  1. I don't agree with your methods. Act first go to court later if required. Just make sure you have the right principles in your actions. None the less that is a little off topic from this discussion. While I did say I can do whatever I want because I am guided by reason and morality, I did indicate individuals who commit indictable offences are open to arrest, and people who commit summary charges may very well if they are not compliant with an agreement for follow up. I am in right though so yes I can do what I would like. This discussion is not about me though. You telling me has next to no weight in my reason if what you tell isn't the truth. You have a false position on the difference between exercising a freedom, and exercising a freedom while committing a crime. Exercising the freedom is not the crime. The crime is the crime, the two are seperate. You don't support the principles of a free society so you have no influence on my determination in doing what is right, as I support a free society. You support oppression. I don't agree with your position. My general feeling about your telling is "go to hell, its where you belong"
  2. This is a bit like all the fast food restaurants in Alberta hirering temporary foreign workers so they can pay them 15% under the minimum wage Canadian workers would cost. (which accounts for 60% of temporary Skilled foreign worker applications in Alberta or something absurd like that Personally I think businesses should be able to hire who they like, and minimum wage shouldn't exist, none the less I can understand how workers could feel upset they are being passed over for foreigners intended for "skilled workers" when the jobs are largely unskilled. customer service requires the right personality but requires little skill.
  3. Gambling would be more ethical if it was only available who were not in debt and made more than the poverty line, as well as a cap on percent over poverty line income of 1-5% per year. example someone earning $40,000 per year could gamble and loose no more than $500-1000/year Someone making $30,000 about $250-500 someone making $25,000, $50-250 to remove the gambling addiction issue and negative impact on low income earners who can't afford to gamble.
  4. Arbitrary detention. My gosh Google translate exists... they had access to the internet why not use google translate to translate polish and english? http://translate.google.com Witam, Mam na imię Barney, musimy cię zabić, jeśli nie współpracują.
  5. The school of common sense. I'm not a sheep. I don't need a doctor to tell me what science already has. I'm familiar with the events and i know the guy was both over excited, out of control, and physically responsive which all indicate potential adrenaline intoxication and high adrenaline levels. The reason he was tasered according to the original story was because he became physically agressive (an indication of adrenaline intoxication. His fight flight mechanism was engaged and he was entrapped creating a feedback effect on his psychological state. Doctors arn't gods, I have enough medical knowledge and knowledge of the situation to tell you what happened. If adrenaline was not a factor the mounties lied about the situation, and they tasered a calm individual, which would indicate intentional homicide and a cover up. http://hcmcmn.org/index.php?content=physicianInfo&sid=116 http://www.forbes.com/profile/mark-kroll/ Adrenaline itself is the major factor in the need to have multiple applications of a taser so it is somewhat self fullfilling that heart failure will be more likely in individuals under psychotic adreniline intoxication. The guy was worked up for quite some time, provoked and frustrated multiple times... visibly agitated.. this is a no brainer, he must have had incredibly high adrenaline levels leadering up to the multiple taserings. The taser was the instrument of death, but there were definitely other factors which lead to it being lethal specifically the effect of adrenaline, over a prolonged period of elevated stress, frustration, and rage. The sympathetic nervous system's general action is to mobilize the body's nervous system fight or flight response. He was already electrically saturated before he got hit, due to adrenaline saturation of his body that is why it took mulitple tases. A much more effective taser would first send out a striping field such as a high magnetic pulse, then send out the electrical charge. It would reduce the need for multiple activations of the electrical charge. Although anyone agitated especially over an extended period of time is a lethality threat, and other system such as "body foam" or knock out gas, would be better alternatives First off target strike to legs, of having the person stand somewhere that foam adhesive could be deployed from the floor. having a "foam gun port" into the room would provide defense without needing to physically engage None the less an alternative to tasers is needed for psychotics and people who have been agitated. -- although one must note that the taser under these circumstances is only useful for unprovoked self defence. Police not provoking the fight flight response might be a good start to non lethal use of weapons. Example they could have superman or panda suits for psychotic incident response or Barney the dinosaur suits. who would loose it on barney ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KGXiaRmvZ4
  6. The doctor is wrong, his heart rate was elevated due to adreniline, brought on by his rage, and physical exertion. Doctors arn't always right. What they are looking for is unnatural causes. He probably would have lived if he didn't have a high level of adrenaline in his system.
