Is it fair the Federal Government diverted 56Billion generated as an EI fund, and gave it away to the very companies throwing hundreds of thousands of people out of work? Is it fair that the Federal Conservatives did this with 8 Billion dollars in 2 short years and then ran up a huge deficit to boot. Is it fair that the Canadians Federation of Independent Business is fighting EI increases because the Conservative Government Blew the EI FUND on their Friends and Pals. Watch as the Conservatives have their butts handed to them, and back down on the EI increases, because we have had enough of contributing so much in terms of BILLIONS AND BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars only to have these clowns waste it on their Pals and Pork Projects.

The Collapse of a Government - In CBC Headlines
madmax replied to ToadBrother's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
That is such a cop out answer in the best of circumstances. And utter rubbish in the real terms. The CBC is always fingered as being a Liberal voicepiece. Now with the Shit hitting the fan, and a cumulation of bad government finally making the general public rise up and take notice, You of all people pull out the weakest statement one could make. Come on Voltaire... I know u can do better.... -

Ontario Utilities Donating to Liberal Party

Good thing Hudak supports public Utilities funding Political Parties. Gotta love those useless hypocritical PCs. They are always so full of themselves and IT. -
When Fortier quickly became Harpers go to guy some years back, I recognised then, that the Conservatives got an operative in key money places with the intent to behave as poorly as the Liberals did when they were abusing their power and our finances. Conservatives were quick to adopt these Liberal Practices. It will be interesting to watch them bury this story, but even the Liberals couldn't hide things forever. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/canada/breakingnews/ex-minister-manipulated-contract-for-federal-real-estate-sell-off-ndp-105392493.html

Myata vs. the Westminster System

Wow, that really sucks. Followed by a tentative sense of relief As far as I know, ditto. Same here, I was very confused by the Thread Title. -
LOL... If I can't argue with Argus, Guyser and WildBill on a issue I may have to leave.... I don't think Fantino has a snowballs chance to win in any riding other then a Conservative stronghold where a manneqin could win if someone put a blue jacket on it.

Good Post.. My friends putting up these turbines work for Danish, Irish, and Korean companies in the installations. They are one shot deals. My other friends are in Korea (SOUTH LOL) working on power stations and delivery systems so that they can come here and displace our facilities. Its brilliant... if you are Korean..

For every Coal Plant we intend to "Close" China opens up 10 to meet our consumption demand in consumer goods. Ontario was far more environmentally friendly and effiecient then many G8 nations. But considering how much Ontario used to punch above its weight in manufacturing, what is happening now is an embarrassment. As far as I am aware, there is only one atmosphere around this planet, and some people think that we can reduce our electricity production and consume more without a direct effect on the environment. The math doesn't work. Open the wallet we are going to pay more for less. And we are going to do less and rely on others for both our goods and our power.

I fully agree. I don't see anyone doing it differently. Actions speak louder then words and it was when Eves was in power that many companies that rely on Internal Generation and forging that the PCS drove away. Many companies saw the changes in the electricity market and made their plans then to get out of Dodge. But McGuinty doesn't have a clue what to do and his ears are only good for piercing.

As soon as I read this I had tears in my eyes... On another note.... Argus, Guyser and Wild Bill all on the same page (And Argus in his traditional Blunt form take no prisoners pit bull style) .. Marxist Lennonist, or NDP LOL.... Snowflake/hell Sorry guys, er.....m but Saipans comments supporting Fantino are very persausive and I just can't envision hell freezing over... If you three Guys would be open and honest and tell me what u really think, without all the sugar coating, I might buy into it ....

Harper Conservatives, Meet the McGuinty Liberals. With Reform Gone, it looks like the NDP have picked up the slack in keeping an eye on these questionable if not illegal government backroom deals. While I am not surprised that the McGuinty Liberals are in up to their necks, I never expected anything different from them. Unfortuneately this band of Conservatives are reminding me of Mulroney Conservatives (and the resulting rise of Reform). The only difference is, I expected this from Mulroney, and this current government is hypocritical and has betrayed half their roots.

Gotta love these PCs... I think this bill goes hand in hand with another major crises. The Liberal bill to go after those Cigerrette Butttss.. Yes, in these trying economic times, Conservatives and Liberals join forces in getting their priorities straight.

Entertainment isn't about the left or right. Its why Maher and Coulter spent lots of time out at night partying and drinking together. And considering the nonsense of our present government, I suggest that this "Famous Lawyer" Represent George Galloway. Both are great entertainers and you could imagine the fireworks these two could set off. It would also make them lots of money, media exposure and more talk show appearances.
