No not at all. When covid is properly diagnosed like a flu is there has been no flood gate impact on hospitals. Early detection and isolation are the key, not the death rate of the flu. We had no early detection and isolation procedures. Had we, there would have been no total shutdown but what happened in Taiwan. I would guess for now in the absence of proper planning ....quarantine has helped prevent a sudden spike of cases yes which could have swamped hospitals. Has not happened in most hospitals in Canada. Again it's deadly as all virus can be to people with underlying conditions....that makes obsessing over death rates a red herring. Preventing its spread is the key concern using reasonable not hysterical nonsensical measures. Distancing, handwashing are two basic common sense behaviours with any illness.

Graduated return to work is being planned. Its tricky. You do not want to trigger a second wave while doing it. It is coming within the next 6 weeks but will vary depending on population size and density. Urban centres with large populations will have issues smaller towns do not.