  7. Not entirely true, the Scottish sovereignty movement is actually quite strong, and the leadership in Scotland is moving toward a referendum on that point... Currently they control their domestic policy, and are very close to seperating from the UK. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_independence_referendum,_2014 Now Welsh sovereignty that is another matter.
  8. Well this is one person who cares, so much so I felt morally obligated to write Stephen Harper and suggest he talk with Raymond. It is unfortunate when people can't be real, the loss of a life due to willingly letting it happen is just a very inhumane thing you don't want in your country's leadership. Especially when so many Canadians do value environmental safety. I think that most municipalities and provinces would also expect consultation on use of their land for toxic waste dumping. I don't understand why the PM and the rest of the government cannot understand that people should be able to voice their issues and communicate to remove issues. No one should have to put up with having toxic waste dumped into their water supply and their food source's watersupply. I don't think I can ever support someone who ignores such a serious statement that will lead to the loss of life. Someone willing to die for a cause is great, however letting someone else die to ignore an issue is a poor trait. There isn't any demands attached to this other than to take first nations seriously. Ignoring a hunger strike, ain't taking the issue seriously. He has time to award Hockey Order of Canada awards but not call up a native chief who is killing himself because the guy is ignoring the fact natives don't like having toxic waste dumped into their water supply and their food sources water supply. That is just sick, and I am disgusted the Queen and governor general would let someone of that character continue to act as PM.
  9. Wow so Elder Grand Chief Raymond's hunger strike without water consumption is now at the week mark. Statistically he will die some time before this time nextweek. Kidney damage or failure is an increasing possibility at this point.
  10. Anyone else thinking it will be a nuclear test instead of a missile launch? I figure that North Korea will be forced to go ballistic on South Korea and/or Japan and the Aegis ships if it opts to launch - unless it is a "direct UP launch" into space..... ex. another satalite launch or to take out the NEO satalites however china might be pissed at that, so too russia. The only way they can't loose face without starting the modern Korean War (which may last only a week) is to perform another nuclear test. However strategically they will be at a loss because of now massive missile defences deployed, where they didn't exist before. They may also have been alienated somewhat by china, and have returned to Juche. My rating was 0.5% last week for events, it was upgraded to 3% a couple days ago. I think I'm sitting a about 27-28% that tomorrow, the 10th could see either a nuclear test which isn't that big of a deal us conducted like 900 of them. Or cataclysmic warfare for the peninsula and potentially surrounding countries which would devastate the US economic base as they are major us reserve currency holders, and major us trade partners. EIther they are returning to Juche to mark the 100 years of the Kim's or its going to go off...... NK has been massively massively pinned in over the last week there really is no going back. None the less I think people are flat out in denile that after 60 years very destructive war could resume, .... I think this is the closest it has come in the last 20-30 years. It has lost support to a certain extent.. and China is coming under increasing pressure to actually enforce sanctions, without China NK will be very very neutered. It will probably not be able to support its defence which is already quite thin supply wise. It is an end of an era, either they act, or they may have a hard time coming out of the sanctions. Of course this is 24 hours off so anything can happen, the ball is in NK's court, US is only defcon 4 so perhaps they don't expect anything. I think it is possible I would be at defcon 3 right now. I would definately consider going to defcon 2 on the 10th. In reality though I think there is about a 60% chance of a nuclear test tomorrow. Either they do the thing, or they are in for a rough ride since they are on the US hitlist their chance of being invaded will only increase as time goes on, especially without chinese veto. Nuclear test seems most likely, I think any war at this point is WAR... they