  1. A fine ? Paul Magder the guy who hired Ruby (who did it pro bono) can hardly talk, he's the guy who broke the law numerous times but he goes after Ford - what a hypocrite Magder is. I also believe that there's been a lynch mob after him since the get go, determined to get him out of office no matter what. I agree with Argus. The Toronto Star is probably celebrating right now.
  2. huh, all 500.. apart from that, he published an erroneous article and didn't even check with the riding who did produce the cheques.
  3. The Tyee is about the most hard left anti Harper blog around. However, there are many people who attend church but don't believe or subscribe to all it's dogma, Catholics are an example. How many Catholics including our previous Prime Ministers should not be attending the RC Church according to your lights... Just more fear mongering which hasn't and isn't coming to pass. Canada is the only country with no abortion laws at all but fortunately our doctors have ethics and know where to draw the line.
  4. Daniel Dickens has some questions for Maher and is there a leak at Elections Canada http://www.danieldickin.ca/2012/11/is-leak-at-elections-canada-providing.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+DanielDickin+%28Daniel+Dickin%29
  5. So Justin Trudeau Would Take Liberals to a Majority is now, Harper's hidden agenda... After his the broo ha ha over his anti Alberta remarks do you think he'll still win the leadership.
  6. How do you know what their values are, do you attend that church? How do you know anything about what Harper's religious beliefs are because he never discusses it. Anything said in that regard is pure speculation.
  7. For fans of context, here’s the full interview – he plainly says: "Canada doesn't work because Albertans are in charge" http://lesfrancstireurs.telequebec.tv/occurrence.aspx?id=134 Even the NDP have a problem with J. Trudeau Jrs. mea culpa. I wonder why David McGuinty had to resign but not Trudeau. http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Politics/2012/11/23/20380266.html
  8. Partly sure, but now's a good time to hear what he has to say in French, that he doesn't say in English. We outside of Quebec don't always here what these guys say there, which often a tad different or not said here. His father was good at that too.
  9. The Maher File: Who let the air out of this manufacturered scandal :)-

  10. It appears that it really was a phony story by Maher, Fred Delorey says he was never even asked to produce the cheques. If this is true, how will Post media deal with Maher? https://twitter.com/FredDeLorey
  11. http://www.vancouver...2976/story.html Original piece http://o.canada.com/2012/11/22/eleven-donors-to-conservative-riding-say-they-never-gave-the-money/
  12. You don't know that was the read, I doubt it was, sheez, you guys take speculation and so on to a whole new level.
  13. The story this morning about a conservative riding producing cheques after a piece by Maher alleging they didn't exist proves that we should be very careful and wary about believing everything we read in the media.
  14. As far as I know they are co-operating, last thing I read anyway said "the party was cooperating with Elections Canada" I have written asking questions, they say they are. I don't believe everything I read in the papers, and certainly not a lot of of the windy speculation on here. No one knows for sure about any of it, especially Elections Canada. Let me know when there is conclusive evidence of anything.
  15. Sheez, are you drinking the kool aid or what
  16. More here, the U.S. is also pressuring them to stop the bid. http://www.jpost.com/DiplomacyAndPolitics/Article.aspx?id=286660 Israel has opposed all Palestinian unilateral statehood bids at the UN, fearing that it would harm the peace process by empowering Palestinians to wage a diplomatic war on Israel. Israel has called on the Palestinians to pursue statehood through a negotiated two-state solution that would end the conflict between them. “We hope the Palestinians will seriously rethink their strategy,” an Israeli official told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday. “If they chose to do this it will be a mistake. It will hurt peace and it will not bring the realization of a Palestinian state forward, it will push it back,” the official said.
  17. Looks like they are going to worry more about him not being there than worrying how to manage their economies.
  18. No one is deeming any of this okay, facts is all that's wanted, just the facts and a conclusion. Elections Canada doesn't seem able to able to do it and reaching out to talk to people isn't going to cut it. Anyone can give an opinion and talk, just let's get to the bottom of it. In the meantime, there are no facts and no conclusions.
  19. Where there's smoke, there's usually fire. Just not always in politics, especially when it comes to the robo call narrative.
  20. By the sounds of it, it's not Harper doing the whining
  21. Doesn't matter to the Hamas/terrorist apologists, anything they do is ok.
  22. Where there's smoke, there's usually fire. Just not always in politics, especially when it comes to the robo call narrative.

  23. You don`t know that, you have no evidence of any such thing.
  24. Disgusting behaviour from the dregs of humanity, although there isn`t much humanity about those people. I wonder if they even had a kangaroo trial.
