  1. I've met a few in both Canada and the United States. I'm not sure what you mean. You seem to be wating to say that Gypsies run shoplifting and pickpocketing rings in Canada. I would say that other people do to. I recall hearing a story about two old ladies who used their age to commit numerous shoplifting occurences. The fact is both gypsies and other people are attributed criminality. I'm not sure of what ethinic group is perfect little angles. I think that they have been a scape goat. I won't even acknowledge that statement as it is utterly baseless and pervading of ignorance and insult. Lots of gypsies are adherant members of various churches such as the Catholic church or protestant organizations. They have for well over a thousand years lived and contributed to society. Utterly disciminatory and rascist. Hells and the Mafia have likely committed more crimes than the Roma. So are we going to single out Italians and the A typical Waspy sort as not fit for immigration to Canada? What about Asians or Africans cause they commit crimes too. Your line of reasoning is faulty. Also not all crime is nonproductive, some is directly associated with production. One Gypsie I met happened to be a farm owner in California, he put people to work, not unlike many other people in California employing illegal immigrants. Its illegal but you need to quesiton is the law moral, does it fit in with a whole dharmic construct. Is law really benefiting society. Some laws undoubtly do, other laws are made to oppress people, and that isn't contributing to society, it is detracting from a whole and moral society. When questioning is law good you need to ask, is it infringing freedom or is it enhancing freedom? What grounds exist to take away personal liberties so a small subclass can benefit from that. However this is about Gypsies not a discourse on crime and justification for breach of a given law. There are many gypsies who are very wealthy and very much are involved in providing services to people. They actually have a very traditional ethos, and are at times very tied into mainstream religions, well spoken and friendly. The key is being prepared for visitors, and being a good host. If you arn't prepared for them and you know they are coming then you can't complain things are issued when they get here. Here is some mass media ... http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2012/09/wealthy-roma/oneill-text
  2. Personally I think Gypsies are generally friendly and entertaining. If we had a freeer country I don't think there would be much of an argument against them. I like them, they are free spirited. They tend to be libertarian in mind. I like that.
  3. parts of afghanistan and pakistan the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, aka the Taleban government or when others don't like it Regime You just arn't recognizing them cause it substantiates your position, that position doesn't reflect reality though. Even the installed Afghan government forces are killing Nato states solidiers. The elections were rigged. Afghanistan remains a split state with groups both for and against the government. They work with the Taleban as well as US led coalition forces. There are lots of sources http://www.mei.edu/c...tic-development http://www.wsws.org/.../afgh-s29.shtml http://rt.com/news/a...withdrawal-894/ http://dawn.com/2012...nment-collapse/ http://www.reuters.c...66672._CH_.2400 etc.. The general concensus is Hamid is a puppet propped up by NATO. Without the bribes nato has been dishing out.. and if you doubt that the government is incredibly corrupt receiving payola then that is a whole different absence of your awareness. Fact is there is massive hate of the NATO forces within the Afghan puppet government and that is the best nato could do. Also it is currious 5 of 7 of Hamids sibblings live in the United States. Also that the NLF was CIA backed and a route for the US resistance funding of the mujahadeen. Hamid was the director of that group and clearly has direct and long term connections with the CIA since the 80's. Connections that had him within the US government in the 1990's including speaking to the US senate. yes most certainly, why don't you post up some of these trusted links that substantiate your side of events. But don't post up any news from a NATO country. Research how the Bonn Conference 2001 came into being and who was pro US / pro west at the conference and who was not. Then look at the events of the 2004 elections - which saw NATO disallowing specific candidates because they were not pro west. Then look at the 2009 election rigging reports. What don't you understand? Those are them free elections of the people who will vote for us elections right? What we will do is just not let anyone run that people will vote for other than the person we want to win, then it will be a fair election right? Fair for us because we'd just have to kill the guy .. Hamid = CIA collaborator for the past 40+ years, and that is the reason NATO let him be where he is. He has been working for the CIA longer than he has been working for the Afghan government.