can save face with a nuclear test. A launch is a gambit. A "surprise" attack may do all but when it gets down to it, ... lots of factors. It is 8pm they are 13 hours ahead of us... that means that midnight on the 9th to 10th is only 4 hours away. This as now their tourism industry is being called off for safety reasons... http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2013/04/09/north-korea-warning-evacuation-tensions.html Psychologically I think it going off is maybe at 47% now. in reality 42% sanctions will bite hard, consider North Korea is already dependent on foreign aid which is being hard loved away. while they have also started to effectively shut down two of their domestic economic means of foreign currency first the complex now tourism is being shied away. Kim Jong Un's standing is also being put into the equation. The west won't cave, and one might expect it to get very ugly in North Korea without foreign aid, and sanctions, although China is still not fully complying with the UN sanctions. I was all $200 nothing will happen, now I am 50 cents to a dollar something will happen. but still think that a nuclear test is most likely.... if it is anything else it will go off. We could be 3 hours and 45 minutes away from the biggest single exchange in the history of mankind since the battle of the bulge. Note the bible does say this is suppose to happen clearly outlined in the code of revelations, but I think that it is hard to believe it will. Almost time for bed. People do not want to believe it will happen. Anyone want to take my friendly bet $1 it happens 1 for 1. I'll only take a few bets at this rate. I should have the odds here like 1:10. or 1:100 cause you all think that North Korea isn't going to start it up... I'm still not convinved but this is since the end of the cold war like the #1 big chance, and quite the diversion since this is North Korea opting for war.. not playing on NATOs/USs schedule. There have been more lopsided battles such as the American War of Independence. None the less if anything happens it will be a game changer for Korea. Although North Korea tends to agree with my assessment The trigger is what remains unknown.... All biblical signs point to spring... hilarious to get into bible prophesy... as it always ends up people wake up, things don't happen and you wait for the next event. None the less it does line up with prophesy. Kim Jong Un is a gamer...............................51% I was right about Fukashima, this is very convincing, and is what I predicted just before Fukashima.......... of course no one will believe unless it happens. right.
  11. lol it is a one room office, the americans have a compound bigger than the presidential palace. How does proping up Iraq help Canada's oil based economy? The US was only oil under Bush The US is anti oil currently. Obama is all about transition to a non oil based economy and energy self sufficiency example http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/03/19/obama-reveals-plan-to-get-u-s-cars-off-oil-using-tax-payer-subsidized-firm-that-has-yet-to-produce-a-battery/ of course hey maybe keystone will be approved.. http://www.inquisitr.com/609041/keystone-xl-oil-pipeline-decision-from-obama-coming-soon/ has there been any foreign policy movement there from the Harper Government? Hello Mr. President could you have some more? None the less but I sense that while 66% of Americans support Keystone 50% of them are republicans. Of course Obama is somewhat non partisan so I wouldn't be suprised if Keystone is approved, but at the same time I would not be suprised if it wasn't. None the less I've heard absolutely no pressure from the Federal government to make it happen, unlike the Windsor Detroit Bridge. Obama of course has the leadway of being in his second term. John Kerry as secretary of state, might perhaps think about running a president again, maybe not.... none the less it is his decision more or less and he would be alienating a whole lot of democrats. Joe BIden, also would likely be plauged by keystone being approved. to a lessor extent. Its an issue. not a big issue but an issue. US foreign policy ain't based around oil anymore, it is based around trade.America needs trade growth in order to not collapse. Major things like Horizon BP, and China and Russia running out of oil, means the US can't afford to keep fueling an oil based economy. Of course both Biden and Kerry are pretty damn old now. Bear in mind I don't have my finger on US politics and what the outcome of the next US election would be............. I'm actually very mystified by After the Obama and what it presents to America and the world. http://www.forbes.com/fdc/welcome_mjx.shtml
