  1. Well this is fun. From the National Post picture.. it shows the Cinder Blocks Apart from the NIGHT OF THE ENCOUNTER.... http://nationalpostnews.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/dsc_2931.jpg And from the Rob Ford Press conference.. they are stacked.... https://twitter.com/#!/JProskowGlobal/status/198179328343805952/photo/1 And the neighbor ( who is no longer speaking to the media) claimed to have seen Dale standing on Stacked blocks seen in the latter picture from his 2nd story....
  2. Yup, its going to cost money. And if there is an indictment it will be worth every penny. What I find interesting is that there is a trail of discussion about WHO heard WHAT in the affidavits so far. And there are parties within the local campaign and national campaign office discussing the merits of voter suppression.
  3. I remember people wearing clown masks at a protest... they were of Brian Mulroney... Oh, wait, I also saw Joe Clark, Jean Chretien, .. no Paul Martin masks that I am aware of... and I am sure there are some Steve Harper masks but I have never seen one. I just realized how rediculous this is getting.
  4. The Conservatives didn't win illegaly. The Conservatives did steal money from the tax payer for their in and out scheme in 2008 and admitted as much. Conservatives are involved in the midst of an investigation in which all evidence of Electoral Fraud is leading to Conservatives. BUT!!! Regardless of the foolish behaviour and who was behind it, in both sets of circumstances I believe the Conservatives would still have their majority today. All that the actions of the Conservatives have done is reduce their Credibility. It takes ALOT for voters to say... TOSS THE BUMS OUT!!! So far the Public has wanted the Conservatives in, and that is what the vote reflects. On the other side of the pendulum is when, and if all the questionable/Fraudulent or more importantly the lack of accountablility and accounting is enough and understood by the electorate come the next election. The public was accepting of the liberal actions because they did enough good stuff to allow the voting public to look the other way or ignore those transgressions. But once everything started adding up, the writing was on the wall. But it WASN'T Scandal that took the Libs down, it was the internal fighting and the public had seen enough. I find the Conservative government underwhelming and disconnected. Its also very non transparent and far and away nothing like the Reform Party had advocated when it came to government transparency and honesty. Most people won't care the government kept two sets of books. Most won't care that the government makes poor omnibus US style bills. But eventually people will tire of a government and it runs out of steam. Look at how Bad the BC LibraCons were and yet only now have the public rebelled.
  5. I disagree. However, Its rather ironic that people are cheering Ford for running a surplus on the back of the Land Transfer Tax. Miller had Higher Surplus IIRC. Its same old same old, except that Ford is Providing alot more entertainment. I think he will get re elected just because he is a controversially and entertaining clown. He wasn't of much value as a councillor and he isn't much of a Mayor, but he has a great electoral track record.
  6. There is a Publicly Owned Real Estate Company or Publicly Owned Bank you deal with???
  7. I think you have hit the nail on the head.
  8. No doubt. The Liberals kept all their pet projects going and all their insiders will continue to be lined up for their handouts. I figure Witmer had enough of Witless and it was time to move on, so no surprise the Liberals were there for her with a handout. It ironic that the Liberals would blame the NDP for their credit rating. 1) Credit ratings are based on "Opinion" as evidenced by Credit Rating Agencies, who had to testify regarding the 2008 collapse of Lehmans. Even more worrisome is that credit ratings could be "purchased" with enough grease. So the agencies had already had it in for McGuinty. He is not doing as they required. But the NDP actually got him more monies to pay down the debt. So, he would be worse off without NDP proposal.
  9. Does anyone know which Provinces have spelling on the curriculum? Its pretty clear to me that Since the Mike Harris PCs, Spelling went on the backburner and never returned. And if it did, its not apparent on this forum. I realize when grammer took a back seat, but it appears like we have more and more spelling illiterates on forums. I realize the odd keyboard mistake, text mistake, typo, or simply just making a spelling mistake, but what I currently see is many posters can't spell basic words, and its not just a simple mistake or an error here or there. This isn't about shorthand texting..... its about a lack of skill development. I see foreign students able to spell English and its not their first language. I am seeing people on these forums who I might suggest would have difficulty spelling CAT if they were spotted the _AT . Perhaps its because they See KITKAT I don't know. I do know that the spelling on this forum especially from some recent posters is attrocious. Its actually embarrassing. While I don't use a spell checker and make mistakes, especially on late night or rushed posts... I don't think thats the case with many posters here. Has our education system created spelling illiterates? Also, if you are a really really really really bad speller, there is a spellcheck link you can use to check your post. I haven't installed it, but for some here.. I suggest you consider it. So.. I would like to know when or what grades spelling ends in Ontario.. Then I would like to know what other provinces do as I believe some on these forums are from other provinces and spell perfectly. Is it an age thing, depends on when you went to school... or is it a Provincial thing .. and not being taught.. And how many mistakes are in this post lol...
