Here we go again...Tory attacks ads.
Vendetta replied to Topaz's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Of course they can, after all the taxpayer pays for all of the positive campaign ads. Action plan ads run like mad whenever the Cons are in trouble. -
Vote: How do you feel about crime in Canada?
Vendetta replied to MiddleClassCentrist's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yes don't smoke pot, go out and participate in "extreme" sports. Nobody ever gets hurt doing that. Play hockey, no chance of a brain injury there. -
Vote: How do you feel about crime in Canada?
Vendetta replied to MiddleClassCentrist's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
No they are not. Pot is an anti-depressant and a mild hallucinogen, maybe more accurately described as a hypnotic. Try to get your facts straight. -
I think you mean "happening under his direction."

I agree, Canadians SHOULD listen to Pat Martin. -
Better watch out, I heard that all the Tory Astroturfers who posted on election day are going to jail. LOL

vikileaks30 @ twitter .. find out about Vic Toews divorce
Vendetta replied to olpfan1's topic in Media and Broadcasting
Oh please! Like Vic Toews has no chance to tell his side of the story. If he couldn't already call a full press conference any time he wants, he could have tweeted back. The problem is for Vic is that he has no moral or ethical defence for his actions that would wash with the public. The only reason he does not respond is that he knows his answers would only reveal more about his character, which wouldn't be good for Vic. -
12.4 million ad campaign for Flahertys budget
Vendetta replied to olpfan1's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
campaigning on the taxpayers dime full speed ahead! For 10% of the cost of this ad buy we could keep our Arctic research centre open. I don't know how Con voters can sleep at night. Sleaze! Every time these Cons get caught with their pants down we get bombarded with taxpayer funded propaganda. It sickens me. -
Punked, the vikileaks "scandal" is nowhere near the scope of the robocall election fraud. All the vikileaks stuff was already pretty widely known in MB and very easy to aquire court records. Anyone can set up a twitter account in about 5 mins and it is easy to believe that he acted alone. The robocalls were a massive election fraud scheme that covers dozens of ridings and had to be coordinated to have access to all the voter identification info collected by the Conservative party to have carried out this crime. Rae took responsibility even though it is very unlikely that he could have had knowledge of who was behind vikileaks and he looks like a bigger man for it. All the Cons have to say in regards to their massive electoral fraud scheme is "prove it", and "catch me if you can"!
-
Again, the Conservatives would not need to access Liberal vote lists to identify who votes Liberal and NDP, they collect that info themselves with robocall polling. Also the only info that elections canada provides is voters lists:Name and adress, phone numbers are not included, nor is voting intention. This was obviously a coordinated Conservative election fraud scheme, just like the in-out scheme, and the lying calls about Irwin Cotler stepping down.
-
Also I'm pretty sure Harper will appoint all of those involved to the senate so they can hide behind parliamentary privelege
-
To the willfully dense who keep asking why the Liberals leave their voter lists around, they don't. I'm sure you know damn well that campaigns use robocall polling to identify voting preference. That is what makes it so obvious that this was not a "lone gunman" This information is closely guarded and somebody on each of these campaigns or with acess to the central campaign had to have given them access to the riding by riding dialing lists. This government has lost all credibility. They have been exposed as liars far too many times.

Claims that Harper will move us closer and closer to being a police state don't sound so far-fetched anymore, do they? -

Great article by Rafe Mair http://thecanadian.org/item/1294-rafe-mair-tells-harper-joe-oliver-ready-for-bulldozers-enbridge "That is ill-disguised code for, “Listen you assholes, we don’t give a damn about the public process – just get it over with so we can get on with the construction. It doesn’t matter that this monstrous Tar Sands gunk is to be transported through your pristine forests, mountain and streams – get on with it.” “Pay no attention, peasants, to the fact that Enbridge has had over 800 spills since 1998 and that experience shows that the mess can never be cleaned up.” Rafe has a pretty big following in BC I'm told. -
I boycott any business that openly supports the Conservative party of Canada, and any business that I know is owned by a Con supporter. (I'll admit that sometimes I will purposely not look into this regarding some products that I really want to buy. Please nobody post the political leanings of Ubisoft Montreal, unless they are Harper -haters like me.)

Conservative Party Gun Registry Ad
Vendetta replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I never supported the gun registry and getting rid of it is about the only thing I have ever agreed with the Conservatives on. That being said, these ads are just another childish and ignorant waste of taxpayers money. It is going to take decades to undo the damage these idiots are causing to this great nation. -
Ottawa warns current health transfers unsustainable
Vendetta replied to olp1fan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yeah and I didn't even take the time to spell check it! "stupidiest"? Too ironic. Still not as stupid as claiming that incarcerating more people for longer times for less serious crimes will "save us money". -

Wow! This is the new "STUPIDIEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD". -
Chretien was a great Prime Minister. As per usual our economy fared far better when we weren't under Conservative rule. Canada was far better off with Jean than Harper in every imagineable way.

Many thanks to Justin for calling it like it is. These guys really stink.