  12. Most of Trudeau's supporters are seniors and over 50 not kids as you'd like to believe. Harper is fading, I don't think he has a rebirth instore, more people are getting tired and turned off by him. I suspect he will totally loose the native vote in the next election, which is an ever increasing segment of the population (birth rate is way higher, and it accounts already for 10% of Canadians - it matters more because next election they arn't disaffected, they were effected heavily by the governments non action so if it keeps up more will turn out to vote, in places like Manitoba that matters). He will likely have a personally popularity under 40%, which will probably be less than Trudeau's meaning Trudeau will likely take the swing vote. I think at this point it will still be a good election but I think the Liberals will probably split most of BC with the NDP. I think there are also going to be more liberal and NDP seats in the Praries. Alberta will probably mostly hold as a conservative stronghold, but it is important to note the party has been on a decline in Alberta year on year since Kline, the party itself has become totally different, the strong federal support for the far right wildrose may wake the red tories in Alberta up a bit, and Urban centers such as Calgary and Edmonton have had increasing support for the non Conservative flag, They could loose a seat or two in Calgary even. Still a lot of time to go, however The liberals weren't that far behind the conservatives in the last election, they just didn't get the seats... none the less there is no second rebirth for a party that has been in close to 10 years. Harper has next to no chance to bring his popularity up its down 3 % since last year and will probably fall a 3-5 points further by the next election, if no major scandals pop up, which for the most part the party has deflected and ignored, which is surprising considering the number of ethics breaches... none the less I think many people who voted conservative in the last election will be supporting the liberals this time around, and that means the liberals will pull in more of the vote and more of the seats. At this point the most the Conservatives can hope for is a minority, and that is if they perform well and judging by the last 7 years I don't think that is going to happen. They are aiming for the "deficit" to be reduced while they have loaded up on debt. The global economy ain't improving either, there is a massive drag, and the Chinese can play around with their currency to effect it. The middle east is a total quagmire, of supposed radical islamic fundamentalism now running the countries, this after a 10 year war to eliminate al qaeda the islamic fundamentalists... now the US is actively putting them in power. supposedly. Canada lost massive overseas petrol resources in Libya and Syria, and the enviornment over there is not good for investment. That cuts out one of the largest parts of the world as a secure point of investment. The Eurozone is precarious, the US has turned off oil sands development to a certain extent and environmental pressure will only continue to mount. Blah blah blah, things might continue to grow modestly but if the economy tanks further Canada will be in a recession. There has not been growth, DEBT HAS GONE UP. Canadians owe way more than they did 7 years ago. People can't retire in debt. With that more people are going to need handouts, and there are going to be more unemployed old people. This means social programs and healthcare costs will increase, or get slashed, and in that environment a lot of people are going to be turned off the right. All this may not happen over the next 2 and a half years, but I suspect it will continue to be a trend. lost, seasonal workers lost, first nations (what existed) lost, seniors and old people now getting 2 extra years of work before retirement this list will continue to mount, and people are going to start getting annoyed with Harper. I think Trudeau will draw more of the female vote also. The cards line up, Harper will probably keep big oil, and chauvinists and racists, most of the rest will be eroded greatly. Although I'm geussing the parties pandering to immigrants won't be well liked by their core support either. I think they have also lost some key immigrant communinities. The shift is inevitible, its just how hard it happens, and the NDP is a wild card between now and then, I suspect that they may be polling equal with the Tories by the time 