  4. au contraire, It is incredibly easy to debate a topic when the person you're debating knows nothing about it. The taliban existed before 1996, and they continue to exist. You can't extinguish states, their scope of influence however can change. Hamid is a US puppet, always has, hasn't had a legitimate election yet. WRONG - it was ISAF that invited Hamid Karzai to stay and assist with gaining control over the country. insurgents = remnants of armed opposition to the invasion. no sorry. It changed from invasion to occupying part of the country. If you are denying the US invaded afghanistan you can deny that but I don't see any evidence saying so. It is interesting how you put those peices together to fit your story. Where is the fairy godmother? Sorry Taliban arn't spending all their time planting flowers these days. Take today and yesterday for example. Headlines today "Obama nominates new Afghanistan commander " "A US drone attack has killed 18 in Pakistan" "11 people killed 30 injured near tea" "7 British Royal Marines Arrested by UKMOD for Murder of non civilians in Afghanistan" "Insurgents attack kill NATO soldier in southern Afghanistan" fat lady hasn't sang, no bright lights etc.. The line at the bottom of an attack today gives you the reality that this is not just giving massages Those are just the dead... take for instance these casualties of war http://rabble.ca/new...war-afghanistan You may eventually come to terms with what actually happened. You don't need to live in denile for everything, you arn't bad just because of your past actions. It is all the world we live in, that world isn't necesarily what we think it is, situations change, and I think everyone is doing what they think is right at any given time based upon the context they are in and what society made them. Do you really beleive your version of events, think deeply about the points and if they make sense to you. In your reality these people are hunting elk, does that make sense to you? http://afpak.foreign...istan_commander
  5. Embassy should have asked him to search Ruskies instead of russia than.... He'd probably move to Russia on that salary after being in the forces for 4 years (bad joke) Although its not bad looking at the scaling... http://www.forces.ca...ficersregular-1 the pump nearly made him a Major though.. .. and international relations ... if canada was smart they would have taken pictures of his kids then worked him as a double agent for when it mattered (more)... but I geuss it was too late after he was found out... you know see what intel they could get on Russias spy activities. It just plays as a government funded "spooky bedtime story"
  6. Well the courts still exist right, the attorney general hasn't completely shut them down yet, so some point of researching information still exists from the government. I think in part the Government may be more along the lines of PRIVATIZE EVERYTHING, even information. There are schools and stuff. I'm sure orgs like the NSA have all the facts our government pays to get anyway right. I think like CSIS or something has a partnership with them, or something like the mystified UKUSA, so perhaps Canada can just get their info from them. In reality there is still a lot out there, but what needed information is missing? Scientists have the world called science, Academia is in part public (and publically funded) and in part private in that it is international, local and everywhere in between. I'd rather have 0 tax and have trusted organizations manage information - since it is all opinion anyway. I think perhaps orgs like Decima don't like the idea of not having the access to demographics. No worries companies like google and apple will tell everyone how the world is. They might even be able to tell you how you are even if it is grossly inaccurate. I sort of like the idea of an "anonymous government", but it does represent both a safety and a danger. I would much better like the idea of a government more-secure public national intranet, where users just send all their statistics to the Multivac. Access to do the research is the real issue, because if we don't have access to power of state to gain access to private property for studies etc.. we won't know the for instance environmental dangers untiil they are in the public realm. I disagree though, I think that there is a trend of downsizing (which although my heart goes out to the public service) is too large based on the current work model, and the net benefits. I think the public service needs massive reorganization, and more power needs to be transfered from exclusive government domains to the good citizenry. What Gregg is omiting about the staffing cuts is that the Conservatives inflated the size of the Federal government in their first few years in. They are just normalizing the size of government back to what it was when they went in. I do like the idea of "open assessment" that is parliamentary committee reports on any project that someone petitions to have parliament address before approval, and all requests are to be slated. I'm sure some groups would flag everything for review.. and we would put parliament to work. I like the idea of that type of process where the public has access to parliamentary committee to determine if requests requiring