  1. QUOTE Typical leftards, you believe in freedom, democracy and human rights, you just don't want to do anything about it!!! Just make excusses for the enemy... Ahh yes, the 'left' is the source of all your problems. Do yourself a favor and pick up a history book or two. Im thinking ignorance is maybe closer to the source of your actual problems. Andrew nicely put Andrew. It's a shame that weaponeer feels he/she has to resort to name calling. Then again, when reality and truth are not your friend, y'all gotta do and say something, eh? ejackulation? Are you in elementary school?
  2. and the other shoe drops... Lieberman: UK Incident Should Drop Spy Opposition Meanwhile here in the United States, Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut said the bombing plots should encourage lawmakers to drop opposition to the Bush administration’s domestic spying on U.S. citizens. Speaking on ABC’s This Week, Lieberman said: “I hope these terrorist attacks in London wake us up here in America to stop the petty partisan fighting going on about…electronic surveillance.” we better give away all our rights if we know what's good for us!!!!

  4. Vice President Cheney has bigger balls than "God"...scratch that...Dick Cheney IS GOD! no, big Dick cheney is DOG.
  5. You really are full of hot air, aren't you? The anger and frothing of the mouth can be felt all the way over here. Did you expect anything else? Sometimes Argus makes good points, but most of it is pure anger.
  6. I respectfully submit that 'sanity and level-headedness' in society is best achieved by not denigrating the beliefs of a very large proportion of our fellow citizens. Live and let live. I think the problem with this is that religious minded people will hold out for a "silver bullet" solution instead of taking ownership of whatever situation themselves....."God willing, that levee will hold." "God willing, all of our problems will be solved." etc... I don't think that all church-goers are bad. I know that many people attend church for the fellowship, and that many churches do serve a useful function, as long as it's not a case of soup in one hand and the bible in the other. That sickens me.
  7. And now there is no deadline. how soon before Canada is back to being heavily in debt?
  8. Such assertions are completely irrelevant to the question of what happened on 9/11. Thruthies spend a lot of nattering about how little pieces of information support their theory but they do not have a single coherent and plausible story arc that explains exactly how such a hoax could have been orchestrated. You can natter as much as you want about bits of inconclusive information but the nattering means nothing if you can put the pieces together. are you a "fan" of history? If not, I suggest you read some "history" and you will understand that this is not the 1st time for a 911 type event. Educate yourself.
  9. you should be asking the Pakistanis, they seem to be the ones offering shelter to the taliban. Have you given one thought about the CIA/Al Qaeda connection?
  10. I'd like nothing better then to keep Canada "Glorious and Free", but just so you know, Paul Martin was involved with this before Harper ever was. Both have taken Canada behind the woodshed, so to speak.
  11. "Currently Atlantic Canada is in the process of ripping off the federal government" Right.......Did the Government of Canada sign an agreement that said that Newfoundland and Nova Scotia could keep 100% of its oil and gas revenues until 2012-13, no matter what equalization formula is in place??? Does our governments signature mean nothing? Anyway, this is not going to be a popular opinion and I won't be well liked after a say it, but... I hate to break up this whole Ontario pity party and yes, equalization as flaws, but I am suppose to believe Ontario, home of the national capital and its legions of highly payed bureaucrats + location of most national headquarters, huge infrastructure expenditures & investments, massive federal R&D investments, Canada's banking & financial capital, Canada's Keynesian planned manufacturing sector, not to mention the fact that Ontario has a huge influence on federal policy.....is a huge some big loser/victim in this confederation? And if you are so convinced that subsidies are the terrible, I *kindly* suggest you petition the provincial government to end the $2.8 billion in annual subsidies to Ontario related interests, not even including provincial and federal subsidies to agriculture and manufacturing ...because as you know.... subsidies breed dependencies. That's what subsidies do. They are not good for anyone. well said.
  12. I don't agree with the mission (or the CPC on many fronts), but it is important for the family members to see the support (I have numerous military friends). I have a "support the troops" magnet on my car for them. Anything to make those people feel a little better until their loved ones return.
  13. Every fruit picker and housekeeper is a jihadi now? It's a terrorist watch list. If there were half a million terrorists in the States, I'm sure you'd see a lot more things going ka-blooey. if you disagree with the bush government or DARE protest (even in a peaceful way), you will probably be put on the list. Non white skin color? Good chance you're on the list. How ANYONE who values freedom can be an apologist for this list is beyond me, other than they are easily brainwashed (no kidding, huh?) You atre either a terrorist or you are NOT a terrorist. The list is probably now at 600k and yet, according to certain sheep on this board, IT'S NOT ENOUGH. WE NEED TO PUT MORE PEOPLE ON THIS LIST SO WE CAN BE SAFE! Idiots, all of them.
