  1. It also seems clear that you are incapable of anything but derogatory comments and insults. Grow up.
  2. Indeed, the culture emphasizes rigidity and skills in education. It produces very strong results at early ages. The article mentioned by the original poster is ridiculous. Our system is beyond reproach. The only reason the American system under-performs is that it is underfunded. Standardized testing, used the way it is in the States, causes damage as well.
  3. From his follow ups, he clearly meant Liberals in general. You are the one who is wrong in your inference. D
  4. I agree with scrapping the registry. Colossal waste of money. Now let's get serious and ban firearms altogether.
  5. What you say about highschool guidance is untrue. Seeing as how it is no more than a relatively meaningless anecdotal, I won't dwell on it.
  6. Pointing out blatant contradiction is not flogging a dead horse.
  7. Cute. Look at you decrying a general lack of education yet pulling numbers out of your arse to justify an ideological rant.
  8. Pipe dreams like your man's Pax Americana in Iraq?
  9. Yes, actually, you clearly do hate education and healthcare. Attack the teachers? Are you insane? The wealth of the province is not being concentrated in teachers, or any public service.
  10. Wow....get out of your basement much? Must be tough on your eyes. The NDP's base of support is lower income bracket Einstein.
  11. Tilter's kind of wishy-washy fear mongering that has does not even attempt to seek a base in reality, much less reason, is the typical Conservative assault on anything that is not right of center. Must....destroy...middle-class.....
  12. That is precisely what is happening. A concerted effort to wind the clock back to our glorified, factory bound manufacturing days. Unfortunately, in doing so, we'll also have to pass by 1919.
  13. No, a single procedure does not halfwit. That has not been discussed and is intentionally ignorant. DERP! Sucks when contradicted by your more educated brethren, yes? DERP! DEATHCAMPS! FACTS IRRELEVENT! SARAH PALIN! BLARGH! USA!USA!USA! ----------- The American government spends 23 per cent more than the Canadian government per capita on health care, even though 46 million U.S. citizens have no coverage at all.
  14. Have you not detected the general thrust of his posts? He's an ignorant buffoon.
  15. Not the way ours functions. Absolutely not. Tt provides no sober second thought. Just contributes to HoC group-think.
  16. Yes indeed. A former prime minister having gone for a single procedure that was offered to a higher degree of quality unequivocally beats out the hundreds of American respondents who split evenly on which system was better. Let's take that logic further. The input of hundreds of Americans who actually know, is dwarfed by the indoctrinated opinion of a single Jacksonian ignoramus. DERP!DERP! USA!USA!USA! DEATHCAMPS! ---------- Art Finley is a West Virginia native who lives in Vancouver. "I'm 82, and in excellent health," he told me this week. "It costs me all of $57 a month for health care, and it's excellent. I'm so tired of all the lies and bullshit I hear about the system up here in the U.S. media."
  17. Ridiculous. There will be compensation to pay, surely.
  18. Fixed: Yes indeed, that's obviously how they responded to the poll. Let's just ignore the actual findings and mouthfart. ----- Finley, a well-known TV and radio host for years in San Francisco, adds, "I now have 20/20 vision thanks to Canadian eye doctors. And I haven't had to wait for my surgeries, either."
  19. Overall I tend to agree. However, I am not a fan of the waste of space we term our senate.
  20. DERP Ontario wastes money on deathcamps DERP teaparty "Conclusion: Americans living in Canada generally rated the US health care system as being better than the Canadian system. However, they acknowledged the inefficiency and inequity of the US system, and nearly half preferred the Canadian system despite its perceived problems." I don't understand. Why would nearly half of Americans living in Canada prefer....deathcamps...?
  21. I understand that the English language is complex and full of nuances. You didn't ask for evidence of that. You asked: "Evidence? Any at all?", clearly pleasing yourself with your witty one liner. Your entire point and set of assumptions are ridiculously ignorant. How was I to know which part to respond to? Now that you have qualified your question, I will qualify my reply with a study. http://economics.ca/cgi/jab?journal=cpp&view=v15n4/CPPv15n4p424.pdf The conclusion suggests, with a few caveats, that immigrant households are worth even more than non-immigrant households. Whether or not the caveats apply, the implication is clear, there is real value. With our baby boomers going into retirement, we will need more treasure to fund the services we cling to. You decide Scotty, immigration or even higher taxes. PS- As for your whining of disrespect, grow up. You were confrontational, and I responded with confrontation. Don't like your logic bubble being burst? Too bad. PPS-As for me talking to myself, too late. PPS- Feel free to morph your question again if you feel the need. I love playing whack-a-mole.
