  1. I'm a little surprised they didn't pay for it. Still an opportunity for them. Pay up, if the consortium won't allow them. Boom new issue....
  2. It's only the leftie partisans accusing the Conservatives of setting the bar *so* high. The leftie partisans are the only ones *calling* them on it. There is lots of evidence of liberal bias in the media. The Conservatives got so much support because the Liberals were so rotten, corrupt and full of entitlement that they just had to go.
  3. Fair enough, but that's what the Liberals did to win in 1997, 2000 and 2004. Read Warren Kinsella's book and he'll tell you just that.
  4. There is a tremendous opportunity there for the Conservatives even if they aren't allowed to air those ads. They could just run text ads, with a tagline like "The Liberals held public debates, but they don't want you to hear them." That would be brilliant and could keep the good news running....
  5. I must have missed it. Did you call yourself non-partisan? You missed the point. Can you name something good he has done as Prime Minister....
  6. Back to the topic of the thread. The ads seem to be in pretty heavy rotation. They are cheezy, but so were the beep beep ads and the fake interviews. Cheezy wins in political advertising.

  8. Why not reply to my post? Look at the context of the quote from Wikipedia. You are just here to attack me. You ignore debate. You ignored my point and just attacked me. I defended myself. There is a reason Greg hasn't warned me. You have been out to antagonize me and nothing else here. How many times have you been warned now?
  9. The elected Senate will take a majority. Needs to be equal to fly. Afghanistan is a good thing. Why try and impugn his motives on the GST cut? It was a good thing. The environmental moves have alreadty started and they will continue to happen throughout the life of the Government. (Although a political move rahter than a *genuine* one ... whatver that means.)
  10. That's because WDW is just here to attack me and try and make lame points about *bully* behaviour despite his own behaviour. For example ... Just makes stuff up. Provides no corroboration or evidence... Let's get back to the topic please.
  11. Seems like every member of the consortium that has already aired the ads, as commercials or on the news, has no leg to stand on at this point....
  12. Can you name one thing you like about Harper? You PM'd me as many times as I PM'd you... How many times has Greg warned you about the personal attacks?
  13. To repeat, if you aren't blindly partisan name one good thing the Harper Government has done? I have criticized them on a number of occasions. Another personal attack. Again reported to Greg.
  14. Of course he is. But somebody who isn't *blindly* partisan could say something good about our PM. At least he deleted that creepy stalkerish signature...
  15. Yes, you aren't blindly partisan, but there is an *obvious* lack of Conservative morality. No wonder you can't properly identify hypcocrisy, you can't even spell the word. If you aren't blindly partisan do tell some things you believe that the Conservatives have done well since they have been in office....
  16. So nothing positive came of the Liberals *scary* *scary* *scary* campaigns in 1997, 2000 and 2004? I'd agree with that. The only good things Chretien did was in his first term....
  17. Hmmm, seems like the bigger joke is the Liberals. They are saying "the Conservatives are morally superior to us but not by a lot." Liberal partisans are the only ones who see the Conservatives as lacking because they aren't much, much, much morally superior to the Liberals. Swing voters are daily being convinced that the Conservatives *are* morally superior to the Liberals. That is why we will win the next election.
  18. You know that if the CBC weren't biased Rick Mercer would think about a campaign to do that. They did it for a Conservative but something tells me they wouldn't for a Liberal leader....
  19. Some of that BC herbal medication I take it....
  20. Huh? What hasn't been *exposed* yet? Wouldn't it take negative TV Ads to expose their hypocrisy? But if the Liberals take the high road it won't happen....
  21. What you say about Chretien is correct. But do you honestly see the same level of fear in Harper or is it just wishful thinking? Martin looked pathetic when he went on National TV to beg for more time for his Government. Nothing Harper has done has approached that level of deer-lost-in-the-headlights weakness....
  22. OK, now that is funny.
  23. It did make me laugh. The lame attempt at saying the Conservatives are a broken record with accountability while continuing the scary scary scary on health care and GW Bush. The intellectual bankruptcy of the Canadian left makes me laugh.
  24. The spending limits that are in place during elections are pretty strict. That is why the Conservatives are running these ads now. Lotsa money in the bank. IIRC they actually finished the last election with cash in the bank. That would have been unheard of before Chretien's reforms.