2015 turns around and the liberals depending on their local players will resurge, the green party may also be faced with the reality that i they chip away at the liberal vote the environments risks way more damage under continued conservative mismanagement. Afghanistan is over... Al Qaeda lost, the Taliban are stronger than they were years ago, and radical islamic fundamentalism has taken over most of the middle east. I think lots of Canadians just voted for the war last time, that element is out also. the NDP platform will appeal to the "anti harper" crowd to a certain extent but i think a lot of conformists and people in the corporate sector will head over to the Liberals. At this point it should be a hotly contested election, still so far off, but I just have the sense the party will continue to tank, it is a downward spiral only tax breaks they can't afford to make could stop by getting the stupid people to vote thanks to the tax breaks. This not to mention the Monarchy and senate issue.... that should come more and more into the forefront.. and the fact the conservatives can't follow through on their platform from the last election... I think that they 1. arn't performing on their platform, and 2. the hold overs will sound a little stale after a decade of regurgitating the issues. THEY WERE GIVEN THEIR MAJORITY? What did they do? Anything? crack down on the mentally ill, criminals, first nations and other disadvantaged groups? I think they may loose more votes than gain votes with those successes. Oh I forgot just kill every environmental thing while the green economy is growing in billions each year. A conservative vote is a vote to pick on the marginalized of society. We love families as long as your are normal White Anglo Saxon Protestants, this sounds all too familiar. None the less that is my background but in analysis people will wake up one by one, and those votes will add up over time. Its the little things that count: http://o.canada.com/2013/04/08/hunger-strike-taking-its-toll-on-first-nations-elder-raymond-robinson/ This is a MAJOR card for the conservatives. This is pretty much going to be in the last 7 days and long term damages after tomorrow will be increasingly possible. Every day after tomorrow will increase the chance of death of this Manitoba elder. Harper has his chance to play knight in shinging armour, but will he respond? A lot of Canadians are going to be disturbed Harper will let this old guy die. It is a week tomorrow without food or water, I know from when I did a total fast without food or water in January and the research I did, IT IS CRITICAL the clock starts counting to the end of life tomorrow. 7 days without water is long enough for dehydration to be in full force. Dehydration usually leads to death within two weeks.
  13. This discussion belongs in local politics it is not a federal issue. the casino will bring in pseudo-service- tax revenue because 50% is larger than 7%. In additional to 50% it may draw in some income from tourism or nearby non GTA localities. So it will bring in revenue for the city. Of course there will be losers, losers and the odd winner, the city will win big regardless of who wins unless it operates at a loss. What are the odds of that? This isn't Toronto or any other government in Canada, it is a private company.
  14. yeah, there was probably contributing causes, but the taserings were likely a major factor in the heart failure. Was there some doubt in how being tasered multiple times and a heart attack occuring at the same time might be related. Tax dollars at work. with each additional application it leads to greater contractions and increased acidosis, with increases in acidosis heart rate increases... it is self fullfilling, if an already excited heart rate exists, there is cause to push the heart rate beyond safe levels and lead to heart failure. Obviously a highly stressed and adrenalin induced person will already have an extremely elevated heart rate so increasing heart acidosis can contribute to heart attack much more easily than tasering a calm individual, not that you should need to. Now if that individual already has high blood pressure it is even greater risk. These things are no brainers for anyone who understand the basics of medical science. However gun shots lead to blood loss and trauma... Obviously there is a flaw in how the mounties procedure exists 1. they should have contacted a polish translator or a polish consulate or embassy. That was the point of failure. If detaining foreign nationals you should immediately contact their consulate or embassy of that intent.
