  1. This woman is irrational . She is horrible to her family. I felt sorry for her husband and kids. I can only say, her religion has made her an insane fanatic she is an alleged 'christian' and she went to a normal household I guess?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCh2FXzD6R4 frightful , really. OMG, they had a buddha! In the end, the insane christian "warrior" took the money.
  2. hey I read one of those there. http://www.leftbooks.com/store/media/wmd.jpg weapons of mass deception, the use of propaganda wrt Iraq. sshhhh Pindar, don't tell anyone the gov. used propaganda techniques with the help of PR firms. I like the title of the one "Toxic sludge is good for you" Like fluoride?
  3. Pindar and Buffycat another excellent book on msm "truthiness' is http://www.amazon.com/Dont-Believe-Lies-Be...s/dp/1932857060 written by a Canadian gal: Alexandra Kitty is a journalist who specializes in crime and media issues. She has a BA in psychology from McMaster University and a MA in journalism from the University of Western Ontario. She lives in Hamilton, Ontario. Another interesting critic of MSM is Robert McChesney http://www.robertmcchesney.com/ I've read the book "it's the media stupid" co-written with John H. Nichols I've also heard both men interviewed a number of times wrt varying books. Always interesting. BTW: this line alone "It is important to "get" a story, interview a subject or nab a scoop first-the accuracy of these elements is secondary." makes me think of the 'truthiness' surrounding the recent iran hysteria
  4. Yes it is a MSM publication BC, but personally when I compare it to Popular Science, (hearst publication), which is a piece of garbage. No comparison. I also like Discover magazine. Thankfully the Scientfic American gives lots of references for anyone to further check out for themselves. nad make up their own minds. we've had a little debate raging in our own city, for a while now. Oh and we have had no fluoridated water in our city, and my kid (who is an adult now) had ZERO cavities. Amazing huh?! How is that possible , without swallowing the toxic waste by-product from chemical fertilizer production.? What a unique way for industry to dispose of toxic waste, lobby the government of the day to pour it in the drinking water? Aah nothing new under the sun!
  5. of course they don't ! they are beholding to advertisers and shareholder, But Michael Hardner is claiming they are "responsible" for their information.( hence more reliable and superior) I am asking MH how it is they are "responsible" to us , as he is claiming, and who is holding them responsible?
  6. wrt: fluoride Scientific America, has put a large article out about Fluoride Jan 2008 issue pgs.74-81. I know, I know, such a 'tin foil' hat publication I got it in front of me now. It's called Second thoughts about Fluoride. It discusses the affects of fluoride ingestion on bones, where the chemical stores "proliferation of osteoblast cells, increasing the risk of bone cancers" "alters the crystalline structures of the bone, increasing the risk of fracture" fluorisis: permanent damage to the permanent teeth as they develop in young children High exposures correlate to lowered IQ: An epidemiological study suggests the mechanism may be the formation ofaluminum fluoride complexes that mimic the structure of phosphates and thus influence enzyme activity in the brain. There is also some evidence, that the fluoride, may ENHANCE the uptake of lead to the brain. lovely! Fluoride and thyroid disease. Interesting to note in the article: the advocates of fluoride (government and industry) but that certainly didn't make them correct now did it? oh and BTW: unlike the fluoride in your toothpast, mmmmm, double yummy. where I live thankfully WE DO NOT fluoridate water, sadly there is talk of bringing this garbage back. I will be actively opposing this. as a topical treatment I have no issue, but NO to ingestion.
  7. Are they responsible for their information? Who holds them responsible? We saw how 'responsible' the MSM was wrt information re: Iraq, the recent incident with Iran, just to name a couple of incidents that come to mind. Did the media give us all the information available? Or did they regurgitate there spoon-fed news?
  8. http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/News/I...how/2712931.cms Bears prowl Wall Street as banks lose billions .Then you have 'Northern Rock' , that Gordon Brown is considering nationalizing rather then allowing to fail. Along with a small German Bank in Dusseldorf. The sub-prime fall-out is a bigger issue then the Bush administration had ever let on. Then of course, there is a fact that alot of these sub-primes were bundled and sold as 'investments' to many other investors ,pension funds as an example. To make it even sweeter, the raters of these investments( Moody's as an example) fraudulently gave the investments better ratings then they actually warranted.
