Well said argus.... there was no fraud, or intent to commit fraud, simply a difference of opinion and accounting practices on how these very unclear rules can be applied.( which a lower court accepted). I haven't read up on the proposed pension reform but will as soon as I can so can't comment on how good or bad it is, I'm no financial expert either. Maybe we should all get various informed opinions before dumping all over it.

I tend to agree with Argus, the forum ain't what she used to be... Mind you, considering that Canada is ticking along quite nicely there's not a whole lot to complain about. It's quite an accomplishment on Harper's part just to keep a minority gov't going, not to mention he did us all a favour getting us out of that dreadful kyoto agreement and has managed the economy very well in a global recession.