  15. Except the US's invasion plan includes b52's and b2.. and raptors not f35s b52s.. we could probably use them to replace the challengers too, just need to buy a few extra parachutes. They might have as much stealth as the f35's under full load too
  16. Where did you ask? Those treaties didn't meet with the proclamation. The British have time and time again violated their promises. The treaties are bilateral, the proclamation is a unilateral declaration. The last part is very big since all lands in Canada natives have the right to hunt by native rights that have been constitutionalized. This means effectively all of Canada natives may not be moletested or disturbed in "possessing those lands" Note that it is not just ceeded territories but also - hunting grounds. Natives have hunting and fishing rights to all of Canada. That means there is some ambiguity. In the meaning of "their possession" it more or less means it is their deeded land. And they have primacy as first holder. The crown needs to delegate it, read the proclamation yourself and realize this. http://indigenousfoundations.arts.ubc.ca/home/government-policy/royal-proclamation-1763.html The HBC issue is complex because of some ambiguity on the claims as well as their extent as of 1763. You don't seem to see the big picture. The bottom line it was their land and the proclamation has their hunting grounds as their possession even in cession. Treaties lie the Robinson treaties were a sham, the treaties are really full of it, if you study treaty law unbiased you will see all the bollocks in them. You can't just look at the treaties you have to look at the big picture of hsitory, and other primary source documents, memoires, news reports etc.. the picture is much different than highschool history classes. canadian history for that purpose is really glossed up and doens't really tell the truth, it is propaganda, thats why i can understand you are ignorant of these facts, because it is the status quo and even if it is continuation of corruption you feel jepordized by the truth. Its understandable but we needn't lie about these things, we must move beyond denile of the truth so we can be whole and live in the real world. he idea of possession is as old as the related concepts of private property and ownership. Our modern possession laws originated in the ancient Roman doctrines of possessio The act of holding; possession, occupation, control, occupancy. That which is possessed; a possession, property. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedis_possessio http://penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer/E/Roman/Texts/secondary/SMIGRA*/Possessio.html http://www.sicc.sk.ca/archive/saskindian/a90jan10.htm approximate HBC actual claim http://www.ec.gc.ca/eaudouce-freshwater/default.asp?lang=en&n=E94A4CCD-1 map of three colonies circa 1763 http://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.com/customcode/TCEMediaPopup.cfm?Language=E&ArticleID=A0006990&MediaID=2357&TB_iframe=true&height=612&width=885&modal=true So chunks of Ontario, Alberta and BC are native possession under the Proclamation. However even in as much, based upon hunting rights, all is. example S.C. (Powley) http://scc.lexum.org/decisia-scc-csc/scc-csc/scc-csc/en/item/2076/index.do R. v. Marshall (1999) etc.. You don't seem to get the crown is charged with protecting the possession of the First Nations. They are under the protection of the crown, but it is their possession. It is held by the crown in many instances but the crown is obligated to protect their right to be unmolested and free to use their land. In some cases it is a deed in other cases it is absolute (but all is established as allodial domain).
  17. Why stop at ethnicity, how bout we go to age too cause all them old people don't deserve pensions right, or how about kids getting that free education at the cost of the tax payer, or sex, lets just stop completely giving childrens benefits to mothers and give them to fathers instead or how about equally or no one. Everyone can fend for themselves. BUT HOLD ON ITS NOT ETHNICITY IT IS LEGAL STATUS.. you know lets stop treating law abiding people differently than criminals like the City of Montreal is doing or people who have civil claims in court and lawsuits to just deny any legal protection whatsoever, or how about married couples when someone is used in a relationship and dumped and have all the time and money they put into a relationship deprived from them. Fact is ITS NOT ETHNICITY it is legal status, they have a contract with the state, the state owes them due to law, not because they are brown or have a different language. THEY ARE OWED THOSE RIGHTS BY LAW. You are just ignorant and bringing up the race card against their legal rights IS RACISM because it is so imbred in you you are totally ignorant of that fact. Wake up, its not cause they dance and beat drums, its cause THEY ARE OWED ACCESS to the land, it is their land it is only contracted out to the crown provided the conditions of treaty are met that is money, and specific priveleges which vary such as education and medical access, but in general part of that is that all land west of the apallacians is for them to use, and that no settlement is allowed under the right of the crown west of the appalacians. IT IS FOR SOLE NATIVE LAND USE. You can travel there but the natives have primacy over use of the land, meaning it ain't your home it is their home, and you can only use it at their leisure. If they want to use it for something else then by the royal proclamation that is their land to use. Don't build your property there if you don't want it to fall into their land use. Reality check you arn't cool with that because you got the shaft on the deal because you had no idea about native land rights because the people who taught you got caught in the same trap. Then you have to resent them for being the masters of your land, you have to rob