The only benefits to deep integration would be to corporations who are already reeping unprecidented profits. I for one, as a Canadian, do not want to absorb the trillion + American war debts, war mongering ideology. Why should we have to share our resources with the USA? We don't, they are ours. Nor can they "fortress North America" what a ridiculous presumption that is on their part, and if anyone believes it, I got some land for sale. Jobs are being exported OUT of North America. Resources are being exported out of North America. There is no "fire walling" North America, it is propaganda that is trying to be sold to people as a bill of goods.

Well, even reading a full thread could help some as Israel quite clearly has made threats against Iran. While Irans thhrats, or lack thereof are still up for debate. Those same leaders should/are actually acting in a sane, and unbiased manner, unlike the current leader of Canada. Partisian remarks accusations, are spurious, as those who accuse others of doing so, are the ones being partisian by their doing so. Complaints and discussion about one's country's leader, is not partisian, it is legitimate action. Funny though, they tried saying that type of thing with Bush, to try and avoid truthful criticism of the government by citizens within their own country, and where did it get Bush, or indeed the USA as a whole?

So much for any government accountability under Harper and the CPC. Then we have the previously unaccounted for campaign donations worth 3 million. Makes the ad scam look small at 1 million. Now the CPC are having NO bid contracts, and secret meetings for deep integration that Canadians are against. In fact he is doing things on the sly with input from those at the Banff meeting. That is really transparent and accountable, eh? Again the proof is here in this thread, and cannot be denied. Harper has chucked aside decades long foreign policy, the proof is right here in this thread even. Harper has a barely functionable minority government, that he got only because of Zacardelli's, interference in the election with his making a press release stating the RCMP were investigating another corrupt Liberal politician. That tipped the scales, it cannot be denied. However, as we all found out after, that should have never happpened, the RCMP never does such things, and that not only was there nothing found, against all people Goodale, but we also found out Zacardelli is a liar! The CPC got a 1 time 12% bounce in voter backing only because people were deceived into believing the Liberals had more scandal upcoming when it was not true. Chretien had majority governments and that actually makes a mandate to do something, unlike minority governments that rely upon others to support them. Only Harper is not listening to the other 2/3rds of Canadians now is he. He won't even speak to the media in scrum, nor let MP's speak, and all media questions must be vetted first, for approval. Then of course we have Harper's ordering of far more military equipment that has NO purpose other than to lodge war, what is that other than war mongering? Moreover, he made only mention of air craft carriers in campaign, not all of this other stuff on top. And he just announced the purchase of even more tanks. The companies have not all of a sudden sprung up to do the mundane, all the contracts have gone to Halliburton, or subsiduaries of Halliburton, with direct ties to Cheney, Rumsfeld and the Bush family, or Becthal, also tied to the Bush admin, Carlyle or subsiduaries of Carlyle like Global crossingsa again with ties to the Bushes and the US admin. Nope sorry, it applies, the government does all sorts of conract deals with free enterprise, like purchasing or hiring; military equipment, vehicles, technological services, printing services, construction trade work, all types of different professional services and many other things. As such, our medical services are already part of the "free market" and we are purchasing them from the "free market".

I agree with those predictions CatchMe. Remember, I'm not really much of a CPC advocate anymore, I don't like alot of Harper's policies... I just happen to think the Liberals are far worse and completely out of touch with the West in Canada. Why should anyone pay we have a right to access universal health? And no, I do not have to accept your proposal, nor does anyone else. Because you personally believe people should be able to access health based solely upon their money in the bank, or lack thereof, does not mean I have to, nor anyone else. From that perspective, all that transpires between conception and delivery are solely the the concern and business of the woman facing this.