environmental and public interest are allowed for anyone in the public to voice their concerns and present their case for or against, and no only in ottawa but also via phone internet and remote feed. I think the library and archives act is a bit too desierous, what they need to do is connect with local libraries - if they havn't already to out source some of their duties to the local level and to university and college libraries. Experimentation lakes should have been turned over to "all universities and colleges" in Canada, as well as solicit foreign institutions for membership in a group corporation, and interested private stake holders, in the scope of a not-for profit research corporation. Having trusted information is important but I think the government needs more "input streams" for data from the public.. let the public say what they think is valued information on a subject. If scientist want to supply data great, but we should support scientists in projects of merit. Information should be in the public domain not the private domain. This is why reforms to copyright law on fair use for research are important. I think fair use for public policy and governance is also something that should be in the act. I think the idea of privatizing air lines then legislating them is akin to nationalization but everything that is legislated is a little nationalized. I think if the government want continuous service it should be expanding its military fleets with Canadian made aircraft, and using them for a host of services. But the problem is government isn't willing to be more economical than the private sector in managing these things, and that is a shame. Interesting article but double speak only exists if you listen to what they are saying. The child pornographers link almost suggest Toews took picture of the underage girl he was reported as messing around with, whether true or not. Wow, I'm suprised he goes into the US line of fire. He does exonerate himself with He basically says, yes Harper Government is Hick Government, or rural government. He further exonerates with and that paragraph that followsIn terms of strategy.. Core "zero-sum society" I think you need to read the whole thing, he for the most part is just mimicing mainstream media position in the paper. That is more or less what they are potrayed as/is are. Where is the discussion?
  7. COMRADE I WILL HAVE TO CALL THE KREMLIN TO SEE, BUT THE LINE FROM MY IGLOO ISN'T IN YET AFTER THE TUNDRA GOT BOGGED DOWN AND THEY STOPPED THE PROJECT FROM IGLOOLIK. I MAY HAVE TO GO TO OUR SOVIET AIRPORT OUT THE BACK OF IGLOOLIK TO CATCH ONE OF THEM TROOP TRANSPORTS THAT IS BEING UNLOADED EVERY 20 MINUTES, JUST HOLD ON A BIT AND I WILL BE BACK TO ANSWER THE QUESTION. WELL ALCOHOLS NOT ANY CHEAPER.. THEY COULDN'T HAVE WON. MAYBE JEFF JUST WANTED TO SEE WHAT THEY COULD MAKE OF THE DATA (russians reply a few week later,, i fear the canadians are trying to raise the price of oil and steal camels. but comrade that is our objective too. But they only do the first with their ships the second with their russian women... good one comrade good one, heigh! *russians dance away look what we have acomplished with the splines, recursives and dithers
  8. They arn't immune but they are much less effected by EM waves if the exterior is sheilded, that is if unsheilded they are still disrupted, they just are much more prone to resist non persistent non super high energy pulses (that is they can still work after ) they are still effect but the system is only disrupted and not fried as some solid state systems would be I'm actually quite interested in designing nano vacuum tubes for space based systems (for carbon fibre electron transmission with benifit of increased beneifts fir analog application and to yeild higher resistance in high energy environments (and for the ability for soft reboot--as protected solidstate systems are very costly -- the vacuum tubes are only as resistance as the tube design and material itself. glass is somewhat crystal lattice silicate generally, conducts heat and thus enegy, carbon can be shaped to very interesting effect on the nanoscale. nice to me you echo kilo julliet or can I just call you jelly? My call online is second class alien or just woody for short shh no need for the papratzi
  9. There are things called Helicopters... so yeah rigging up some harnesses chucking a highly thermal fabric parachute or cavas. or just water bombing the thing. Settling up a crash mat or even attaching a crash mat onto the bottom ain't impossible. The EMP stuff ain't mythical it exists. All they would need to do is knock out the propulsion. even a giant electro magnet may have functioned if it had metalic parts or just using down draft on a helicopter to force it off course, depending on its sophistication. Say giant fire hose none the less, yes it would have been possible, they really just didn't care, I actually think it was just to substantiate doing fly overs of Lebanon in retrospect to increase the "fear of complaicency" and technological innovation in Israeli's classic enemies of state. Now unknown is if there was an autodestruct sequence but the thing could have been yanked down instead of blown up even a few sonic boom wakes well placed would have wreaked havoc on the subsonic aircraft.
