Thanks - you saved me some typing. People need to know the difference between Interceptor, Air Superiority and Fighter/bomber in order to have an educated conversation on this. It could be argued that the technology used could have, with minimal changes, made the Arrow a good fighter/bomber and with a platform change the engines and aerodynamics 'lessons learned' could have eventually produced a great Air Superiority aircraft for it's time.

How has that proven that? They took out the Iraqi armed forces in not time flat. In fact, they took them out SO fast it was part of the problem with the insurgency after. An insurgency is an equal part political problem as it is military. People willing to kill themselves to kill you doesn't make the vistims any less professional or 'good' as you say. Your postings and politics are bizarre and non-sensicle in every one of the subjects that you post in. They are also quite often self contradictory. Have you not noticed this?

Unfortunately, although being poorly educated doesn't help - this is not entirely true. Many of the radicalized people are shown to be literate and educated. Canada has one of the best educaiton systems in the world and only last year a major terror plot was foiled. Same as in the UK where British born, and presumably, british educated, muslims resorted to terror. Complex problems are not solved with simplistic answers even if they sound all nice and PC-like.
