First ,I don`t know of any Christian Church that preaches hatered. Over the past year and a half I have attended several Churchs in the main stream and I have not found any hate being espoused. As for Muslims I have not said they all do. It is the Islamists that are producing hatred and terrorism. Muslims are the greatest victims of these fanatics. When was the last time you have seen mass murder,suicide bombers,all in the name of Christ or Christian main stream Church`s.

Not all cultures have evolved and are eqeal. Christianity has eveolved so that translation of the bible today is not preached from the pulpit of hatred for their fellow man. Unfortunately Islam is on a road to kill anyone who disagrees or even questions the Koran. It is not hard to prove. Open tomorows paper to prove my point. Unfortunately it is mostly Muslims that are the victims of the intolerant Islamists..

Well I am an old man and I can only speak from experience. I only completed grade six then went off to work for several reasons. My teachers were fantastic. Often I was given the strap for various reasons,but I never hated the teachers they were trying to get my attention. But by gosh they were good at their job. It was calling for them. They gave me the greatest gift an educater can give a child. I can read. Because of this gift I had a very successful life without the help of a Union. Unfortunately from what I have seen over the last few decades, I have come to the conclusion that teachers are incompetent ,uneducated in basic grammer,punctuation,math and spelling. Teaching has become a Union job instead of a calling . They can not be fired for incompetence,unlike those who pay their wages. Like the person who started this thread ,if they are a teacher you, have proven my point by just posting. Sadly if this person does get a job teaching they will produce another generation of functioning illiterates, and get paid a obscene amount of money to do it. That is of course if the original poster is really going to be a teacher. The post proves my response.

Why would I change my opinion? Do you not agree that we parents lead by example? If we are responsible ,law abiding and honest individuals do you not believe that will influence our children?

You should be very proud of yourself. It takes a lot of courage to face responsibilities that are and can be so overwhelming. Our children will be responsible citizens if they have a parent as a template like you. Bloody good show!

My Mrs. and I had our kids and we raised them without any child care money. If your going to have kids make sure you can afford the brats. Why should the rest of us pay for your screwing?

You still missed out on the subject matter of this thread in your reply. Besides when did I say it was you I was referring to about hate of the USA? Again the Arab world has condemned Kaddaffy but will still not inforce the no fly zone themselves that they say they care about. They want the USA to do it and when people die the hate will be the USA`s to endure.

Back to the subject at hand. It does not matter what the Arab world thinks about a no fly zone. They will not act and help the poor sods fighting modern aircraft , mercenaries and tanks with AK 47`s and untrained plumbers,lawyers and medical students banging away with anti aircraft guns. As for moral equivalence of some nations over others. When tragedy strikes in the form of natural disasters who are the first at almost every incident with aid ? Can you that hate America so much at least acknowledge that it is the boogey man, America that is on the scene first with aid.

Yes it takes two to have a conflict! But it was the bully and his gang who picked on the new kid on the block and got the crap kicked out of them . Now the little guy has a bigger piece of the block. No more the humble Jew to quake at the hands of those who would drive them into oblivion.

My point is, that let the Arabs and or the Africans take care of their little parcel of the world and leave us out of their squabbels. We will be hated here in the west no matter our intentions if we interfere.

Where is the Arab League and the African League in all this? Surely they could implement a no fly zone over Libya! No ! Probably not.

I am sure a lot of individuals are grateful to those individuals who helped them. But where is it that it brought about peace in the decades of their existence. Is it Africa,Middle East,the Far East? What country has declared that peace was achieved because of the Peace core? I doubt any. What counties were given credit for the hard work of these idealistic young people who may have brought comfort to some individuals? Have they done as much as christian missions ? Convince me ! I am willing to listen.

What accomplishments have they brought to world peace? I think the people who joined were probably very nice folks and the guys joined to be near the girls. Nothing wrong with that of course. But just what did they accomplish?

One has to wonder if we are such good guys when it comes to newcomers why all the beefing from them?

MAD did a lot more for peace than the so called Peace Core. The only thing a bad guy fears is someone who has as big a stick or bigger. Not some wishful thinker...

Blowing up aircraft these days is predominately the domain of Islamic nut bars who have been brainwashed by their so called religious leaders. If I fit the profile by looks of an Islamist Arab with a swarthy complexion and was the right age I would be more than happy I was getting a little more attention than blue rinsed hair on old granny. I would want my fellow passengers to feel comfortable and I also want to get to my destination safely. So yes lets profile. If it was old white guys who were bragging they were going to blow up aircraft I would want to be given special attention.

No! Gaddafi is not an American puppet. Did you not hear him yesterday? All the people of Libya love him. One has to admit the man has always marched to his own drummer. That he is the only one who hears the drum is another question.

As the guy on the street in libya says, we don`t want military help. libyans will settle this. So turn on the BBC and Aljazeera and watch history and democracy unfold Arab style. Who knows what lies ahead for this country. As Kadaffi says, all Libyans love him.

All inclusive vacations are very reasonable in in that part of the world. Something wrong with this guy. The weather is not that good right now.

I am sure the average guy putting his life on the line protesting and facing government forces is really believing that democracy will be the end result. But as in all revolts and revolutions a vacuum is created. To fill that hole will be the toughest guy with his own agenda. He may even feel he is benevolent in his own mind. He may even have some convoluted idea what democracy means. He selects his cabinet and they vote on what they perceive the leader wants and carry out his orders.I hope with all the sacrafices that these states win their revolution and a seculor liberal and benevolent government evolves. Do I have doubts? Yes. As for western armament being used against the people ,if one looks carefully, the rifles being used are usually AK 47`s.
