    So – if the Dems really want to get serious about putting forward a genuine representative of their party  in 2020, they should certainly choose Rashida Tlaib. Not to do so will be, Islamophobic and sexist.

      So here's my dream scenario. They do just that, put forward the most leftist, identity politics candidates and policies, and then someone with deep pockets, like Bloomberg, steps in and starts up a third, centrist party, wins big, and the other two fall apart in confusion and internal warfare.