  10. More bs.
  11. You clearly don't understand Afghanistan. Learn a little about Afghanistan's political structure since WWII and post back.
  12. then why don't ya marry him you just like baloney go back to bed
  13. If you think doctors arn't qualified to diagnos then the solution is simple. Limit doctors able to do the pre DAU review to those who pass tests like people feigning illness those already getting odsp can be matched with "scammer" to see if they can detect the djfference. Only ones with clean records over a given period participating do the reviews. Offer solutions to your problems. I read a comment on the ow system being a sort of lean workforce , re sears "the lean state" http://spe.library.utoronto.ca/index.php/spe/article/view/6816
  14. They still havn't taken down the Taliban, nice try. http://www.hindustantimes.com/world-news/Americas/US-talks-with-Taliban-collapsed-over-Gitmo/Article1-942266.aspx The US and ISAF were not under Afghan command. The US invasion. You are looking at it from a side, you fail.
  15. No, he sucks and is driving the country under a pile of massive debt. He has added more to the public debt than Mulrooney. Good government means not destroying the future of the nation.
  16. I think there are a lot of unsubstantiated accusations floating around here. The only people referencong the frauds are people who let them happen, which means they themselves abet the frauds. Not exactly a trusted source of info. I do think a better production based workfare program needs to replace ow, get back to tbe heart of houses of correction but with better human rights standards. Menial and unskilled labour isn't the answer though it must be trades apprenticeships that are in demand. These programs exist to give the able poor a means to return to work. ODSP, thus the disabled are fully entitled to the alms. It should just be a flat rate with an emergency mechanism for get all the audits and penny counts, the staff costs to manage that crap costs more and is inefficient. The public service costs way more than social assistance. Cutting public service and health are the only ways to remove provincial debt everything else is just for show.
  17. CARBON TAX IS NOT THE ANSWER, what is needed is a broad environmental damage tax applied to producers and importers, assessed at the value of clean up damages directed to enviornment canada for epa as well as production technology upgrade credits. Carbon is only one problem there are many others, a total comprehensive shstem needs to be undertaken, as medical costs for cancer and other diseases as well as climate change protections like forest fire and flood protections need to be implemented, the costs are not small and the public should not bear the health and safety costs of get rich defilers both here a d in Timbuktu pumping out goods while ignorant and blind as to the harm the are making in the world. You can't be behind the movement like the Tories you must be a true leader and visionary for the future. Yesterday doesn't make tommorrow better if we live in yesterday striving for tommorrow. We must live tommorow today.
  18. because you cannot name even one.... means you have no grounds to say they exist as you do not know anyone even well enough to know their name let alone their habits. If they are like you it must be. Thinking the world is full of them, yet you would rather sit by and let them do it than call. Either you know of people who are doing this or you don't. Of abetting welfare fraud? Give some case examples of these frauds. Give me your name and address. Since I don't beleive you, I'm not going to bug the police over this, but since you won't breach your net anonyminity you are just BS talking as far as I'm concerned. Could it be you are the only fraudster you know?
  19. The drone was a low altitude low speed drone, which was beleived to have had GPS guidance systems, as well as electronic circuitry based navigation systems. As such frying the circuits would have disabled the drone. At which point it would be easily captured through harnessing or through disabling its propulsion system if it were not regulated by electronic systems. While it may still explode on contact, I would beleive that the system if they intercepted it, would have been able to been taken down in an area prepared for soft landing. I havn't been able to find much on Israeli EW modules though. For instance something like this... perhaps http://eurekaaerospace.com/news/abc-news-microwave-gun-could-end-high-speed-police-chases They exist, even small ones have been made to shut down individual computers at close range... causing hardware failure and blue screening. Now its true the system could be sheilded with some sort of Faraday system... but who knows... EM's are an interest of mine due to an interest in HAM. I think for reasons I can't disclose the CF is not an intensive EMP point in terms of their defence standards. I would think only very select facilities have any application for the stuff such as perhaps specific main communications centers (maybe), some advanced air systems, and a few very select facilities (that havn't been sold) for nuclear protection. Of course there are cirulations of LARGE SCALE EMP use by Israel against Iran. But I would think Israel would have this stuff in the RECCE type arsenal.