them and steal their land by covering up the fact it was there and is there. Well guess what you are not good, you are selfish and just pushing the lie, living in denile because you are selfish and greedy. Ateast admit it. I'm sure if your property deed or title was just handed over to someone else you'd be a little upset too. There are only two solutions for a good person 1. cooperate 2. leave Of course I don't expect either of those from people who are selfish and greedy and would rather kill a native than give them their land back if you had the choice. Its the whole basis of your indoctrination and thus your world veiw has perpetually been flawed by a lack of ethics and beleif that your treatment of the first nations peoples is acceptable because well you have a superior status to them because you are part of the government not a subjugated people. And the government is superior to the first peoples because it conquered them and it is master. Well you are wrong. First peoples have more rights than you. They are the masters of the land, and they have not been conquered they peaceably for the most part cooperated with an invasive culture from Europe and intermingled with them even with high levels of racism and abuse. Learn something about history and seriously question how you view the first peoples because without them you wouldn't be here today, they gave you life here in Canada. They are the foundation of Canada, and the disrespect I've seen in this thread shows either you people arn't Canadian or you have been indoctrinated into an inferior culture of degenerates. --- In closing just because law is old does not make it invalid. There is treaty still in effect from the 1300's. I'm pretty sure the magna carta 1215 and constitution 1867 are still in force. suck on an egg. Perhaps you can start your next post with I am an evil diabolical lusting and crazed vicious sadistic and ruthless person who would cut out the heart of anyone who tried to take what I felt was mine. I don't give a damn about the law unless it advances my causes. We must all now get our ghost costumes and defend what is ours. and atleast you can not be a delusional liar. smallc kapitalK This is NOT meant to be an insult, it is meant to be encouragement to be truthful, do not take it the wrong way. BTW I 110% support having a positive self image including cultural background which may include ancestory. I do not think there is a way to measure an absolute of specific genes being better than others for all things, nor any single culture that is a master race, this transcends to government in that no government is a master government. We as a free society and a society of individuals having equal rights can only seek to enhance the betterment of society as a whole. (However it is clear that some genes that create physical characteristics may benefit specific things, and that there is a high percentage of gene inheritence. I think this will be more realized when DNA manipulation becomes more normal in years to come when individuals can start selecting for gene traits, perhaps first for medical reasons, enzyme production etc.. One might think natives are better selected for Canada than Europeans Eugenically. .None the less, there are no absolutes. None of us are animals, and I think most of us would find it a challenge to live like them. It would actually take a better man to live as a beast because they must subdue their humanity, and achieve the majesty of nature. Personaly I am mystified by the mysteries of the windowen and other first peoples shamans and heritage, much as I am with European or other cultures, I see myself as human and that is where my pride comes from in being something which lives on the earth and struggle to maintain their humanity in a world of torments. World culture is remarkably similiar when you go back. We are facing many of the same primal issues. It is just a great complexity. I'm sure most of you are programmed by media and don't think for yourself, you arn't liberated from your desire to live. Yada yada, I think truthfulness is part of that, perhaps the second step is to realize if there are flaws in how you position your rights at the detriment of other peoples rights. Usually the first person holding the title to the land keeps it, not the person resold it by a third party. (This law was corrected a few years back in Ontario) None the less the point here is, sure you can be all political and culturally based but without law you are out of touch with modern society. Without rule of law all talk is meaningless other than to mobilize. Just realize they have a stronger heritage claim to the land. It is more part of their identity and their life than others from other parts of the world. You can see yourself as only having existed for as long as your birth certificate says. My identity however reaches back to beyond time. I am not flesh I am identity flesh only makes up part of that identity. Of course I am geusssing you read this remark, thats not a normal thing to say, and go on about your life as a programmed atomic play person with inklings of emotion and one drive to keep your propelled or your fears of not having anything to propel you, or having to look at yourself in the mirror of life. None the less cooperation is the key, cooperation of humans on a planet where the torment will draw ever closer in a race to escape it. In the end the worst torment is facing it, and it is you. Because it means you have lost your humanity. And that is the worst defeat an ego can ever face. Freedom only comes through oneness of the ego with the collective unconciousness and conscious emotion of humanity one that is positive and holds a future. Ok now you can go back to being a drag on existence but know you have the choice to reform yourself and devote your life to making the planet not end with your hate consuming you and ripping your humanity to shreds and everlasting oblivion.
