  1. Maybe but so far " he is trolling" is the only defense of his actions from the pro MAGAs on here.
  2. In other words..... You've made up an idea of what I am and are now demanding that I be you, or be your version of me... Why? Why do you even care?
  3. It's really quite something. How much you think you know me...
  4. I use it in the abstract, as in "the ignorant". What I love is when someone says "HEY YOU ARE MAKING FUN OF ME!!" Me??
  5. Well... that's like saying "If I don't offer to blow sailors then only 1 person a day talks to me" I don't need that kind of traffic, sailor...
  6. Maybe I would, Maybe I wouldn't. I don't feel like I'm isolated at all... Anyway, enjoy...
  7. Aw. Sad puppy. It showed up in your feed ? Awsome thanks.
  8. Is there a way to make my CLUB posts appear in the feed of new items ? It feels like nobody will notice there unless they look ?
  9. Just a bystander here, who revels in discussions about taxonomy and also loves epistemic bugaloos. 1. Did you call someone transphobic though ? Seems from #2 you did. 2. Do you think that the term is pejorative ? I don't think "racist" is, and actually had my mind turned by intelligent posters on here who thoughtfully proclaimed themselves to be 'racist'. Ok then.... But I do think 'ignorant' is pejorative because it implies a refusal to grow. Help me out.
  10. No. Only 49.9% https://www.google.com/search?q=popular+vote+percentage+2024+us+election&oq=popular+vote+percentage+2024+us+election&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOdIBCDc1MDdqMGo3qAIAsAIA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  11. Or, better, how to discern the difference between cultural obstacles and what men / women 'naturally' gravitate to ? I was reminded of the latter consideration when people were explaining why there are more men in positions of power, positions where physical strength and agression are required etc. I feel that idealogues of left/right have to bend themselves into Gumby impersonators when trying to resolve principles of masculine/feminine "freedom" versus biological programming. First step in the conversation might be trying to figure out who can actually discuss the topic without convulsing
  12. Not as much as people are gleeful over sadness and unsympathetic. It's out of character with how the average person is, I think, and that itself should be heartening. If you get down over all of this, try to remember that you are looking at an awakening of the lumpen proletariat, who are bleary-eyed looking around trying to figure which public figures are on their side. They may yet figure something out
  13. No, but I praised Poilievre a few weeks ago and Graham didn't accuse me of supporting him 😂
  14. The USA doesn't allow foreigners to own television stations, which is why Rupert Murdoch had to become an immigrant to run fox in the US. So now a weird South African/ American Mongoloid socialist druggie owns a global social media company, blocks journalists and promotes... Whatever he likes.... And he's supposed to have free rein to set the agenda for everyone?
  15. Finally some kindness in the public sphere. 💞
  16. Well that's an analogy. And that's what I was doing also. Just stick with live and let Liv then...
  17. Fair... but over time there will be no shape at all to this bloc. This was early Trudeau, before Democratic Reform was spurned ....
  18. It's all nebulous. You can say that the "new" way is less beholden to protocol, propriety and custom.and more expectant of results. Let's be generous here. And that's pretty traditionally American. Missouri is called the "Show Me" state for a reason: you had to illustrate to them how things were supposed to work before they'd support it. De Tocqueville wrote about the essential pragmatism of the American. I have read books on/by Eisenhower, LBJ, Jackson among others and this is the American thing: cut through it and do what needs to be done. It's in their culture. What remains to be seen is whether this thesis-antithesis of Democrat/Republican will meld into a new way of politics that absorbs the most "American" aspects of the Democrats and Republicans into something new and exciting or whether the Democrats will just cease... or some other option. Half of them voted for the guy, so there's no way to characterize them...
  19. The QB though... Goff was in the NFC conference final right ? So there's that.
  20. Like I said I went to bed early. So I left the game until this morning when I watched the 20 minute YouTube summary. I like those summaries, but they don't show every block. So there were lots of examples where Donald would throw it deep and they'd move it to like almost the end zone. Then the clip continues with Detroit having the ball. I guess they got stopped a lot. That's the thing about these Juggernaut teams who haven't been in the playoffs. The mental aspect hasn't really hit them.
  21. There's no Liberal party in the Senate. Look it up.
  22. Have you ever known someone who was fat, and didn't seem to realize it? Did you take it upon yourself to explain to them what they really were? I'm pretty sure you don't have any trans people in your life. One day... Someone.... Maybe a niece or nephew will change their appearance a little bit, and then you'll go... Hey, wait a second That's when the real choice will have to get made. Until then this is a theoretical discussion.
  23. Not saying this is false, but he lost the politics of it. It's about the politics of it.