  20. I'm suggesting you are spouting baseless rhetoric and have supplied no evidence to back up your very broad claims. Yet you can't name any, perhaps you are part of the problem. Name some of them. Your entire position is now based on what you think, and you have all these people that you can't specifically reference, so basically you are abbetting welfare fraud, admitantly. It also says that you are blindly standing by even though you know of doctors who are clearly unqualified to provide assessments. If what you say is true (and I doubt anything that comes out of your mouth as true), then basically you are the problem because you let it happen. You have basically said to the WORLD. MR. CANADA IS A WELFARE FRAUD ABETTOR, A CRIMINAL. I think the next logical step is for you to provide your real name and address so we can file fraud charges against you, then you we can have one less person leaching off the system, right MR. CANADA?
  21. Like who? Like who? Where are you getting this from? You are playing your own fiddle. Well you do know that OW requires people to work to get benefits unless they have a medical condition that prevents them from it. Likewise those with medical conditions receiving OW can be diverted to ODSP because they arn't well matched with teh WORKFAIR program OW is. Workfair entitles people to work or train for employment. You don't seem to have a clue what OW or ODSP are. ODSP exists for people who have long term or permanent disabilities. DOCTORS are the ones who make those diagnosises. Faking a debilitating disability that is of a long term or permanent nature is not likely. I'd suggest you cite specific individuals who are doing this or stop your senseless lies. People who get OW earn less than minimum wage for the number of hours they have to put into the program this includes madatory training sessions and community service. People who receive ODSP are disabled. IF you know of people "faking" their disabilities --- list some names... cause the only way you would know this is if you are spying on them and are an M.D. are you an M.D. Mr. canada? My guess is no you arn't and you are full of it.
  22. Why were they knocking on the door? And, delta just happened to be positioned around to to...? Why was delta there.. what are the names of these three Afghani policemen, and under what grounds and whose authority were they acting... Omar wasn't arrested under Afghan law... What law was broken... What year is this? and what Afghani's are you talking about Taliban Government Policemen coordinate with US delta force? Does not compute, you are talking BS. Total BS, the DELTA FORCE AIN'T ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF AFGHANISTAN POLICE! TOTAL RHETORIC. HELLO he was part of a defence against a foreign invasion. (And for that he was not a criminal he was a victim according to international law) [ WHAT COURT OF LAW? UNDER WHAT LAW? UNDER WHAT JURISIDICTION? More BS. I'll read the rest later as you arn't providing any real evidence other than tilting what actually occured to suit your conscience. Everyone has the right to self defence. I can pick up a gun and shoot people to defend myself if I feel my life is jepordized. So can your grandma or 1 year old child. It is about reasonable use of force. Canada don't have a right to kill people half way around the world for sport. Nor does the US or their puppet governments. As far as your budies go and lack of evidence it is you who has blinders on, and you arn't judging the situation on an equal basis. You simply arn't recognizing rule of law in context of the Taliban being the civil authorities at the time of the invasion. You and your budies invaded another part of the world contrary to the UN charter. While you can beleive they were terrorists, they didn't commit any terrorist acts against Canada, or any other country. A group of Saudi's financed by a Pakistani general (according to the FBI) who were trained in Germany and the United States Hijacked some planes. There were no illegal activities happening in afghanistan at the time of the invasion. You are making a fantasy world to suit your own objectives. He was fired on he can fire back. That is the bottom line. source: https://www.jagcnet.army.mil/DOCLIBS/ARMYLAWYER.NSF/0/5596a10a4f7576e2852579e2005ba0ac/$FILE/By%20Major%20Winston%20S.%20Williams.pdf Civillians who will be killed by military personnel are not legally obligated to roll over and die, and may use reasonable force to protect their life and liberty. So under your justification anyone making guns at Colt Canada or making bombs is a terrorist? You don't like the conduct so you criminalize it, that is all it is to you, the legal justification is absent from your assessment. You are oblivious to the law. It is them and that is all that matters to you, it is them so they are terrorists, even if the same conduct under equal circumstances happens here in Canada.. it isn't terrorism, .... you don't have an equal view in the same light so your opinion is biased and not reasonable in consideration of the application of law. The very basis that international law was not adhered to nor US Law in Omar's treatment invalidates the entire process - he was subjected