Biden may have difficulties forming his cabinet; isn't it the Senate which has to endorse every cabinet-member?

Both parties cheat as much as they can. Bush stole the election 20 years ago and we still remember it. Then he went to a war which Gore probably wouldn't have gone to. These things happen for a reason.

If I were you I wouldn't be so gleeful. This could turn very nasty indeed and then nobody will be happy. This farce begins to remind of African elections; the vote-counting lasts and lasts, there's a president who may not accept the outcome and all sides accuse others of fraud. Perhaps for the sake of credibility of democracy Trump should do what Gore did 20 years ago and give up but that doesn't abolish the problem. Quite on the contrary.

It is very harmful if there are doubts about the democratic process of the leading western and world nation. Be those doubts legitimate or only unable to be refuted but suspicion remains.

Apparently many traditional Republican strongholds also voted for Biden while in the Congressional vote they remained strongly Republican, which kind of suggests that even many Republicans wanted Trump out.

If this isn't a case for a some kind reform of the vote counting-system I don't know what is.

This is very fascinating but still I prefer the European sort of parliamentarism which you in Canada also have.

I'm not old enough to remember LBJ but those who are tell that he was a total prick. Many people have said that only the hatred towards Trump has been comparable to how people felt about LBJ.

Biden has tried to become president twice before and on both occasions he had to quit very quickly because he just wasn't good enough. Now he is supposedly the best the Democrats have got. How has the standard fallen so low? Politicians have never been outstanding characters but they have never been as mediocre as they are these days.

If Trump can pull this off it can be compared to the 1948 election when Truman(almost the same name, nomen est omen) was supposed to lose the election and the front pages of newspapers had to be taken down and printed again as they wrote about Truman's certain defeat when as in reality he had surprisingly won the election.

Biden will not win but Trump will lose. That's what this election is all about anyway. However, there will vertailu be a new president elected in 4 years time. Biden wont last 4 years and Kamala Harris doesnt have a chance.

Canada is not an ethno-state so perhaps for you there is such a thing as "right immigrants" but for the European ethno-states which want to remain majority of the indigenous population there are no right immigrants. Most immigration is harmful. It is just that some immigration is more harmful than some other immigration. Immigration can be accepted when it is based on real need and it doesn't alter the demographic make-up of the population too much.

I didn't realise Toronto was that big. I knew it was 3 million or something but it's bigger. When one thinks about it that given the size of Canada it really makes no sense to cram into big cities. Of course it about jobs and the economy but all the same it is silly to build societies in a way which forces people to move into large cities.

Interestingly when people who say that there aren't too many immigrants therefore must have some sort of an idea when there are too many immigrants and when asked about it like exact figures they never come up with any accurate answer.

Biden looks like someone who you are not sure about if he can make it to next week let alone that he would last four years.

In the USA and perhaps even in Canada people recognize that the media is biased and therefore treat it with suspicion. Unfortunately the same can't be said about the European countries where the trust in the so-called national broadcasters as well as the newspapers is rock-solid. Or that is the case in Finland. Our propaganda-machine declares 95% trustworthy-rates. However, I guess the situation is the same in Britain with the BBC. Its worldwide recognition as some sort of an impartial voice has fooled a lot of people believing what they tell you.

You get what you deserve by having voted for these people into power. Unfortunately, we can say the same thing here in any country in Western-Europe.

If, and it now increasingly looks like when, Biden wins all of a sudden Kamala's supporters will notice that Biden is senile and unfit for presidency.

The black vote is 90-10 for the Democrats, the Hispanic vote is 70-30 for the Democrats. This has been the case for 50 years. With the changing demographics it will be impossible for the Republicans to win. They would need something like 80-20 of the white vote and you know that is not possible. If you think people will get tired of living in a one party-state look at South-Africa. What a failure it has become but yet does the ANC ever lose elections?

Indeed, it seems that there is some strange worldwide urge to crash the economy and the virus offers a perfect excuse for that purpose.

Biden is such a dodgy character that there must be skeletons in his closet that he could be blackmailed with. Just imagine; the very weird sniffing of women's and even little girls' hair is something he isn't embarassed to do in the public so there must be something that even he wouldn't like to be revealed.

A week ago there was an election in New Zealand. The governing Labour-party won a landslide. It was a single-issue election about the coronavirus how the NZ-government supposedly handled it so well by locking down the country and closing the borders and ordering even returning own citizens into quarantine. Without the virus the government would have lost the election since the NZ economics was in tatters even before the virus and the lockdown ruined it even more but apparently the people of that country thought that the government had saved their lives and rewarded the government accordingly.

Biden is such a dodgy character that imagine that the stuff about sniffing women's or even young girls' hair doesn't bother him going out in public there must be a lot of stuff he wouldn't like to go public and he could be blackmailed on that stuff. If/when Biden wins expect during the 11-week period between the election and the inauguration something very harming revelations coming out about Biden making him a lame-duck even before taking office. After having taken office those revelations will haunt him and a lot of demands will follow that he should step aside and let his VP take over.
