I believe it is (the work of a few rogue party members) naturally and so far there`s no evidence of any organized collusion by the party. Exactly. But the previous post about keeping it up as long as possible is what is happening. Even though there is no proof of anything yet, only innuendo and speculation, they can keep running the speculation enough times to plant the seeds. The timing of the recent piece from the CBC is also suspect as it is a week before the 3 by elections.

If Hamas accepted Israel's right to exist, quit threatening Jews with genocide, quit firing rockets on a daily basis, quit kidnapping and generally agreed to live in peace, there would be peace and some agreement. Israel is not a 'terrorist state', it is Hamas, Palestine who are the terrorists. Israel has every right to destroy rockets and munition dumps used to fire missiles on a daily basis into Israel.

Not even a single casualty - you must be behind in your news. Palestinians 'helpless', really, Hamas could be a lot more helpful if it chose to govern, build and lead the people, but instead, they choose to spend their money on rockets and war.

I'm saying that Israel has to be very mindful of casualties because no matter what they do, their left wing detractors scream and rant about Israel while ignoring the terror attacks, kidnappings and continual missile attacks etc. etc. committed by Hamas. Hamas can kill, maim, deliberately aim missiles at schools (this week) hide in schools, hide behind women and children, kidnap soldiers and others. Missed it, will look for it. Hamas has been launching terrorist attacks on Israel's civilian population using moresophisticated projectiles with a longer range smuggled into Gaza from Iran and Libya. It's time that Israel got serious and does a real job of cleaning out Hamas. However, I'm not sure that Israel can completely defeat Hamas mainly because they have to be careful about civilian casualties whereas Hamas doesn't care. Hamas knows that as long as that the left pressures Israel to give away land, they can continue to kill and terrorize. Found it... Egypt is now a wild card in this now they are ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood. Hopefully they won't do anything radical !

Israel is acting in self defense, Israel has retaliated against the militant Hamas Islamist org. with a targeted strike after Hamas fired hundreds of rockets into Israel over the last few days. The strike killed Ahmed Said Khalil al-Jabari who was responsible for several terror attacks against Israeli civilians, the kidnapping of Gilad Shalit and the firing of thousands of rockets into Israeli population centres.This also destroyed a majority of of Hamas' long-range missiles (sent illegally by Iran) At least Pres.