  10. Hmm, I am a pretty tolerant person. I have even had some here at one time or another get under my skin. I have also been subject to warnings. I personally leave a little leaway when someone makes a passionate argument with some facts.. even somewhere in a thread, before blowing a gasket or sounding off. I see a trend in your posts. Some people here who can make personal attacks, I also know can make stand up arguments whether or not I agree with them. I suggest you spend some time learning to discuss something. Try some facts. Try to establish a dialogue. Try to realize this is a discussion forum on politics.
  11. Conrad Black is a Convicted Criminal. He is self absorbed with his own self and his criminal activities including jailtime. The Conservative Government is his enabler and always will be there for the Criminal Lord Black of Crossharbour. On another note... I came across a poll in that 83% did not approve of the Government bringing back Conrad Black. If only it could be 99% but then again, 17% could be die hard Conservatives and only read the National post.
  12. I think he wants to change the narrative on the 99%.
  13. Some were disciplined, and some were repeat offenders. I expect the same from this.... Much like Police Officers do not wish to be identified, and apparently neither do many protestors. I expect a number of officers did nothing wrong (except remove their ID) and I expect many protestors did nothing wrong either. however.... If I recall correctly, the Government rounded up hundreds upon hundreds of UNMASKED individuals in Toronto and Even Arrested Private Security Staffers who were protecting buildings and zones as the Police allowed illegal activity to purposely be unengaged on the first day only to round up anything that moves the 2nd day.... Forest Gump would be proud.
  14. Are you suggesting that there will be no charges or convictions? Are you suggesting that there was no impersonation of Elections Canada or Elections Fraud? I cannot answer the first question, as there are many crimes committed that will never end up with charges or convictions up to and including murder. But that doesn't mean you don't investigate. But I can answer the 2nd question. There was Elections Fraud. It doesn't matter who did it, as much as that it was done and needs to be identified and stopped. What is interesting , from the very start of this story breaking, is that many Conservative Supporters on this forum have been against any kind of investigation and want this to go away. Others would like it to run its course before passing judgement (which is fair). But for people to suggest... that someones is aquiring the Conservative CIMS lists, the Conservative Racknine Authorization Accounts, and impersonating Elections Canada, but this is just a waste of time, money and effort, are missing the point. Same as those employees who worked for RMG and have sworn an affidavit that they were told to change their scripts to say they were from Elections Canada and these people actually contacted Elections Canada and the RCMP and were ignored the first time. Now it appears there concerns are being taken seriously and for the Conservatives to NOT take seriously that someone is manipulating their CIMS is absurd if not outright incompetent.
  15. I can see the G20 being embarrassing. And considering Tony Clement was able to divert funding from Border to put up a Gazebo in his riding... I understand the immediate need to pass this bill. I doubt a banning on masks is going to prevent riots. It may make people more supsceptible to various gasses. I have little use for the Anarchists who purposely destroy property or those in Enforcement who incite such activity or covertly create it in order to subvert the group infiltrated. What will be interesting is how many people who wear facial protection and coverage will be affected by this law and how well thought out is it. Considering how poorly this government is performing, I can see that this is a major announcement.
  16. The evidence has been deleted, I am sure we will see the timeline in that it was deleted. It would require A Senior Campaign Operative to delete these files. Prescotts computer has been traced to the uploading and downloading of the CIMS files that the Conservatives say they don't use... but Christian Conservatives Computer seems to have used those files... With the way the Lawyers are ponying up.. it appears there are certain Conservatives are getting the Conservative Lawyer and other Conservatives Ops who will have to find their own legal council.... Are we back to Sona again? I think I pulled him from the poll... best I dig that out again...
  17. Perfect... Then there is no excuse for the Harper Government to hide behind... ....he is a convicted criminal... and it is a position of convenience...But anything beyond this is pure Wente...isms....
  18. U mean he could have asked Bev Oda for one of her NOTS
  19. He chose his country! He chose the UK. Some people would have chosen to remain Canadian. He is a Canadian of Convenience.
  20. While I would have been just as happyif Khadr has renounced his Canadian Citizenship as Conrad Black has... Khadr spent many many years in a Military Prison and the Harper Government has done as much as possible to try to prevent him from returning. He is coming because he is the last one on the island and the US needs a place for him to go. Conrad is fast tracked into the country and is reunited with his loving Conservative Family. Ironic since many people without a criminal record are often rejected at the border... Now your talkin...
  21. I am sure that we will see more evidence and follow where it goes...
  22. I believe you will be getting him back soon. IIRC there are a myriad of civil suits he will have to defend against.. I can't believe he got into Canada so quickly. I figured US would send Lord Black of Crossharbour to the UK. Then he should have applied to come to Canada... Seems the Harper Government can keep out some and welcome others...
  23. Are you 100% certain... cause I don't know for sure, I thought if you were born here you were Canadian regardless of parentage? Just askin...
  24. Or a member of the military... Regardless, its time we have dental coverage... I think people need to realize if its good enough for Refugees its good enough for us...