  18. read the thread, as stated it is explained in from page 1 to about 9 when you got on and started your nonsense. You are back on ignore until you start making valid comments again.
  19. I would raise the point that you know it'd be nice to live in that world but unfortunately there are people with guns that won't just let me move to the tropics and do whatever the heck I want with the land down there. Reality check. We are stuck in this place together we need to cooperate otherwise we should just start the slaughter and that will do nobody any long term good because there is more to the world than your backyard. I'm all with you, have what you have, but the issue is there are other people that won't let me have what you have, and that is the problem. Do your kids or wife deserve your property? Even if they didn't live on it, where does your money go when you die? Does it go to your family or the government, or strangers? Reality check its probably mostly go to your family not colonizing people from some other country. Take a step back see where its at, and you will see thats not your house its some old native guys kids house. You just don't want to accept an equal basis of treatment. Either way its native land, the only basis you have of keeping what is yours by saying I deserve it they don't and ethically if they do the same its theirs too, even if you still maintain it. That is realist but that is not ccoperation. Finding a point of cooperation could save both as long as everyone is a realist. Prince Rupert died a hell of long time ago too you know.
  20. Still no reading of the thread. I've explained these points before, ... free education will benefit Canada and Canadians, removing $20,000 in lifetime taxes from taxpayers at the federal level alone, plus inflation adjustment. It will also reduce redtape, staffing overload, and duplication of services. Better yet, it will create pensions for those who funded the initiatives. This will save time, money, and improve quality of education by giving students more time to study and less time filling out paperwork and waiting in line. That is a fact which has been demonstrated in my comments. Why don't you do yourself a favour copy and paste all my comments in one big thread. Then see how true my statement is free education will benefit Canada and Canadians, removing $20,000 in lifetime taxes from taxpayers at the federal level alone, plus inflation adjustment. It will also reduce redtape, staffing overload, and duplication of services. Better yet, it will create pensions for those who funded the initiatives. This will save time, money, and improve quality of education by giving students more time to study and less time filling out paperwork and waiting in line. Is that repetitious enough for you. I know you get off on wasting my time. That seems to be part of your sickness.
  21. You are being pretty ignorant that the first nations that comprise about 10% of the population of Canada were here long before Canada was, and if not for their support from day 1 Canada would never have came to be. From the first cure to scurvy to helping settlments at Montreal, to helping with food source, building the economy with furs, allowing early scouting, defending against american invasion and on and on and on.. you are just simply ignorant of the fact, it is the natives land first, and the rest are people who immigrated later. Most of Canada is Indian land, it was only through unscrupulous land thieves that the perception largely fueled by racist sentiments changed those facts. It is not surprising you don't support a more enlightened, free and fair view of Canadian history. You are showing total ignorance of virtue in view of history, I can't see any information presenting why Indian ownership of Canadians land which most of Canada's wealth comes from shouldn't be recognized as contributions to Canada. You seem to have it in your head that the land is god given to everyone but the people who used it first. Everything in British common law says it is theirs, if not for massive amounts of racism that would be the case. You are forgetting the colonization and occupation of native lands, although not nearly as dishonourable as the US native history, it still is not honourable. Your position amounts to I'm ignorant, we can get away with stealing the land screw the natives. A very pompous, unenlightened and dastardly position. Canada is suppose to be about cooperation not unilaterial theft. They are major stakeholders in Canada.
  22. I'm confused can someone explain how $2 million in funding in the chemical weapons use investigation goes to "help secure" syrian chemical weapons..? http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/canada-provides-funding-to-secure-chemical-weapons-in-syria/article10828346/ When did the mandate of the investigation turn from investigating if chemical weapons were used and by whom, into, secure syrian chemical weapons stockpiles?
