  1. A campaign is a vicious beast. There is no telling where a campaign would take us. I personally believe the Tories are in the drier seat as well, but it's far from a sure thing that they would be able to cut out a majority government. As for the unreliability of polls as illustrated by bold&cold, I would say that the incredibly accurate projections and results released by pollsters over recent years speak for themselves.
  2. Oh, without a doubt. Please consider my question addressed to the main poster whose views I am referreing to.
  3. Please forgive the new user for his confusion. But why is a minority groups' exercise of their democratic rights troubling?
  4. To be honest, I'm quite happy that we still have politicians who will campaign on principle and ideology. It's unfortunate that Tory chose that particular one to make a personal stand over. He should've known that it would be particularly divisive and contentious, not only for Ontarians, but among his own party. Tory made a campaign gaffe, that's all.
  5. Like a few of you already mentioned, I don't believe this issue to really egenrate much strife between the U.S and Canada. If it becoimes truly viable for regular shipping, then I can't imagine Canada stonewall. We'll break out the flags for a day and move on.
