So the truth about what actually happened is out there and is widely known yet this clown just doubles down on the lie.  It makes me wonder if CBC actually has any standards that apply to what they publish. What an awesome piece of journalism, said no one ever.

Yup...  

The larger issue for me is that such opinion pieces should be banned, from any credible media outlets. That should be what defines "credible" news. In regards to the CBC there is a mechanism for retribution, the so-called CBC Ombudsman.
