And your 'facts' should follow the legislation. There is a 2 year window. ie: if the boy is 16 and the girl is 14 there is no problem. legally not a dependant as soon as they turn 18, age of majority. for tax reasons, can still be filed as a dependant if still living at home and going to school. big difference there.
