  1. A bit hilarious that some (moronic) American neighbour of mine can't travel back into Canada because he has a domestic abuse charge on his record, yet Cheney here can seemingly come and go as he pleases. I don't think Cheney should be allowed in Canada without authorities arresting him for war crimes, and hopefully be tried and rot in The Hague. Kony Cheney 2012.
  2. I never made one comment about this story, not one word, I quoted somebody else. HENCE MY USE OF QUOTES. Unfortunately I don't know the ID of the person I quoted, hence it wasn't included. Your comments are classic nonsense. Carry on.
  3. “Having deemed Canada - Canada? - too dangerous, Dick Cheney has cancelled an April speaking appearance in Toronto because he's worried a bunch of mouthy ruffians who oppose torture and support elemental human rights might bother him like they did last year in Vancouver. May the circle around him tighten till he stays in his cave.” CTV News
  4. Which New World Order? The correct one, or the incorrect one?
  5. Youth have amazing energy and life flowing through their veins. Unfortunately, some of them don't know how to properly and safely take that energy and life and set it loose on the world. These kids should have been in a club somewhere banging their heads to some heavy metal bands or banging a girlfriend. This is just acting like idiots. I blame the kids and parents. Both obviously stupid. If I ever had a kid and they did that I'd lop their gonads off.
  6. There's an app for that?
  7. This song freaking ROCKS!!!
  8. I haven't. Balls to iPads.
  9. a. I never denied the quality and durability of Apple products. They are well-made products. My argument is that they are overpriced, and they are, undeniably, based on the hardware/components they are build with. b. you are assuming that because i've never bought an Apple product that i've never USED an Apple product. I've used them at work, at school, and have had basically all over my friends own Apple products.
  10. I've never bought an Apple product. Ever. Not out of spite or anything, just because i've never found use for any of their products personally compared to their price. I may buy an iPod someday, who knows. As you elude, Apple sell probably the most overpriced electronic products on the market. Their computers are insanely overrated. You pay at least 30% more for inferior hardware/speed. Same with those Sony laptops. Ridiculous. Frankly, iPods are extremely over-priced compared to even a Sony MP3 player of greater storage capacity. I find the whole iPad craze stupid. They are almost useless and overpriced out the ass, unless you REALLY love to read e-books on the go or something, but even then there are cheaper alternatives. Maybe their one meaningful use is if you want to play iPhone games/apps on a bigger screen. Just buy a netbook and get 3x the power and functionality. *Rant over.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Hv0Ldkh_0s Get well Tony Iommi!
  12. World Bank =/= world banks. some confusion in the title lol. Interesting story. They need to try anything to avoid war.
  13. I'd most definitely need to study the issue more closely.
  14. Wanted to add that the 2nd Congo War is the deadliest war since WWII. More casualties than either the Korean or Vietnam wars...yet barely anyone has heard of it and barely anyone reported it. Hurray for self-interest and heads in the sand, eh?
  15. A personal fav, by Daniel Johnston. For all the single people out there... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNXTh4A4uS0

  17. lol was gonna post this one! The original guitar virtuoso.
  18. Which is the reason why hardly anybody knows who Joseph Kony is, and the media barely reported this and its resulting 4+ million deaths and counting.
  19. Where are these fiscal conservatives you speak of?
  20. Capitalism usually means media produce what consumers want to consume. People like to watch their Daily Show and think they're informed. Cracking open a newspaper, or god forbid a book *gasp* (non-fiction that is), is too much work. Staying informed is indeed a lot of work, which really sucks for those (usually at the top) that benefit.
  21. This is classic, love it. Proves that rock & roll is an attitude, and you can even rock out on a piano!
  22. Metallica cover of "Die, Die My Darling" by the Misfits:
  23. Lol agreed! I'll add some horror-punk with the Misfits: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlQ3NK-yj0w
