Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson's comments.

If a contract can be altered based on feelings, then I'm sure the Robertson's have very strong feelings around this matter as well and will be moving on. -

Suspended for what? Having an opinion that differs from the network? Not sure that will stand up in court. -

Without reviewing the contract, I would guess that it's already been broken with A&E's dismissal of Phil. The rest of the Robertson family have already issued a statement suggesting that they will not be doing the show without Phil. -

You're probably right, most networks likely prefer to vest their interest in in more moral offerings, like Snooki and Jaywow or Rodeo Girls. -

I agree this is a bit rough to read, it's unusual to hear someone express their opinion on this matter so bluntly and to the point and not clouding the issue with rainbows and parades. But is his opinion really that despicable? I'm not sure it's hate he's expressing so much as his inability to identify with homosexuality and the conflict he perceives it presents within his faith. -

I agree, A&E does have this freedom. The Robertson family also has the freedom to move on to another network and I'm sure their contract lawyers are likely finalizing cancellation of any remaining obligation to A&E as we speak. Their brand is very marketable and very profitable, it is likely in the interest of all parties to end the relationship. I'm sure there is a network out there that would love to profit, and would likely have no trouble at all letting the Robertson's hold their own opinion without bullying them into submission. -

You are correct. -
I'm sure... I don't know, he spelled it out pretty clearly in his year-end interview with Jacques Bourbeau: Based on his previous track record, I think he will likely follow through on his stated intentions despite the possible scenarios that others are anxiously creating on his behalf.

Hard to consider it a comprehensive entertainment console if it doesn't play blu ray. I think PS3 has it beat in this regard.

Your contention is derived from a perspective of existence, it's impossible to fathom non-existence from this perspective. It's like trying to quantify infinity.

A singularity (the centre of a black hole) is the point where the quantum forces of the universe break down and cease to exist. Everything in the black hole does indeed have dimension that is in a state of change which increases as it approaches the singularity, but at the singularity it does not "approach zero", it is zero (ie. ceases to exist within the parameters of the physical attributes of the universe). It would seem turning something into nothing also requires a substantial amount of squeezing. The strong and weak nuclear forces, gravity, and EM are complex fundamental forces that are essential for the existence of matter. How were these forces created? I think this is the fundamental premise.

While Harper's attendance has not been stellar, he has had much more opportunity to address the Speaker and the House than junior. Discussions on the issues are nice, but you have to be present if you want to be part of the discussion. Not good enough to mail it in.

This guy can’t answer a question to save his life. When asked “what is the solution”, his response is “I know what the solution isn’t”. Good grief. Christmas…grandma…connectivity, these are the values that Trudeau puts on Canada Post, and the cynicism and hostility of the evil Harper Government trying to kill Christmas, grandma and connectivity is not the solution. The solution to the projected billion dollar deficit by Canada Post by 2020 in his opinion is to have a discussion.

“We need to reengage with Canadians that have lost the hope that Canada was always built on.” Hope and change, hope and change.

Yeah, but he has a good excuse... it's Harper's fault. JT's defense:

I was with you till the last line. Are you saying that you are okay with him being elected based on his superficial "likeability", or are you saying that electing such a vacuous individual based on likeability would deservingly result in a leader who's positions and actions would be correspondingly vacuous

Why I will still vote for Stephen J. Harper in 2015

Like it or not, they campaigned on a promise that they would lower the GST and followed through on their promise. Liberals may not have invented the strategy of divide and conquer, but they surely perfected it. -
I believe they should be paid as well. The fortunate side of illegal digital downloading is that it has forced change within the industry of the production and distribution model. This combined with the incredible advancements in home recording and editting technology has opened up the potential for all artists. Profit is no longer solely the domain of the big production companies.

Moon was a really good movie. Prometheus may have it beat.

Are you implying that if he wins, it can be concluded that the election was DISHONEST? Wow...win win for harper haters. -
Interesting perspective, I never considered this but it makes sense.