to unlawful process and commmitted no "crime" as no law was broken by him --- and in all instances of US law he had justified defences. He was subjected to torture and human rights abuses and in any civilized nation that would make him a victim of humans rights abuses perpetuated by a state --- and those being war crimes. The US doesn't even recognize the bloody Geneva Conventions You are totally oblivious to the circumstances of the invasion of afghanistan, its illegality and absence of grounds for the US to try people for terrorism in another state--- they have no grounds.. if they were to be tried for breach of law it would need to be within their jurisdiction - the US did not claim occupation of Afhgnaistan it had no lawful or legal authority and didn't even follow the international rules for occupations. It is a rouge state when it comes to international law, and American's are proud of that. Your justification for locking the kid away for a decade was --- George Tenet thought it had Osama's fingerprints on it. 2 year gap much... http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CRPT-107hrpt792/pdf/CRPT-107hrpt792.pdf --- 3 policemen... ....\
  23. The Opening Poster has some good points about the dangers of nuclear power plants, especially older ones, and ones in seismically active zones, or areas prone to natural disasters, or war damage. The dangers of nuclear plants are not localized they are regional, even from Japan Canadians were dosed with small amounts of radiation, as well, our food chain has been contaminated. Now we get these same things from damagaing coal plants, damaging petrochemicals, damaging ionized radiation from other sources, contamination to water supply with industrial wastes, contamination to food source with additive and preservatives that are unnatural to human diet. (yes it is very bad to gain ionized radiation from discharges of radioactive waste from the nuclear industry http://www.iaea.org/Publications/Magazines/Bulletin/Bull314/31404683742.pdf) We need to ask though, what is needed, we can't just pull the plug that would lead to even more problems. Unfortunately, people like Rad arn't willing to link with myself to form a single reasoned world super government that will solve all the problems of the world. As such capitalist countries will continue to allow private companies to provide services as long as they are not immediately fatal to the public and take a decade or longer of study to determine adverse effects, or effects that are not able to be detected in small qualities because only one sample is used rather than the combined total effects of a large scale closed model that takes into account all factors. These things are no brainers but people want their TV's and computers that as a biproduct polute the environment and consume huge amounts of energy and water to produce. While it is all just extra luxury junk, people who don't have private property in a material world feel worthless. In reality yes we need basically nothing but food water and cloting and perhaps health care, but who wants to live that sort of life, the government won't provide universal health care, people don't want to all get 100 dollars an hour with 10 dollar loaves of bread and 15 dollar beers. Forced to use regular public transit, with bans on production of anything not essential to life if it can't be made from nature without complex processes causing contaimnation and waste byproducts. Its like you are suggesting we all live in the fourth world. While I would support these notions we can't go from first world economies to fourth world economies overnight, as a matter of fact, it may not be possible without nuclear plants melting down, lethal diseases being released into the environment and dangerous nuclear stockpiles becoming a risk. (Perhaps it would even require a millenium...) While your dream is possible O.P. it will take cooridnation and planning. Germany shut down plants over this; however, there are new nuclear technologies that are dramatically safer --- like neighbourhood mini nuclear plants that are much smaller -- - lithium reactors etc... these things are much safer and easier to clean up. These safe technologies will be the future as older plants overdue for shut down actually do shut down. Those other ones get refurbished. But energy supply due to alternative energy is happening. If you want to lead the charge either live 0 energy or supply your own energy. It is up to every single person to supply their own energy needs. When this is happening and we are all enlightened and educated environmental peace shall reign.
  24. 'You can't ban strikes you can only make them illegal until they get to court if teachers are locked up its still a strike I highly doubt mcguinty would lock the kids up with them... united civil disobediance can't be legislated against only the weak` fail after all was said and done they'd probably get a few extra lines into the curriculum its pretty clearly explained here http://www.mississauga.com/news/article/1512241--teachers-vote-to-strike-despite-ban
  25. and which ones don't name some or it is baseless rhetoric, and that just makes you look like a stooge cause you know them so well
