Maybe you should just start by getting *any* job.

Uhhh, he completely ignored what the Government has done on Wait Times, so you are right jdobbin is in full attack mode today ...... as usual.
-
Seems like your primary concern is slandering the Conservatives and ignoring evidence provided to prove you wrong.
-
He has. Here is the link. Does it completely fulfill the promise? No. Is it actually *doing something about it in Government*? Yes. Valid questions that Harper-haters refuse to answer ....
-
Doesn't that question require a degree of belief on your part that the Conservatives performed well in their first year in Government? i.e. they have some standard to slump from.
-
Hmmm, seems like the last government to deal with abortion was a Conservative goverment. This Government has pledged not to act on the issue. They haven't. The Liberals have never proposed to legalize marijuana or prostitution. Do tell how the Liberals and Conservatives taking the same actions on these issues looks badly on the Conservatives... Methinks you are wearing rose-coloured glasses...

What exactly are NDP people? Supporters? Volunteers? Elected officials? The Conservatives aren't going to peddle their ass to anybody to gain support. They may make a few concessions but nothing along the lines of Paul Martin bending over for support. The Conservtives know that no other will be willing to force and election. The Conservatives have the most money in the bank and have nominated all of their candidates. Has any party completed the nomination process? I know the Liberals haven't. It's easy to play chicken when you know the other guys will turn first.

Learn to spell, capitalize words properly, and use correct grammar. The Liberals still need 40% of the vote intention to be positioned for a majority. I haven't seen one poll in the last year that puts their support at such a high level.
-
Not even close. The majority of the money ends up in the hands of paretns *after-tax*. There plan was to give businesses credit for creating spaces. Not take credit for it. They have to create better incentives to get businesses to create spaces.

Liberals, Bloc show down on Trusts
Ricki Bobbi replied to geoffrey's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Do share the expert evidence. While you are at it who said we would "all sink into social program poverty"? What was the issue with rhetoric again? -
Which party would win those seats in Alberta Geoff? You keep beaking about an alternative to the CPC in Alberta, but have said that you are too much of a dilletante to do the grunt work to make it come about. It took the Reform party two elections to get to 1993. Assuming we are a year out from the next election, which party is in position to take the place of the Conservatives the election after next??? Yup that was conventional wisdom in 2003 ... and Martin squeaked out a minority. Conventional wisdom in the last election was that the Conservatives couldn't win ... and they won. Conventional wisdom is now that the Conservatives can't win a majority ... guess we'll have to see. If people had to bet between a Liberal minority or Conservative majority in the next election, those being the only two options, which would they choose??? At this point I think a Harper majority is more likely than a Dion minority.

Flaherty is spitting out rhetoric? Do you actually read what you write or is a double-standard nothing you worry about??? (In case you don't understand my point: you are complaining about Flaherty's rhetoric when your post is nothing but rhetoric.) -
Canada can get rich by going green: Dion

Again with the obstinance. Maybe it would go better for you if you just told the truth. -
Fair enough. But the Seahawks shoulda mopped the floor with the hapless Rex Grossman. The Saints shoulda mopped the floow with the hapless Rex Grossman. The Bears have just proven they can win. Win ugly (that Arizona game), win with defense or special teams. I tell you one guy who is cheering for Grossmanl .... Trent Dilfer. Cuz if the Bears win Dilfer loses the tag of worst starting QB to ever win a Super Bowl.

Tories Announce Energy Efficiency Plan

Soldier's in our streets, with guns. I am not making this up. BAH LOL my point exactly Ricki Bobbi! Well, mine too, actually. Apropos of nothing to do with the OP, I think people really don't get the "American-style attack ads." That label doesn't stick if the ads are based in reality and have a good point to make. It didn't work in 1993 with the Jean Chretien ads run by the PCs, because the guy has a medical condition. Didn't work in 2006 for the Liberals because their ads were such an incredible nose-stretcher that people didn't buy them. Both were terrible and would never have been run at the national level in the US. Ads going after Dion's terrible environmental record while in that portfolio could work if done right. Even negative media coverage would get people thinking. "Yeah, Dion didn't do very much as Environment Minister, so why should we trust him to be PM???" -

Adscam II is coming back real soon.

Read this. Yeah, you proved my point. They aren't audited by the OAG (i.e. Fraser's office.) They are audited by a self-appointed external auditor. Does Enron ring any bells??? Maybe you should try reading what you post... -

Tories Announce Energy Efficiency Plan

So the Conservatives have created a new program that will be three times as a efficient as the program the Liberals institued. How is this coming under attack? Holmes' show exposes fraudulent contractors taking advantage of homeowners. That isn't the type of fraud that would be dealt with in this case. -

What about people having to pay up front with that mony being refunded if and only if they end up taking part in the program? Seems like a good solution. Gets rid of the free riders. Then if the numbers are low it will truly prove how *committed* to the economy Canadians are where it matters most, their wallets. -
*Essentially* is a pretty loose term to use. Do you think they are taking steps in the direction of fixing the country? What is the value of far more radical steps only to lose power in the succeeding election only to see all of their fixes reversed? You just said it was $225 to $300. Where is this much more than a few hundred dollars coming from? What about the associated fall in value of the Canadian dollars? The rise in the prime rate?

How much money was handed to people for audits? What if people have to pay for their own audits to take part in the program? -
Are you adding anything new to the thread with these almost identical quotes? The CPC isn't blaming everyone and everything else. The Government has accomplished a lot. Since you didn't answer this the first time I posted it, I'll reply again. Only once in the past 35 years has a Federal Government won a majority of the votes cast. Does that mean that the problem with all of those Governments was *their policies*?
