  1. People like you are the reason why we see so much violence now. You don't want anyone to express an opinion that you don't like, even when you obviously don't even understand the rationale behind it. So....here's my advise to the bully: Nothing wrong with knee-jerk reaction, but don't spout off stupid things. Keep your emotions in check, and your wits about you. And, when you're in a discussion board, don't make it personal. Don't go low down to character assassination. Don't be bitchy. Discuss like a mature adult.
  2. I think they all belong in the same race. It could be a religious feud, though.
  3. Hard to be credible when you obviously can't see the evidence. Such silly response only get laughing and rolling eyes emojis. What silliness will emerge from the next post, I wonder?
  4. Hollywood scored squat in that Presidential election! Nice bonus to see the pompous big-names get pies on their faces, and get a massive dose of reality-check. Remember the Hollywood biggies - the A-listers - that all campaigned with Clinton, not to mention the popular sitcoms that made fun of Trump night-after night-after night, and all the negative social media tweets from big names! And yes, mainstream media was high on that too. They even used props! All those fake polls....and, the parade of allegedly sexually assaulted women - and that famous tape! Did they do any good? Nada. Despite all that.....Trump won. He was able to persuade his voters to reject all the above. Now, that can only come from a master persuader.
  5. Is there any recent poll about that? Scrums from Question Period say about 75% of Canadians support Quebec's ban - but that they're secretly cheering about it. In 2015
  6. I agree....except for the "disgusting" part. Some say Quebec didn't do enough. When a young Muslim person starts adhering to extremist practice like wearing the burqa, and goes against his own Muslim family over it......that should be a red flag for possible radicalization.
  7. I wouldn't be surprised. Canada is filled with liberal judges. If not complaining about those is due to logical reason....then, those who complain about the face coverings now are illogical! So, you're saying we should be able to wear a bikini to court? No. Read again. And understand what was explained.

  9. http://nationalpost.com/news/canada/canadian-survey-of-women-who-wear-the-niqab-reveals-choice-may-be-a-bit-of-a-youth-movement If a young person starts becoming a fundamentalist - wouldn't that be a red flag for possible radicalization?
  10. BS. Why wasn't anyone complaining that one can't wear a speedo or bikini to court? Or, why can't we wear masks to do business in a bank? Hypocritical. And yet, we know why liberals and Trudeau-esque mindset are all in an uproar - it's because they say we're targetting Muslims! How many Muslims wear burqas and niqabs in Quebec? Like, we are all complicit with the above? Nobody's taking any rights away. People still have the choice. If you want to cover your face, don't take the bus. Simple as that.
  11. You can't take your kirpan on a plane (for security reasons).....

....but you can bring them to school.

Ironic.  Stabbings seem frequent in schools, though I've never heard of any stabbings on a plane!

  12. What's happening in Jakarta (as shown by the video), should be a wake-up call. It's not like as if fundamentalism is spreading only in Jakarta. It's world-wide. Young Trudeau is playing with fire.
  13. Maybe not too late. We just have to keep hammering, and challenge every measure that limits our right to express ourselves, and any other rights that they try to chip away at. Never willingly give up any rights! Anyone who does, is a fool.
  14. UPDATE: I checked out the citizenship guide, and the issue about honour killings and FGM are written back.
  15. Surveillance - big brother - it's like 1984. But, I don't think 1984 touched the kind of problems we now have with terrorism?
  16. I suppose Trudeau must think his EU friends are now discriminating against women. How dare they tell women what they can, and cannot wear.
  17. Eh? Not only conservatives support the banning! Liberals, too! https://www.reuters.com/article/us-denmark-religion-burqa/denmark-set-to-become-next-european-country-to-ban-burqas-idUSKBN1CB15N They call it "a ban on masking."
  18. If it got passed in Europe.....obviously, there are liberals who like it that way too. It's all about politics.
  19. Why did Trudeau taken out the warning about FGM and the unacceptable honour killings, from the new citizenship guide? Taking and leaving out what used to be written as unacceptable..... .....implies that those are now acceptable.
  20. What else was taken out from the new citizenship guide? The section explaining that “barbaric cultural practices” such as honour killings are not accepted in Canada.
  21. Isn't it surprising for Justin Trudeau to break off from his EU friends when it comes to fundamentalist Islam? Austria Becomes Latest Country In Europe To Ban Full-Face Veil : The Two-Way : NPR http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/germany-burqa-ban-law-vote-favour-angela-merkel-islam-muslim-civil-servants-judges-military-a7706781.html
  22. Btw......if you think that's all, think again. http://www.torontosun.com/2017/09/05...algary-website let's repeat that part: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently removed the strict warning against FGM in Discover Canada — the citizenship guide given to all newcomers to Canada
  23. Last night, I watched CBC's Interrupt: JAKARTA. It's a must-see! It's a documentary about 3 activists artists in Jakarta, and it enhances feminism and LGBTQ rights (both dear to Justin Trudeau's heart)........at the expense of another agenda that's obviously much dearer to his heart - fundamentalist Islam. The video is 30 minutes long - but it's worth it. http://watch.cbc.ca/interrupt-this-p...5a-00d25f27378 The message by these artists are blunt. These struck me: "This religious fundamentalism is gaining momentum, and it's mainstreaming. It's like pollution because it's all around us and we inhale it everyday, we don't realize how bad it is for us and how it's killing us. Before, we were afraid of the government censoring us. Now, we are afraid of fellow-citizens reporting us to the police for offending them.....for offending their religion....it's a public censorship basically. Civilians censoring civilians." Islamophobia came to mind. "It's just a motion!" supporters say. Really? What for? Why do we waste time and taxpayers' money on a motion, if it's not something significant? The motion for Islamophobia is basically a foot in the door. That's how these atrocious things start. They creep up on you. An artist from Montreal says: timer- 4:30 "The most striking scene I've seen in Jakarta this time is how many women here are wearing the Muslim hijab. Ten years ago, we didn't see much. The social pressure is getting bigger and bigger." Ironically, listening to Trudeau these days........ .........does he have that feeling of deja vu lately, I wonder? If Trudeau is unstopped, 10 years from now this artist will look back, and he'll be repeating that same line.....except it will be a description of Canada. Trudeau's stance on the niqab/burqa issue, supports and enables this social pressure. Anyone who support it are not women champions - they're enablers for oppression! You can't claim to champion women and yet at the same time, close your eyes to burqas and niqabs. You can't wash your hands and say that it's a woman's choice to wear a burqa or a niqab. Anyone who stands with Trudeau on this, is either an ignorant...........or a hypocrite. What these artists had observed and revealed, should open our eyes wider - and alarm us - to what's happening around us now.
  24. Quebec joins other racist countries!

Austria Becomes Latest Country In Europe To Ban Full-Face Veil

"Starting in October, police will be charging fines from people who wear clothes that obstruct their facial features," Deutsche Welle reports. "The 150-euro ($166) fine would also apply to women wearing burqas and niqabs at universities, courts, or in public transport."

France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Bulgaria have already banned or partially banned wearing a burqa or niqab. Germany and Norway are also working on bans.

In March, the EU's highest court ruled that a Muslim woman who was fired in Belgium over wanting to wear an Islamic headscarf at her job did not suffer from direct discrimination, because her employer had a general rule against religious or political displays.

Quebec's ban isn't all-encompassing as some countries where-in it seems the ban extends more to than just public servants or receiving public service.

Merkel was calling for a ban "wherever legally possible."

I wonder what Merkel knows after letting in thousands upon thousands of unvetted refugees into Germany that our politicians in Canada don't know?