  9. But then he has "helicopter Ben" at he helm! from his infamous speech on deflation... In the government in a fiat money system owns the physical means of creating money. Control of the means of production for money implies that the government can always avoid deflation by simply issuing more money. oh really? isn't that what him and Bush are cooking up, get the printing presses going. here's the exact excerpt http://www.federalreserve.gov/boardDocs/sp...121/default.htm then in the next breath, "helicopter Ben" says oh really? isn't that what there proposing? $140 billion dollars of paper money (fiat currency) positive inflation?
  10. as if inflation isn't on the upswing in the US despite the 'impending' recession. and a great week on the stockmarket http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/90e0f850-c5f1-11...00779fd2ac.html wasn't it not too long ago Bush was claiming the funamentals were sound??? wasn't it not too long ago claims were being made the sub-prime crisis was not a big problem? If the fundamentals were sound and the sub-prime crisis was not a big problem this wouldn't be necessary, this is an act of desperation, an attempt to stave off as long as possible the inevitable market drop , which is well on it's way.
  11. If I may, what exactly are you speaking of? 'central information authorities' ?
  12. I think another interesting aspect of this is how the mainstream media , read their appropriate scripts, and that's it. They blew this story relentlessly, unquestioningly, but the retractions, were carried far more via the foreign press, or in a very small manner via the western MSM. In fact, I did a little experiment myself. People I know, who get there news via t.v.,only and asked them. Did you know about the incident with Iranian boats? YES, they knew. did you know it was the "filipino monkey"(ham radio operator) ? Did you know the US withdrew their complaint? Nope, none of them knew. Now granted it was only a few people, but they they all knew about the incident as it was shown repeatedly via MSM. But not one of them knew of the voice recording being added later and being the filipino monkey, nor did they know the US withdrew the complaint. Wasn't it exclaimed repeatedly? Apparently not. Also interesting to note the MSM media dutifully reported their script and didn't bother to do any additional work to verify wether this was accurate etc., Just an observation, on the media's portrayal of this incident.
  13. Pindar: oddly enough it seemed posters were unaware that chips are already being used on people. I think of the Bush administration after 9/11 saying the attacks happened becasue of a "failure of imagination" Well I have read enough on chips, and some interesting patents for chips, that unlike the bush regime, some people have ideas for the use of those, that leave no "failure of imagination" as an option. Some display there raging paranoia, in there "terrorist in every corner and under the bed, boogey men" Lapping up the psy-ops , put out by the Pentagon, but fail to see the potential danger in "chipping" citizens. Glossing over the facts , the history of governmental abuses and murders. But hey Pindar "TERRORISTS" are everywhere !!!!
  14. Is there any indication this is for the welfare of seniors in the home, or for the convenience and cost savings of the service provide? How is it that grandma is going to freeze in the home, are they going to cut off the heat? she could get cold outside? How is it going to prevent someone from wandering away? How is it going to make access to information any easier, when these patients are residence in the home, therefore, the home has files on them, and access to information readily available, that would necessitate chipping them? And Morris Dancer starts down the slippery slope.............. chip seniors, (safety)handicapped people (safety) mentally handicapped(safety) small children (safety) and so it goes.............. utter nonsense on your part!
  15. not to mention all the other covert ops in so many other countries, with so many other great results. So many south american countries come to mind............ on the other hand when destabilisation is the agenda, with division of the country as a possibility??
  16. The crew themselves feel they were not threatened in any way. as stated in the article. My point Angus, (i won't call you Argus, LOL!) This was blown way out of proportion, if you read the article in it's entirety, you will read there have been previous situations similar to this one, that never blew into this kind of side show of propaganda for the (m)asses. This was a great psy-op for the freak show of Bush's trip to the middle east for "peace talks"(as I stated from the get-go) The Pentagon media puppet, leaked a nice little drama to the press, which as demonstrated, the people who want war, all the time, jump& shout , "look bomb Iran" (or Iraq) (or Pakistan). It was intentional, to sway opinion ,cause fear, etc., The Navy immediately started retracting and denying the allegations in the psy-op. Too late though , damage done. People have to be more rational and not jump the gun so quickly.(literally) or the sh*t could hit the fan in way's we can not even begin to imagine (russia & china involvement)
  17. Did it say anywhere in the ABC news article??? M Dancer: Hence the assumption on my part? if you choose to continue being inane, so be it.