  14. LOL. more "common sense/kill em' all if they are from over yonder" reasoning from scotty. Niiiiccceee.
  15. well said August. I, and the majority of Canadians, agree with your point of view.
  16. Analysts: Dollar collapse would result in 'amero' WORLD NET DAILY EXCLUSIVE QUOTE "The Fed is in a very tough spot here," Chapman wrote, "If they raise rates, the real estate market will collapse, and if they lower rates, the dollar will collapse." Meeting yesterday, the Federal Reserve Open Market Committee voted, as Chapman had predicted, to hold the overnight lending rates between banks steady at 5.25 percent. This was the fourth straight meeting the Fed had voted not to change rates. In its rate announcement, the Fed affirmed the economy had slowed. Almost immediately after the announcement of the Fed's decision, the dollar weakened to a new 20-month low against the euro, with currency markets reportedly pricing in the expectation the Fed will be forced to lower rates next year to bolster the economy. Following the announcement by the Fed, the U.S. Dollar Index, or USDX, also dropped, with the dollar going below 83. A dollar collapse is imminent, Chapman declared. "Technicians studying the USDX think there is a support level for the dollar at 75, but I don't think so." How low could the dollar go? "If the dollar breaks through 78.33 on the USDX," Chapman answered, "my guess is the dollar will go through a 35-percent correction, which would put it at 55." "The key in how low the dollar goes is the interest rates," Chapman told WND. "In January, the Fed is going to have to make a decision which way to go. If Fed rates go up, the dollar will hold in the 78.33 range, but the stock market and the economy will tank. If next year the Fed lowers rates to keep the economy from crashing, the bottom will fall out of the dollar, and I see it going as low as 55. Once the dollar hits bottom, it will take the stock market and the economy right with it anyway. The Fed is in a box they can't get out of." As WND reported earlier this week, in an unusual move, the Bush administration is sending virtually the entire economic "A-team" to visit China for a "strategic economic dialogue" in Beijing Thursday and Friday. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke are leading the delegation, along with five other cabinet-level officials, including Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez. Also in the delegation will be Labor Secretary Elaine Chao, Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt, Energy Secretary Sam Bodman, and U.S. Trade Representative Susan Schwab. But Chapman doubts the trip will help the Fed to engineer a slow dollar slide. "The Chinese are going to do what the Chinese want to do, not what we want them to do," he said. "I believe the Chinese are going to send Treasury Secretary Paulson and Fed Chairman Bernanke home packing, with little or nothing to show for the trip." How severe will the coming dollar collapse be? "People in the U.S. are going to be hit hard," Chapman warned. "In the severe recession we are entering now, Bush will argue that we have to form a North American Union to compete with the Euro." "Creating the amero," Chapman explained, "will be presented to the American public as the administration's solution for dollar recovery. In the process of creating the amero, the Bush administration just abandons the dollar." http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=53350
  17. I came across this video and to say the least, I was blown away. This is sort of a 911 video, but not dominated by 911, if that makes any sense. There are 3 parts. The 2nd part consists of 911 news casts/videos, so if you're sick of that type of thing, don't watch as it really doesn't hurt the content of the other 2 parts. Now here's the warning and please think about it seriously before watching.......if you are a deeply religious person and are happy with life, part 1 is not for you, DON'T OPEN!....that said, here's Zeitgeist part 1 http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8...The+Movie&hl=en part 2 http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2...The+Movie&hl=en part 3 http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=84...The+Movie&hl=en
  18. ya, that video is food for thought, for sure. I was blown away by it.

  20. this is ridiculous. http://blogs.abcnews.com/theblotter/2007/0...error_watc.html FBI Terror Watch List 'Out of Control' June 13, 2007 8:55 AM Justin Rood Reports: "A terrorist watch list compiled by the FBI has apparently swelled to include more than half a million names. Privacy and civil liberties advocates say the list is growing uncontrollably, threatening its usefulness in the war on terror. The bureau says the number of names on its terrorist watch list is classified. A portion of the FBI's unclassified 2008 budget request posted to the Department of Justice Web site, however, refers to "the entire watch list of 509,000 names," which is utilized by its Foreign Terrorist Tracking Task Force." this is nazi germany happening all over again. This really needs to be stopped. It is only allowed to happen when good people stand back and do nothing.
  21. I hope that this is the beginning of the end for this disgusting government. It can't come too soon.
