend for themselves. I feel sorry for the rank and file cops who had to obey their orders knowing it was wrong.

I employ people. For every hard working soul ,that is self motivated I go through five dolts who just want a pay cheque. I find it frustrating to continually be looking for work for an employee to do when things slow down. In a shop there are always chores to do. Lets face it. Some folks need structure in their work that only Burger King can give them. Nothing wrong with that . There is job security with very little self starting will to have job security. God bless these places for employing these kind of folks.

My family was the working poor. There were four of us kids. Three created business and one diden`t. Gue3ss who was bitter at life? You make your own luck. For some being the honest working poor is all they have in the tank. They should be respected for working at what they can . They are not layabouts.

Every time we raise minimum wage we lose jobs to places like China. Ask your self this. If you were manufacturing widgets for $5.00 a piece and just surviving and wages went up $6.00 driving the price of your widget up to $5.50 a piece and you could have the same widget made and landed from off shore for $4.50 what business decision would you take. You no longer need machinery,a plant to heat and hydro,workmens comp labour unrest etc. just a warehouse. Have you made your decision yet? I have the greatest respect for the working poor. I was once one. I didn`t like it so I went into business for myself. What I dislike is the lazy and those who figure that the capitalist system owes them a job. After all there are only so many over paid civic workers jobs. I am happy guy. I don`t have a formal education ,but I own a thriving business with first class people working for me ,all long term and on salary. I do not apologize for my great fortune. It has been all hard honest work ,NOT LUCK. Just raising minimum wage is not the answer for the working poor.

Here is a sample of a legal system and not a justice system. You get sued by a competitor who has the money to back them. Your a fledgling business. Your lawyer will advise you to counter sue.The case will be tied up for years. You will have to bare everything in discovery. You will have to find gobs of dough.The whole exercise is to eliminate you from the business scene. if you do manage to survive ,the lawyers will settle on the court house steps and you will go your separate ways. Broke,angry, and with no justice. I know I have been there. It is legal to do this.

Justice system! Surely you jest! We have a legal system. Not a Justice system.But you are right. Middle class hard working people are the worst treated in our Legal system.

Apparently no western country is when it comes to Islamic immigration. Who else is threatening their adopted country other than the radical Islamists? Yes ,some groups have crime within their ranks ,but no other religion threatens the host country with death and mayhem.Why is that?

I can`t see what one has to do with the other! He is speaking about home grown British citizens creating acts of terrorism . These people are Islamists first in their hearts over being citizens of Great Britian. Our country has had good relationships with Egypt where Christians are murdered for just being. Should I be committing terrorists acts in Canada because I am of the Christian faith? Of course not. If those citizens of the Islamic faith are so upset at multicultual Britian and the wars they find themselves in,do the brave thing ,denounce their citizenship and immigrate where they can support their cause in an honourable fashion as true soldiers. Last I heard Great Britian does have free elections that represent all citizens.

I don`t think the Prime minister of Great Britian was speaking of curtailing immigration. He is speaking about a real problem of religious fanatics that are home grown who want to curtail religious and political freedom of all those who are not Islamists. If one looks to acts of terrorism within Great Britian it is fanatical home grown Islamists. That is a truth. It is not discrimination . Silence by the majority of people who follow Islam who do not preach violence have a duty to their country to speak up. Just as the Prime minister has.

My reliable informant ,my wife, says that this has been in the works for ten years ,long before Sun news or a CP government was even thought about. Who decides what is truth?