  18. since I haven't a clue what you are actually talking about, and wonder if you actually know yourself???? I'll assume you think chipping of human beings is acceptable. When you gonna get yours?
  19. jefferiah: I appreciate the nod of approval and you are right, (degree of criminality) amongst many numerous other issues. Very well said.
  20. You let those residents of that care facility know that, ok?
  21. http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/JA17Ak03.html How the Pentagon planted a false story The release reported that the Iranian "small boats" had "maneuvered aggressively in close proximity of [sic] the Hopper [the lead ship of the three-ship convoy]." But it did not suggest that the Iranian boats had threatened the boats or that it had nearly resulted in firing on the Iranian boats. The release did not refer to a US ship being close to firing on the Iranian boats, or to a call threatening that US ships would "explode in a few minutes", as later stories would report, or to the dropping of objects into the path of a US ship as a potential danger. That press release was ignored by the news media, however, because later that Monday morning, the Pentagon provided correspondents with a very different account of the episode. and on and on, imagine my surprise, therfore according to actual navy accounts, they did not go to battle ready. It wasn't until the Pentagon got throught with the story ......... The source of this spate of stories can now be identified as Bryan Whitman, the top Pentagon official in charge of media relations, who gave a press briefing for Pentagon correspondents that morning. I deleted massive amounts from this story, so read in it's entirety from the link. The boats never went to battle stations. I'll repeat:
  22. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/06/washingt...nyt&emc=rss more aggressive covert operations in a sovereign nation, by the US? say it isn't so? It,s like pakistan has no say what goes on within it's borders? Hmmm, so Mr Musharaf, sure didn't benefit from the assassination of Bhutto as even the US recognizes the threat to the Musharaf government is now so grave, that is give the US GREATER LATTITUDE WOW, who benefitted from the assassination? By increasing the destabilisation of the Pakistani gov? Those Pakistani people can see the obvious , good for them! this is another country that will be further destabilized, and what divided up by the colonialist powers?
  23. http://abcnews.go.com/Health/ActiveAging/S...6229&page=1 Do Chip Implants Protect or Violate Privacy? Care Facility Will Electronically Tag Alzheimer's Patients Despite Protests should the facility chip the patients? If a patient wanders away, how is anyone going to scan the chip, to aid the patient? How is it that the facility claims the chipping will make it easier to access information, wrt their own patients, do they not have files on hand, that they can read through? Or is the benefit a cost savings to the facility?? and not really for the benefit of the patient?? what are the health ramifications of chipping people period? what if the chip travels? Chips have been linked to an increase in cancer in implanted mice? Will the facility really stick to chipping only with "consent"? so now, we have "prisoners" ( whatever prisoners may be) and patients being chipped. Did the patients forfeit their freedom when they became ill? how about foster children? In the care of the gov? Do they forfeit their freedom when the gov intervenes in their care? Maybe husbands and wives can soon chip on another to track whereabouts, control spending etc., Parent's can chip their kids. Then maybe we can all be chipped , with all our financial information in our individual chip, so we can be tracked where every we may be. Hell we can just swipe our chip and automatically pay for our purchases. How efficient for all the business involved, banks , stores? How fab for the government to know everything about us? In fact, for anyone who can hack the chip, ( I believe it has already been demonstrated as possible )to have all of an individuals personal information readily accessible. How about when you reach a certain age, your chip can be activated to end your life. Imagine the endless possibilities for abuse and subjugation and control.??? and so it begins.
  24. don't be so hard on yourself. It was obvious you blindly accepted the whole fairy tale, hook, line and sinker, and never asked one question of the entire situation. Live and learn!
  25. I will always maintain ordinary people have the power to change things, unfortunately the vast majority are lazy, (m)asses, who won't get out from in front of their tv's and video games to bring about the very changes that are necessary to improve their own lives. Yeah and that is a real stretch eh? Once the government makes "criminals"of all manner of people , they can then be imprisoned and , they can then be chipped.(controlled) Because these abuses are historically rampant, I cannot support the chipping of any "prisoners"? As long as there is potential for abuse within the prison system, and there always is I cannot support chipping. Further to that when a person looses there freedoms, due to a legitimate crime. This does not, IMO cause them to forfeit control over their bodies. In fact chipping has so much potential for abuse, IMO, it should not be supported by anyone. http://www.spychips.com/ An excellent book to read on the subject, I've read it.
