The Liberal Party is an existential threat to Canada. China is just doing what an enemy should be. The US does things like this all the time to other countries in order to further foreign policy objectives. But we don't have to have our PM and government officials complicit in it when our enemies do it to us.

The more info that comes out the more it seems Trudeau and/or the PMO and/or his government knew about this Chinese election interference and did nothing to stop it. The Liberal Party and our government is compromised by our Chinese government enemies as we speak and it seems like our elected officials knowingly allowed it to occur in order to reap benefits. A full criminal investigation needs to be conducted by the RCMP and those guilty within our government jailed, including our PM. The NDP can't even defeat this gov based on it and trigger an election because our MPs & candidates and the electoral system itself is compromised by China. This is just as bad if not worse than Trump/Russia, and there seems to be a lot more evidence and links here. This may turn into the biggest political scandal in Canadian history.

Trudeau wants parliaments national security committee to investigate the Chinese interference. So he wants an all-MP/senator committee made of mostly Liberals to investigate? No thanks.

I think its a bit more complex than that. Gen Z are very young. Young people are still figuring out their identity, including sexual identity. I'm sure its confusing for many. It was for me as a teen, you haven't really figured out who you are. But I also think we still need to talk about these things in schools. There's probably more % of people who were cross dressers and bi folks etc than we knew previously. But then just because you like to sometimes dress in drag doesn't mean you're trans. See, its confusing. Some probably aren't actually LGBT but will experiment at that age, which is probably better than being LGBT and suppressing it. I think some fear young people are being brainwashed by ideology, and an agenda is being pushed. There's a fine line between being open and tolerant vs exposing a child to something that isn't appropriate for their age. The rate in change seems massive. About 20% of Gen Z identify as LGBT, , about 11% for millennials, but only 3% of Gen X do. That's significant. It doesn't hurt to examine what exactly is happening, and whether 100% of this change is healthy progress.

He did business with the Chinese for decades, he knew the game. He's a lot smarter than just mashing buttons, give the man credit where credit's due. But I honestly understand you also want to stay out of the career re-education camps, i get it. Double-edged sword that man, and we have to hold it by the blade.

An MP should have to pass a basic security screening like any other public employee that has access to high responsibility and secure info. Can you imagine what kinds of information a typical MP like him has access to? If the allegations are true this is an abomination to our democracy and national security. One of the biggest scandals in modern Canadian political history. This MP needs to be investigated by the RCMP. He's already had several days to hide evidence.

Its more than that. It's also values and ethics. Trudeau and his party are wilful beneficiaries of China's interference. Who knows, maybe if Russia wanted the CPC to win just as bad during Harper's run he may have been conveniently ignorant of the same kind of corruption too. Harper gov certainly wasn't hawkish on China. Most politicians who've climbed to a decent level in any powerful party have kissed a lot of arse and sold out to get there. They're a-holes.

It's not besides the point. If they do nothing who cares? It would be crazy expensive and a huge headache to change everything. The whole system is wrapped in the Crown. If it ever happens I say only agree if Quebec pays for it. They're the ones who want it. Aboriginals definitely shouldn't pay for it, and I have no beef with the monarchy at this point. Immigrants who don't want it can pay for it too. Let there be a vote and anyone who registers to get rid of the monarchy can pay for it if it passes.

They can choose to live wherever they want. If they want to remain in isolated rural communities with little industry and have the results that come with that life that's their choice. As long as we're providing them the services we provide everyone else in small rural communities and upholding the law they can't really complain. A free people should be able to live the lives they want to live.

Because most people want to determine their own destiny and don't want to be controlled by a central power. Just ask Quebec and Alberta. Do you really care how aboriginals govern theirv territory? As long as it doesn't affect me I don't care.

Yeah, but would it matter in any way if Charles is our King or we make Canada a Republic and make the GG our head of state? The King doesn't do anything anyways. Sometimes they visit and wave. The GG does all the work and all they do is sign papers, pose for pics, and eat taxpayer paid meals.

The constitution I guess, its just the evolution and history of parliamentary democracy. I wouldn't say Charles himself the person commands the loyalty of soldiers per say, its the Crown, so Charles holds the position right now. He's head of state of Canada, he physically represents the state. So being loyal to "the King" is like being loyal to the state. Just the Liberal Party lol. I don't oppose all the immigration policies, just some of the more extreme ones that aren't in the best interests of the country, which should be the primary purpose of immigration. The Liberals also called reporters racist for reporting that CSIS warned the government that one of their MP's was likely a foreign agent of the Chinese government. They'll say lots of stuff to defend their agenda.

Guess i'll go down with the ship. I could always move to America, and possibly be happier. But why would I abandon my country against the forces that seek to turn it into their dystopia?
